in an alternate universe, your 2D men are writing fanfics about you.
your anime crush flirts by comparing hand sizes with you, curls his fingers over yours to tease you about how much bigger his are only to go home and jack off thinking about how your hand would feel wrapped around his cock. sorry i don’t make the rules.
okay new game - horikoshi tends to name his characters after traits of their quirks, so based on the meaning of your name, what would your quirk be?
I can’t smile…

just imagined complimenting a guy on his chunky silver rings and then him taking them off and putting them on my fingers and i went into catatonic shock
i’m gunna use it for a fic when i get around to it and no one can stop me
I hate the whole backlash like ‘you say touch starved but you actually just mean horny’ NO I mean when I was getting my hair cut there was a moment where the hairdresser tilted my head to the side and the top of my head brushed his chest and my brain short circuited with endorphins because it thought I was being held
Because casual, platonic affection is so taboo in our society that whenever anyone wants to hold a friend’s hand or snuggle on the couch, it is automatically assumed they must be after sex. This is especially true if the person in question was socialized as a man.
relating all physical affection to sex really messes with people’s need for physical contact with others. it teaches us to isolate ourselves and deny ourselves critical interactions lest we be mistaken for pursuing sex. this is really isolating for people who are sex-indifferent, sex-repulsed, or asexual, but it affects everyone.
this is one of my fav reaction pics to use so I wanted to do a redraw of it with Dabi of course 🤭

How did he meet you? It definitely was a tale. Recalling what had actually happened, it started because of Kageyama and Hinata’s stupid races.
Kageyama bumped into you late one evening after seeing Hinata running towards the gym. He was in a rush to beat the shorty before Hinata when he’d knocked you off your feet.
Literally.
You stumbled back and dropping everything stacked in your arms as you tumbled to the floor. He quickly forgot about the insufferable orange head after he realized how reckless he was being.
He frowned upon seeing you lying on your back in front of him. Propping yourself up with a hand in your… pretty hair.
Kageyama made a noise of surprise before realizing he knocked someone who wasn’t Hinata, someone very attractive flat on their ass.
“Sorry.” It sounded more of a question and he saw the distant expression on your face. “Are you okay?”
After a hesitant nod, you looked up to see Kitagawa’s old setter standing in front of you. “Y-Yeah.” You nodded beginning to clean up the textbooks and worksheets that fell out of your arms.
He’d mirrored you, deciding that he was going to be better than he was at Kitagawa in the process. A better person to others. And you. Because you were pretty.
“You were carrying a lot of stuff.”
“I’m studying with my team.” You couldn’t help the small laugh escaping your mouth, “They’re considered lethargic.”
Kageyama stopped picking up textbooks to look at you, head tilting in confusion. “They can’t drink milk?”
You grinned, another laugh falling from your lips at the confused setter. “No, they sleep a lot. Especially during class.”
“You don’t?” His jaw dropped in the slightest at the implication. It baffled him that people stayed awake during their classes. Not when they could do their work later.
“No.” You extended a hand to him, offering a small smile. “I’m Y/N.”
“Kageyama.” He replied watching as you balanced the textbooks again.
“I know who you are.” You gave another smile, “See you around!”
He blinked. You knew who he was. You didn’t tease him about his last game in middle school. You were nice. You didn’t laugh at him.
This was a new feeling. It was nice to be seen as another acquaintance rather than King of the Court. He almost forgot what it felt like. But Kageyama would be damned if he gave it up.
“Can I carry some?” He pointed to your textbooks and you did it again. Smiled at him as if he wasn’t the asshole king people would remind him of. “You play on a team?”
“I do.” You passed him a few textbooks, “Volleyball, same as you.”
He was silent for a moment. Waiting for you to throw a jab to the sport that was his heart and soul. But you only looked at him.
“What? Anyone that has a brain would know you're in volleyball. You’re wearing the team jacket.” You shook your head, a free hand tugging at the jacket draped around your shoulders.
He raised a brow, unable to resist. “You don’t recognize me?”
A sigh left your lips and you turned to look at him, “I’m sorry, you went to Kitagawa. Call me a fan, but I think you’re a pretty good setter.”
Kageyama gaped, not even realizing he’d stopped. He found himself hurrying to match your pace, eager to scan your eyes for any sign of teasing. “Are you sure you know who I am? No ’King of the Court’? No ‘Tyrant King’?”
“Do you want me to call you that?” You raised a brow, scanning over him to see his furrowed brows and mouth ajar. “I figured you get enough of that every day or are you proud of those names?”
He quickly stood upright and shook his head. “No. I’m not proud of them. I don’t like them.” Kageyama looked down at the textbooks in his arms, a serious face coming to rest as he recalled middle school. “This is nice.”
“I’m a delight.” Your head turning upwards with a playful grin on your lips.
“What’s your position?” His eyes wide as he anticipated your answer.
Suddenly hoping you were a setter, too. It would give him an excuse to talk to you or even moreso, spend time with you. Excitement quickly raced through his veins. It was like the anxiety before a match.
Addicting.
“Are you captain? What school did you come from? What hand do you spike with? Are you a libero—”
Your hand clamped over his mouth and you gave a nervous laugh, “Too many questions at once.”
He murmured an apology from behind your hands, eyes set on yours before you pulled back quickly, opting to play with your textbooks as you quickened your pace.
“But to answer your question, I am a wing spiker.”
Kageyama seemed to light up at that, “Can I set for you?”
He noticed your twitching fingers, your eyes cast off, and the way you tried to hide your face in your jacket.
“Did I make you uncomfortable?” He gently tugged the sleeve of your jacket. “Suga said that I need to work on communicating.”
“That’s an understatement..” You muttered.
He was silent for a moment, tugging your hand to make you stop. “What does that mean?” A slight blush to his cheeks upon asking.
You couldn’t help, but laugh a little as you brought a hand up to cover your face. This was Kitagawa’s setter. Blunt and clueless. But he decided that this was a nice look for you.
“It’s a little hard to explain,” You told him, rubbing your neck when you pulled him by his hand to keep walking. “In your case, it means you have a lot to work on with talking to people.”
“I like talking to you.” He admitted, looking over at you with a shaky smile that made you belt out laughing.
He decided that he liked that about you. Your laugh and smile. It was something that made it easier for him to talk to you.
Which was weird.
Kageyama was never the talkative type. But you intrigued him, not calling him out on his past, but on his bluntness and correcting him. The walk was pleasant.
He learned you played volleyball in middle school and was accepted into many high schools for it.
Upon arriving to the classroom your teammates were settled in, he watched as the girls either gave him the stink eye or batted their lashes. Kageyama paid them no mind, his attention solely on you.
“If you ever have free time, could you wait by the gym after practice? I want to see if you’re a good player and talk some more.” Kageyama asked, eyes wide and hopeful as he stared you down.
Behind you, the girls gasped. Kageyama blinked at them once and met your eyes again. He didn’t see a problem.
Kitagawa’s Tyrant King was asking their wing spiker to come by the gym. Kitagawa’s tyrant. Not only that, but he challenged your profile as he wanted to see if you were to his standard of good. And if that wasn’t enough, he wanted to talk? Your teammates were on the edge of their seats, eager to know his intentions.
You smiled, knowing that despite them. Kageyama was excited. He would’ve been hard to understand had you not dealt with blunt personalities before.
“It’s because you want to get better at communicating, right?”
He nodded fervently. Eyes never leaving yours. To him, you were the easiest person to talk to and he knew someone he could talk to about volleyball.
“To get better at communicating.” He nodded as he gave you the rest of your textbooks. “Also because you’re pretty.”
The girls squealed and you had to cover your face then. Kageyama Tobio. He was supposed to be the Tyrant King, but here he was.
Unabashedly.
Unintentionally.
Flirting.
