I love how whenever ATLA recognizes Sokka is smart enough to solve a problem but it’d be too fast they just stick him in some kind of situation. Like he COULD’VE stopped jet from drowning a town so they tied him up and dumped him in a forest. He COULD’VE figured out what that spirits deal was so they lost him in the spirit world for 24 hours.

This is how writers should deal with characters who are too smart for the arc instead of making them suddenly dumber for no apparent reason.

If you frequently find yourself in random situations while your friends happen to be experiencing problems maybe you, too, are too smart for the narrative.

My favorite is that Sokka absolutely would've just navigated them out of the desert, so they had to put him on acid the entire time.

SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE TRAILER THOUGHTS PT. 1

THE TRAILER CAME OUT TODAY AND HOLY SHITTT EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS PEAK

Also I’m gonna do this in separate parts

* I actually love that bowser has found a hobby of painting, just like his son bowser jr! I now like to imagine that’s how bowser jr got into painting was because of his father!

* I also love how they made bowser a tiny fortress/castle to make him feel more at home that’s actually cute 😭

* Also did they imply bowser was taking some therapy classes? If so that’s fucking hilarious bro definitely needs them 😭🙏

* joking aside, it’s actually good for him and something nice to see him try to work on especially after threatening Mario over not liking his portrait and immediately calming down 😭 he has a long way to go but hey atleast he’s trying

* also I’m with Mario on this one what even is that 😭 bro you are not built like that 😭🙏

* ALSO I LOVE THE DETIAL OF BOWSER HUMMING HIS SM64 THEME SONG OMGGGGG

* Luigi and bowser being on good terms is actually so funny cause bowser went from threatening to kill him and his brother to being friendly and it’s a funny contract from the games where it took bowser years to remember Luigi’s name and not just call him “green stashe”

* and meanwhile you still have Mario hating on his ass which is another funny contrast to the games where despite everything that happens between the two, Mario still cares about him and invites him to stuff but movie Mario is just a hater and petty and I honestly love the duality of that 😭

* also I love seeing more of mario’s sassy side

* also in that clip Mario and Luigi were riding bikes this definitely means we’ll get to see the two venture together this time!!

* Also since they are going to the sand kingdom…while it’s not directly sarasland it would be cool to see daisy make an appearance

* also I adore how they are going all out in showing how powerful Rosalina is- since she’s a cosmic guardian and practically a goddess. Honestly she has so much aura

* LOOK AT THAT SMIRK my girl knows she ate him up 😭 Rosalina the woman you are

* She’s honestly just super gorgeous 😭 they really did her justice I love her smmm

* AND ALSO HER VOICE!! Brie Larson is voicing her and honestly it fits! I love how soft she sounds but also a bit energetic as well like a perfect balance of her calm and gentle demeanor and more outgoing side.

* I’m kinda sad we didn’t get to see yoshi :(

* honestly I hope we get to see scenes of peach and Rosalina interacting- I wonder what they are gonna do for them but I also just want to see my queens interact 😙

* this movie is gonna be so fucking gorgeous I swear- every shot is like eye candy already.
