So how long do people expect me to wait for a response on Cherami? I had a connect to a prompt, shared the ref for the OC I'm playing as well as my f-list. I get nothing for three days so I shoot a hello. They ended chat on me. If you clearly can't find the time to rp, then why did you connect to my prompt in the first place?

It takes like 4 minutes to send a message that you’re busy or whatever like say SOMETHING

it should be noted that the concern around age verification is more than just stolen identity. it's just another thing to be added to the profile of you that exists on the internet from data mining. it removes anonymity and makes even more of a picture of exactly who you are, which can be leaked or sold without you being able to do anything about it. including ending up in the hands of governments. or certain extremist organizations.

that being said, pandora's box is already gaping wide open. but the idea of government identification being added into the mix is still concerning.

i'm rly curious about how/if other people are using the block tags and block prompts features because i've seen quite a few asks abt not being able to get away from hetero/raceplay/overly bumped prompts..... i've got 18 pages of blocked tags and 134 individual blocked prompts so my directory atp is p much only fandoms i care about and ships i might realistically be interested in at some point. is that a lot? what are everyone else's stats... am i living in the rp equivalent of a cleanroom...

are y'all alright? like, we're logging into the same site, right? i get people acting weird or being assholes sometimes, but it seems like the site is totally unusable for some of y'all. just wanted to chip in and say that the whole site isn't on fire, unless i really am in a tiny bubble. right now i've got 4 chats that are active and past 10 pages, with no sign of slowing down. one of which is pure fluff and vanilla as fuck. but fwiw, i do pretty exclusively rp no fandom male ocs in mlm pairings, so not the broadest sample size. i also don't really take offense to people disconnecting? i might be sad if it's been a long-term rp, but like... life happens. i guess we didn't vibe. there are other connects, and other prompts.

Vanilla anon here, I apologize for the heated response. I've had a couple bad experiences in rp spaces where I was being constantly ignored and dismissed for being vanilla, and it just isn't fair. Most smut rp spaces just expect you to be into most kinks by default, and given I'm not, it's been an absolute struggle to find a place that'll welcome me and give me a fair chance. So yes, I did take it as a personal attack based on past experiences, and I shouldn't have.
