how to make a master list (can you explain it like your explaining it to old person)

Hello to you 🥹 Of course!! we all started at some point without knowing anything so there's no shame behind it.

I'm your local internet grandma and learn new things every day too so hopefully this will help you haha.

First of all you start by making a post as per usual.

Now I didn't make mine look super pretty since it's just for demonstration reasons. For a masterlist you should have a headline -> here Masterlist.

You can then start on a new line and type whatever you want -> here link 1

If you were to post a fanfic i would use the title of the fic for example.

You then either draft (save) this post or post it as it is. I personally drafted it here since it won't be an actual post.

Then you go to the post you want to link to your first masterlist post.

You click on the three dots (...) and then choose copy link.

You then head back to your masterlist post and choose the words you want to link to the post.

Then you click on that little link symbol and paste your copied link into the field.

Confirm by clicking "add link"

And that's all the magic there is to it ♥️

You can edit the words you linked a post to with bold/italics and so on either before or after linking stuff to it.

If you want to add more letters or words to your link for whatever reason, you can do so by choosing everything you want to link.

Then press the little link icon again.

Confirm by clicking "update link"

And that's that ♥️
