"It is somewhere I want to stay." That was not the answer Anthony thought that he would have given after first moving here, but in the last two years, Kismet Harbor had become his home. A place where he felt safe. "I have two of my brothers here, two nieces that I get to adore as well. I can't really say there's any other place I'd rather be." She listened to him and nodded. She could understand the desire to stay in town because of family. However she had always wanted to be anywhere else in the world so she couldn't get anything else beyond that. Even family wasn't enough to get Cheyenne to stay. "No kids yourself, then?" She asked, definitely needing to know. She didn't want to be a stepmother. She didn't even want to be a mother. Taking a breath, she shrugged. "Just needed a place to crash while I figure out my next step." It was the best explanation for what she was doing back in town. "The second I can, I'll be leaving." @anthonyxblake

Giving his sister a look, he shook his head to let her know he could see through her bullshit. Just like he knew she could see through his. "Bull," he finally said with a small dip of his chin, "nah I don't buy it. That you're just too big for this small town. Nah there's something else going on." He didn't know what but he just could sense that that wasn't the honest answer. "Okay whatever I'm an asshole," he put his hands to his chest before laughing, "no shit. I'm pretty sure we all knew you snuck them in. I just wasn't a snitch. Plus why do you think I didn't get up early? I was able to sneak girls in just like you snuck in guys." He said as a matter of fsctly before giving her the tiniest hint of a smirk. It was the his turn to roll his eyes, doing so before leaning on the counter. "I wonder why...Had a bad experience with one? You know they have a sixth sense and could definitely tell who is a bitch and who isn't." @cheyennehoffmann

She rolled her eyes. "Like what? What else would be going on?" She made her way over to the table and sat down; crossing her arms. Cheyenne would never give away what was actually happening with her. The drinking problem, how it ruined her career, or anything else. But she was curious what her brother thought was going on with her. "I know you did, too. I was ready to tell if you told on me. It was mutually beneficial for us both." She smiled at him before giving him a forced laugh. "Yeah? Then how do you get girls to go back to your place? I'm sure more than half are bitches." @olliehoffmann

Alfonso was the type of endlessly positive person that wouldn't let his own enthusiasm get dampened by anyone else's lack thereof. The fact that Cheyenne replied at all was enough for him to grant another wide smile and nod happily. She may not get it yet with the kids, but he hoped that the longer she was around them, the more she'd see it. His brow quirked upward slightly at the widening of her eyes, but for the time being just hummed happily. "Of course. I may not be out there on the stage myself, but I try to stay as up to date with everything as I can. The more I immerse myself in it, the better I can pass it on to these guys," he explained. It was just a part of his daily routine, scouring through whatever footage he could find to watch and learn from. "My thoughts exactly. There's a lot of good lessons to be learned in the classics. I think this year we're going to look at a big Halloween show, put on something spooky maybe. Kid friendly, but spooky."

She took a deep breath and grabbed a towel, dabbing her forehead and then running it through her fingers. She didn't want to look at him because she was scared she was going to show how nervous she was that he had seen the video. "Yeah. I get that." She swallowed, glanced at him, then glanced away again. "What videos exactly have you watched?" She asked curiously. Cheyenne listened to him and nodded. "That'd be fun. I'm sure the kids would like that." @alfmorales

Sitting down, Rahmi was about to greet the woman in front of him when she began throwing out answers she undoubtedly had given before. Clearly she was not having a great time. Still, Rahmi decided to go along with it, seeing if that was what the woman expected him to do or if she expected him to walk away. "Okay, hi Cheyenne, I'm Rahmi. So did I, I have no idea who they are and good because I'd have to ask my daughter if she has a comic book collection I could borrow." He spoke, an amused smile on his lips. Hearing the fact the man had a daughter, Cheyenne made a face. "You have kids?" She asked, her nose scrunched up in disgust. "I don't know about you, but apparently I don't." She downed the rest of her drink and waved for another from the bartender. Resting her head on her hands, she took a breath. "God, what happened to this town? I swear there used to be cute, maybe slightly attached guys here and now they're all fathers or boring. Or both." Usually she wasn't as open as she was now, but the alcohol had certainly loosened her up. @rahmipamuk

Anthony sat down after shaking the young woman's hand as she gestured to it. "It's nice to meet you, too." He returned the formality with a softened smile on her lips. "I am not from around here." He didn't think he had seen the woman around here before either in the last two years that he had been living in Kismet Harbor. "I moved here just over two years ago," he added to his original statement. "Are you from here?" His brow raised curiously in her direction. @cheyennehoffmann

"That explains it." She said with a grin, though he could've said that he moved there thirty years ago and it wouldn't have meant she knew he was back then either. "I am. I grew up here. I left for a bit, but officially back." Which was something she hated to say, but that's what it looked like more and more lately. "And how do you feel about Kismet Harbor so far? Is it somewhere you want to stay?" @anthonyxblake

Carmen nodded her head along to the woman's words. "Wow," she breathed, clearly impressed. Yet, how could she not be? "That's really incredible. I can only imagine how it feels to be on stage and fully immersed." Those projects were ones that Carmen had once dreamed over working on. There was a bit of envy, as she had settled into Kismet Harbor without a second thought after living in Vegas. "I'm sure you'll be back to it in no time. It's clear your passionate about it." @cheyennehoffmann

"It's truly an incredible feeling. One I miss every day." And she was aching to get back out there. She wanted it so bad, she felt like she was going to explode any day now. "Hopefully. It's been the only thing I've been passionate about for my entire life." She shook her head and looked at her watch. "I gotta hit the stage, though. I need to practice a bit or my mind will grow crazy. It was nice talking to you, Carver." She smiled and waved, walking away from the woman. @carmenxfontenelle

"Exactly. They need it sometimes. A lot of the kids we have in some of the classes...they don't have the easiest times, so it goes a long way," he nodded. He'd always worked hard to make sure his classes and programs were accessible to as many kids as possible and offered scholarships where he could to kids that otherwise couldn't afford it. His brows lifted at the answer, nodding along with a smile. "A good choice. I saw a few clips of you in it, you were brilliant. Cabaret, I think, was one of my favorites to be in. I'm a sucker for a classic. I base a lot of the shows we put on here on classic shows, change them up to be more age appropriate, but keep a lot of the same themes. It's fun."

She nodded as she listened to him. Truth be told, she had zero clue what any of the kids were going through. She was just focused on if they were good or not and that was it. She didn't want to get personal with the kids. After all, this was just temporary. "Right." She said with a nod just to show she was listening but also that she agreed, even she had no idea about any of it. When Alf said that he had seen a few clips of her on Broadway, her eyes widened and she was nervous about what else the man had seen. Did he see the last performance? The one that got her outcasted? "You have?" She asked, keeping her voice steady. "Cabaret is fun." Cheyenne took a breath and nervously pulled her hair up into a ponytail. "That makes sense. It's good for them to get a sense of the classics, though." @alfmorales

How Anthony got involved in speed dating in the first place had been beyond him. Had it been his brother's that encouraged him to get back out there? His growing attraction for a specific realtor in town? Regardless of how he got there, Anthony had answered his questions honestly to make sure that he had the best chance of being matched with someone suitable. As he arrived at the next table, he held up the card with the woman's name on it. She was already sitting there and he looked to the name and back to the woman. "Cheyenne?" He questioned, in case the last person had not moved on. "I'm Anthony." He held out his hand, introducing himself officially to her.

Cheyenne was on her phone between guys. She really thought this whole thing would help her funk in her hometown, but she was definitely questioning the quality of the men in town. She was complaining to a friend she still had in New York when she heard her name and looked up at a man as he stuck his hand out to her. "That's me." She said while putting her phone away and took his hand, putting on a smile. She may have been hating this, but she would never put that on. "Nice to meet you. Please, sit." She said and gestured to the seat across from her. "I haven't seen you around before so I'm going to assume you're not from Kismet Harbor, are you?" @anthonyxblake

The bell rang and the guy she had been talking to got up and moved on. A sigh left her lips and she rubbed her temple. Cheyenne was growing tired of this already and wondered what would happen if she got up and left. She was seriously debating it when another guy sat down in front of her. "I'm Cheyenne. Yes, I grew up here. Yes, I'm related to Ethan and Makayla. No, I don't want to see your comic book collection." She said, looking unamused back at the man.

Speed dating. Cheyenne really couldn't think of a more pathetic thing to do with her time, but as there were very little events in Kismet Harbor she actually liked. And maybe finding someone good looking enough to hook up with would be nice. She had gone through a few guys now when the bell rang again and there was a new person in front of her. "Well, hello there. I'm Cheyenne." She stuck her hand out for the man to shake.

He leaned forward on the balls of his feet, "you gotta actually stick around for that. Ya know instead of running off and away from things." He knew she had left town but didn't know too much of the minute details of why, nor why she had come back. At the ding of her phone, his eyes went to it and then back to his sister, his eyebrow arching ever so slightly with curiosity. "Whatever, just don't say I was an asshole and didn't offer any help," he shrugged before throwing the apple he finished into the trash can and then wiped his hands on the paper towel. "High school? Oh dear sister," He shook his head and took in a breath, "who had time for breakfast in high school? Well other than theatre nerds I guess." He smirked before shaking his head, "nah. Just incredibly confident in myself and my abilities," though he couldn't help but egg himself on and tease things with her. "Yes, Pearl, my dog. A German Shorthaired Pointer, the specks on her coat look like little pearls. But I guess you wouldn't like her would you." @cheyennehoffmann

She rolled her eyes at him. "I'm not running away from things." Which was a lie. She was running away from everything in New York, but she hoped that soon she'd be able to get back there. "I just knew I was too big for this small town." Cheyenne commented with a smirk. "Okay. I'll say you're an asshole for other reasons then." She slightly teased him then another roll of the eyes came his way. "I meant sneaking boys into the house, idiot. And for your information, you would've had time if you would've gotten up earlier." She thought for a moment and shook her head. "I don't recall. And probably not. I'm not a pet person." @olliehoffmann

She rolled her eyes. "You joke, but when I snap one day, you'll wish you had helped my sanity." She told him and sat back in seat of the car. Looking at Ethan, she gave him a look. "Of course I'm still serious about it. It's my life." She scoffed and looked out the window. "Not yet. They're just looking things over." She lied to him. There was no one looking anything over. Any call she made went to voicemail and emails went unreplied to. The no contact was killing her and she was getting scared she was going to be stuck in Kismet Harbor for the rest of her life. She put on a smile, though, and looked back at Ethan. "It's a whole process, but I know I'll hear soon." @ethanxhoffmann

He knew that her words were more a threat than they were anything else. He said nothing, thinning his lips as she sat back in the seat. "Right, sorry," Ethan let the words fall dryly from his mouth as he stared ahead. Fingers curled around the steering wheel with a tightened grip. "It sounds like something that could take a while." He said, as if he understood anything about it all. "Here's hoping. I know how much you like it, so I hope you hear back soon." @cheyennehoffmann

He didn't want to be at odds with his siblings but it was difficult when they'd been apart for so many years and she acted like they didn't exist at all. "Sounds like it is something you are still serious about." Ethan said with a nod of his head. "Have you heard anything back from them, yet?" He wasn't sure if Cheyenne sticking around was what anyone needed in the family and he knew it wasn't even what she wanted, so why put anyone through the trouble? @cheyennehoffmann

Cheyenne's reaction brought a loud guffaw of laughter out of Alf. Even if she covered it quickly, her gut reaction was, admittedly, exactly what his had been when he'd first read it. "A stretch in reality, but if you could have seen the faces of those kids when I read it to them after the show...I get why the journalist put it in there," he explained further. The kids were certainly no Broadway level production, but the fact that they felt like they had been was something Alf would never discount the value of. Propping the mop up, Alf leaned over against it, his eyes sparkling as he listed to Cheyenne talk about the stage. It was the spark he saw in her that made him willing to give her the chance at the theatre. If she could inspire just one of the kids to feel like that about the arts, it was all worth it for him. "Magic. That's the only way to describe it, if you ask me. I never got past a local theatre production myself, but even that you can feel the energy up on stage. Broadway, though, that's a whole other level. Do you have a favorite role of all the shows you've been in?"

Talking about how talented the kids were was one thing, but comparing them to Broadway standards just to make them feel good was something else. At least to her. Maybe because she was so passionate about it, which anyone could clearly see as she talked about it. "You can, but like you said, it's a whole other level." Cheyenne smiled. "There's so many. If I had to pick one, though, it would be The Last Five Years. Playing Cathy was just amazing." @alfmorales

He put his hands up, "very generous. But hey you haven't been around to relish in that generosity." If there was one person who would and could call him out on his bullshit, and he wouldn't immediately take offense to it, it was Cheyenne. He wouldn't take offense because he'd call her out right back. He looked around for a napkin or towel, grabbing one from the table and wiping his hand on it and then his mouth, nodding as he did. "Exactly, if you're not here long term then I wouldn't have a roommate for a while. I'd get a bigger and better place and then you wouldn't be around, it's a win-win. Plus you'd have a place to crash," he leaned on the counter, absentmindedly leaning forward. "Could always invite those men over to mommy and daddy's house ya know," he quipped before laughing, "no they don't. I usually do not refer to them as such. Usually there's not a lot of talking being done. Yes actually I do, and they usually have an amazing time and get some wonderful breakfast akfast out of it. Despite not wanting to be there or sure if she wanted to stay, she had been looking at buying a home. It was better than renting and when she left, she could just sell it or rent it out. Maybe turn it into an Airbnb for extra money. Looking at her brother, she put her phone away and shook her head. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm good." She told him before scrunching up her face. "Ew. this isn't high school." Cheyenne rolled her eyes. "God, you're full of yourself." Creasing her eyebrows, she looked at him. "Pearl?" @olliehoffmann
