Zeus: He is a fully grown adult. Also I don’t want one of those… *grimaces* things wandering around Olympus.

Poseidon: *offended* Excuse me? What’s wrong with a Kelpie?

Zeus: What isn’t wrong about anything that comes from your domain? Besides it will track water around everywhere! I already get that enough from you!

(Poseidon sneaks a Kelpie onto Olympus for Ares anyway)

Do you have a design of Demeters friend Hecate?? 👀

I don’t even have a Demeter or Hecate design so no sorry 😅

Honestly don’t know how many more designs I’ll make for this blog. Probably not too many more unless I get any inspiration.

I also don’t know much about Hecate tbh. I originally only wanted the big three for this blog (+ a little bit of Odysseus) and I still tend to focus on them the most

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH

I’ve been in a drawing slump so I couldn’t figure out what to draw other than this meme lol. Some of my moots have posted the sexualities of their gods so I wanted to do the same despite most of my gods not having set in stone preferences due to me shipping them with literally anyone. But I tried to throw something together.

As always, subject to change. And remember these are for my own personal versions of these characters.

Zeus: Pansexual

Not much of a surprise.

Poseidon: Pansexual + Genderflux

Also not a surprise. As for the Genderflux thing, I feel Poseidon likes to mess around with his gender. Especially when it has to do with a male lover of his. But it’s not just a mating thing, Po does take joy in simply being a lady sometimes. We can’t ignore the fact that he has gotten pregnant in the past.

Hades: Bisexual + Demisexual

Hades used to think he was straight, but recently found out that is not the case. To differentiate him from his brothers, Hades rarely beds anyone without having a strong connection to them first. He also has a low libido compared to the rest of the gods.

Hera: Pansexual

Not much to say here.

Athena: Aromantic + Lesbian

Athena has better things to do than enter a romantic relationship. She sees no value in it. But she isn’t immune to the occasional and fleeting attraction towards others. On the rare occasion it does happen, it’s usually with women. Athena understands the appeal but will not put another over her work.

Polyphemus: AroAce

Polyphemus lives a peaceful and simple life before Odysseus arrives. He just wants to live alone with his sheep. He’s not familiar with romance and intimacy and doesn’t want to be. Even if he did want such things, other’s have complained he’s both scary and intense.

Odysseus: Omnisexual

Odysseus is married to Penelope but also definitely had something going on with a certain soldier 👀

(Also my growing Hades x Odysseus mind lol)

Rhea: Straight

She was married to Kronos and still holds some love for him despite all he did. It’s strange. She knows she should hate him, and she does… but those emotions simply don’t disappear.

And Kronos is a hater (and possibly in the closet?? I think it’s a fun idea to play with)

Why don't Zeus and Hera divorce

Because they do, in their own strange way, love each other. Also Hera is stubborn and the goddess of marriage. Divorce is hardly in her vocabulary.

Trust me, they are far more affectionate behind closed doors. Zeus’s ego and pride settles down in the late hours of the evening, leaving a cuddle bug in its wake. Hera prefers to keep up appearances while in public, but she’s more than willing to soak up her husband’s affections in private. They end up tangled up together as they sleep, clinging to one another like it’s all they know. Zeus may wake up and play with her hair or give lazy kisses along her vitiligo marks. Hera tries to get him ready for the day, always the more responsible of the two.

What has Rhea been up to since the war?

She stays tucked away in here palace, practicing her hobbies and living in a peace she rarely knew when Kronos was in charge. Her kids leave her be for the most part, but on occasion they visit to bear gifts and kind words.

Her favorite hobbies include weaving elaborate and elegant tapestries and gardening. A few nymphs live with her and help upkeep everything, but only those handful. She has trust issues and also prefers her solitude.

Have you drawn Hades yet? What gods have you drawn??

Hii! No, I haven't gotten to drawing Hades/Pluto yet, but I do have an idea for what direction I want to go with

The gods I have drawn are Vesta/Hestia, Juno/Hera, Jupiter/Zeus, Ceres/Demeter, and Neptune/Poseidon. I haven't finished any of them yet, tho.

I'm considering making them look a bit more spacey-intergalactic-alienish in a way, but I'm unsure how to go about it

Working on a few portraits of my iteration of the Kronides, I'm playing around with a different and more simple style for fun. This is my progress on white armed and buxom Juno!

Her personality and voice, I imagine, are very similar to Beatrice Sugarman from Bojack Horseman

Poseidon, what's your relationship with Athena like after the whole Athens situation?

Not the best. These two glare daggers at each other every family meeting. Well, more so Poseidon does. Poseidon is very prideful, and to say his ego was bruised after the people refused his gift would be an understatement.

Athena tries to ignore Poseidon's pettiness, refusing to give into his childish ways. But Poseidon likes to make his grievances known. And Athena will defend her title if it is brought into question.

At the end of the day, they're still family and care for each other. But the two are very reluctant to hang out in close proximity to without throwing in some snarky comments.

Poseidon: That little brat dared to go up against me. And worst of all, those ignorant mortals chose her! Unbelievable.

Athena: *under her breath* You're never going to let that go, huh?

who would like dinosaurs the most

Definitely Hades. He admires the fossils he finds in the underworld. Even when he was young and such creatures roamed the earth, he found their giant nature fascinating! Reminded him of he titans (before the whole Kronos incident that soured that perspective of titans).

Poseidon also admires a few dinosaurs, mostly the aquatic ones. They remind him of the sea monsters he adores in present day.

Everyone else is pretty neutral on them or they don't care much for dinos.
