★  WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?: so given spencer is an oc, i never had any pre-meditated ships for her. however, in a fan fiction concept for her, i always imagined she and tracer or she and mccree would have the potential for a really complex, dynamic relationship. 

★  WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?: anything that’s realistic for a relationship aside from sex as i don’t roleplay smut.

★  HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: for me personally, the muse can’t be younger than 18 and i’m not comfortable with, say spencer is 22, shipping her with someone in their late 50s/60s. 

★  ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: yes. i don’t like to toss spencer around for shipping since she is so much more than that. i would love for her to eventually develop ships but only through developed character relationships.

★  HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NS.FW?: once it extends past kissing. 

★  WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?: like i said, i’m open to anyone but i do have a fondness to mccree and tracer.

★  DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: absolutely. if the characters aren’t compatible with one another i’d rather have the opportunity to say so. chances are if i want to ship with you, i may bring it up in the tags or conversation.

★  HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?: i mean i like it to be a part of my interactions, but i also think other friendships and enemy interactions are important the same way they would be in real life.

WHAT  INSPIRED  YOU  TO  TAKE  ON  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE  ( THAT  YOU  ARE  POSTING  THIS  ON ): spencer as been a work in progress since i’ve started playing overwatch, so i think i was inspired most by the idea of creating a complex muse that had aspirations of being a hero without properly understanding why. spencer is grappling with this idea of protecting everyone but also herself and she can’t seem to find a balance. she’s easily scared and all of her fears and confusion she just represses instead of dealing with them. i love complicated characters.

WHAT  ARE  YOUR  FAVORITE  ASPECTS  OF  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE:  the hot pocket addiction and he protective nature.

WHAT’S  YOUR  BIGGEST  INSPIRATION  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  WRITING:  music for sure !!! but also ooc conversations about headcanons and plots.

FAVORITE  TYPES  OF  THREADS:  angst and fluff for sure. things that push muse development and for new aspects of relationships to form.

BIGGEST  STRUGGLE  IN  REGARDS  TO  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE:  oh boy. i would say spencer’s biggest struggle is allowing herself to develop friendships and real connections with her teammates. she wants to save as many people as she can and to do that she thinks she has to be devoted to her work. it’s hard not to categorize connections as distractions, things that could bias her from saving a teammate over a civilian.

1. W A R M T H

Spencer doesn’t sleep, at least, not very well. More often then not she’s restless in her bed, plagued by vague nightmares she can never remember clear enough to reflect on. For the longest time, she’d exit HQ to sit outside for hours by herself, settling into the chilly night until dawn. But every now and then she has company. 

Jesse doesn’t always make himself known. But more often then not, Spencer can tell he’s there to make sure if she’s okay, even if the time he lingers varies. Other times, he doesn’t mind stepping out and taking a seat besides her, unspoken words and appreciation between them. Those are the nights she will fall asleep and end up in her room the following morning without any recollection as to how. Those are the nights she sleeps easy, wishing she was brave enough to say thank you. 

2. L O Y A L T Y

Ever since the two were left to wait for extraction in that damn cave, there’s been a bond of unspoken loyalty between them. Whether it’s during a simulation or in the field, they have each other’s back. If she trips up during a mock mission, more often then not McCree’s there to step in and blame it on a blunder on his end that didn’t exist. 

In turn, if he’s careless during a real mission, Spencer is right behind him, shielding him from a spray of bullets he may have been blind to. And though a woman of few words, it works in both of their favors when she speaks up for him. That’s not to say mistakes that could result in death or the failure of a mission are excused – but minor things, slip ups that are’t jeopardizing the bigger picture, those they will cover for each other.
