Sorry quick note to say yes!! Polyships definitely allowed! I usually just tag a bunch of ship tags that come to mind and always miss one or the other :x but it’s not an intentional exclusion. Also the prompts are loose- even if something seems focused one one relationship or another a lot of it is just for historical eras- in fact, personally I’m always hoping that we get entries of different relationships being explored even during Roderich’s ‘canon relationships’ just sayin’ :xxx
Ohhh thanks for the clarification!! Also don't worry, I didn't think it was an actual exclusion, but wanted to indirectly ask just in case dsfsddsf. Ship weeks aren't usually poly but with heta that (or cheating) is usual, hehehe. I have a current day wip with Rode's pov, but (third but I'm dying) I def can get others ideas if needed (Gil kicking the door and getting himself involved where not asked, frying pangle or something else)

Hey! Thanks for the question. C: One of the things Fay and I strive for with our prompts is to choose things that celebrate and explore the culture, history, and canon characteristics Austria’s character is built on in Hetalia. The prompts are selected with the hope and intention that they’re jumping off points for folks!
For us, a prompt like ‘Privilegium Maius’ could be used in the same way that a word prompt like ‘deception’ or ‘official business’ could be used. Both of us are big advocates of loose and alternative interpretations of the prompts, so really just let your inspiration and imagination take you where you want to go and don’t stress about “making it fit the prompt” so much. (: Hope this helps, we are truly very excited to see how far folks take the prompts this year- it’s an event meant to celebrate this character so create what your heart desires!
Like last year, we have two different prompts for each day of the event- you do not have to use both of them, and prompts are, as always, up for interpretation. Have fun with it and we can't wait to see what you have created in October!

We were thrilled with the response last year, and are so excited to see what everyone creates for the event this year! We will be announcing prompts soon, but in the meantime, don't forget to check out the event rules (text version under the cut):
+ Content must focus on APH Austria, but other ships and relationships are allowed.
+ This event does not dictate what headcanons you have about country relations and familial bonds. It is open to all ships, headcanons, canon AUs, and personal AUs, we only ask that you allow space for others’ interpretations. Any ship/character bashing might be grounds for having your content removed from the event.
+ Explicit content is allowed as long as it respects Tumblr guidelines.
+ Please tag potential triggers and appropriate content warnings.
+ All types of fanwork (except for AI) are allowed and encouraged! Fanart, fanfiction, cosplay, headcanons, edits, playlists, etc. Have fun with it!
+ Indicate which prompt you’re creating for in the post and mention @hetaliaaustriaweek and use the tag #hetaliaaustriaweek.
+ You are not required to participate every day of the event. Create as much or as little as you want! Creating multiple entries for the same day is allowed and encouraged.
+ Each day has two prompts: a historical period and a word prompt; you do not need to combine them for your piece, you can just pick one.

Hi all! It's unbelievable that this needs to be said, but please do not harass participants about their event content. From the very beginning, it has been stated that this event is open to all fan content about APH Austria. Regardless to the hosts' personal preferences, the participants' personal preferences, and the readers/viewers personal preferences, this is an event that is supposed to be open to everyone. The best way to see the kind of fan content you want to see, is to either make it yourself, support creators who make it, or make an effort to seek it out.

This is from an event in Gakuen Hetalia. I played with MTL though so the accuracy is questionable (pls don't mind much). Basically, it started with France being France momen which is nothing new. And then Seychelles got "cornered", but fortunately Austria helped her. He offered to play piano with the tune of true love that France brought up before as distraction. As Austria played it, he gave a wink to Seychelles, a sign to get away. After being separated from them, Seychelles wished Austria luck (???) but she also wondered how tf he brought that piano in the first place.

Not to sound like a broken record, but Fay and I were so so amazed with the submissions and rallying for this event. With levels of participation for fandom events being lower than it used to be, we weren’t sure what to expect, so it has been so heartwarming to be proven wrong on our expectations. And it was so fun to have such a variety of content as well- art, fics, headcanons, music, food, poetry. Yes please!!

This was another fic that was mostly written out and then rewritten. idk, it’s not my best work, but I do feel like this week was really good for laying out a lot of my continuity.
I had so much fun participating; it’s the first thing I’ve ever participated in for a fandom.

He wasn’t quite sure how his “birthday” had devolved into a drinking and arm-wrestling contest between the two, but he should have seen it coming. Francis and Antonio weren’t making things any better with their betting pool, and he began to fear for his furniture with the way everyone was carrying on. Roderich felt a smile tug on his lips as he shook his head, making his way back into the living room where Erzsi and Gilbert were going “best two out of three.”

Oop another installment to my dum little restaurant AU set in Minneapolis where Gilbert is the manager of an upscale Italian restaurant. This one takes place in 2018, so about a year after the events of Ristorante Rosso and a few years after Il Lupo Rosso. Written for the Day Seven prompt 'Celebration' for @hetaliaaustriaweek !
