I am so stoked to finally see a blog for us ladies in the same vein as warriormale. I wanted to ask, as a trans girl, what exercises can I do to help feminize my silhouette and flatten my tummy? I want to get a good base before I start building those rippling muscles. I do a lot of hard labor and working outside so I do have some of what I call ‘pudgy-muscle’ it’s not aesthetically defined but it’s there.
What you call ‘pudgy-muscle’ is muscle that is actually useful for doing work. Defined muscles require lots of dieting in order to burn away the layer of fat between the muscle and the skin, which is supposed to be there as energy storage and is not necessarily healthy for everyone to burn away.Â
You can flatten your stomach with core exercises like planks and leg lifts, but it will build muscle and not necessarily get rid of the fat, for which you shouldn’t beat yourself up. Remember: women come in all shapes and sizes and you are another of us with your own shape to add to our diverse group.Â
