⊹ ࣪ ˖ Happy pinata mama (and some taco cravings!) ⊹ ࣪ ˖
My gosh, it's been a long while since I've drawn something that WASN'T a request, hasn't it? Last time I drew something like that was... *checks tags* ...two months ago (!!) :P
I'm gonna be working on requests soon, but before I get to those, I just wanna show you guys these sketches I've been working on, and it's none other than our favourite piñata mama, Yatta!
Yes, I sketched these out because I'm SICK TO DEATH of seeing AI slop and f3tish artwork/content of one of my comfort characters being pregnant >:( Yeah, I know that shit is beyond my control and I can't exactly stop it with just my words, but still :<
But anywayyyyyy, onto the sketches! The bigger sketch is of Yatta just resting on a beanbag and a nice candy-shaped pillow, just rubbing her baby bump while fawning over the excitement of being a mama <3
The smaller sketch is pretty obvious from what I've written next to it, but yeah, it's Yatta eating birria tacos at 2AM :P This sketch in particular is based on a headcanon I have for her in this AU where, during her first pregnancy, she craved both candies AND Mexican food for the last few weeks, sometimes by themselves, sometimes mixed in with or on top of each other :P
(oh, and yeah, I'm a Mexican Yatta truther as well, but this might be slightly irrelevant to what we're discussing here haha :P)
Some of you might also notice that Yatta's eyes have a different style compared to what I usually draw. That's because I wanted to try out a slightly different style so it doesn't look like a copy of Qw*l's style ^^; (especially not after the whole drama :<) I'll be experimenting with this new style for all of my future sketches, so if you notice a few small changes to the toons on this blog, that's why ^^
Overall, I'm quite pleased with how these sketches turned out, and I hope you all like them too ^^ Now I'm off to do some requests on this blog, so buh-byeeeeee! ^u^
