Fili is an old vampire that has seen and lived through many things. It plays a large role in his expansive personality. Fili is extremely sarcastic with dark outlooks on life and a strict ‘you only live once’ attitude. Despite being totally apathetic, Fili has a keen ability for reading people’s emotions; especially for someone who cannot express his own. Fili is very loyal and protective of those he considers family and friends. Out of his entire vampire family, Fili feels as though he is the most grounded and normal of them all. Whether it is with his dark logic or blunt words, Fili is finding it harder to make new friends and keep jobs without upsetting someone. This is also why Fili has been a trader, keeper, guardian, and instructor at Hema Academy but has always been kicked out of his positions.
Fili is a firm believer of being superior and loves to use his strengths against those who are inferior. He is always learning new things and keeping up to date with the world. He has 37 bachelor’s degrees, 22 master’s degrees, 9 Ph.D.’s and speaks over 50 languages. One of the only things that sets him apart from other vampires is his frugal ways. Fili, despite having one of the bigger rooms in the groundscraper, enjoys the bare minimum. Fili was not born to a rich family, Getta and Winona did try to spoil everyone they turned but Fili personally dislikes prissy rich people that are very arrogant and rude. He enjoys his sense of privacy and independence despite his inability to effectively function on his own; he needs companionship to keep from going depressed or suffering from pure boredom. Richard goes by his last name Fili. People who are not family think it is his legal first name.

Ricardo Richard Cortilli (Father): Ricardo was an asshole that fell dunken into the bay and was never seen again. Leaving Fili and his mother to fend for themselves.
Mrs. Cortilli (Mother): Fili only ever called his mother ma'am or mother and he does not remember much more about her. One day she did not come home from the market when Fili was around 17 years old. He continued on with his life in their cabin until the day he decided his life was not really a life worth living.

Romantic Connections:
Nathan Cleirigh (Interest): Nathan and Fili went on a few dates.. In multiple different decades. Some would call what they have a on and off again relationship but Fili is unsure. Wanting something more out of life, he is ready to start over again with Nathan but is unsure of how the warlock will receive him this time around. Fili thinks Nathan may be the one but the warlock is avoiding him like a plague.
Platonic Connections:
Winona Fili (Maker/Sire): Winona and Richard met when Richard was around 34 years old, outside of Rome. He was preparing to take his own life; fatherless, motherless, wifeless, kidless and jobless. He had nothing to live for and Winona talked him down. She introduced him to the supernatural world and later on offered to change him. He accepted, took her last name and left his past life as Richard behind. Winona gave Fili everything he never knew he wanted. Her death was tragic and has brought back countless bad memories and worthlessness.
Scorpius Getta (Vampire Grandpa): Getta has always been accepting of Fili and even fatherly at times. Getta always brought a smile and sass into the room, lighting it up. Getta puts up with Fili’s bullshit, only getting pissed if Fili messes up big time, that is enough to make Fili grateful and undeniably loyal. Fili has noticed that the older gentleman has been keeping himself busy and staring off into space since Winona’s death; it is making Fili worry.
Raphael Caron (Vampire Uncle): Fili remembers how sickly Raphael once was and the pity that filled him for the young gentlemen. When Raphael had enough control over his thirst, Fili made sure to introduce him to everything he was unable to do as a sick human. Raphael is one of his few travelling companions.
Fiona ‘Fi’ Marz (Vampire Aunt): Fi and Fili have what some would call a strange relationship. They have both been around for a long time and agreed that being in each other’s presence for more than a certain amount of time is destructive for the both of them. He appreciates that they can be attached at the hip for weeks then the following smile at each other from across the hallway and keep it moving. These times dependency of each other varies from days, weeks, months and years.
Aleksander Mazur (Vampire Uncle): Fili is older than Aleksander and sees him more as a brother and good friend. They have fun and party a lot together. Fili has never pulled rank or age on Aleksander and never plans to in the future.
Dan Prior (Vampire Would-Be-Father): Winona and Dan were a surprise. Winona never showed interest in settling down romantically, especially for someone who was over a thousand years old. When Winona started showing an interest in Dan and brought him home, everyone knew he was special and that he must have been the one. Fili was starting to accept the fact that Dan would be younger than himself and be considered his father as his maker’s mate, when tragedy struck.
Hostile Connections:
Sadie McCoy (Annoyed): For the past hundred years, Sadie has made Fili’s life hell. Sadie is continuously tossing rules in Fili’s face that either were not around when he existed or he helped put in place. She is currently pushing for him to retire completely and it is taking all of Fili’s strength and respect to not kill her.
Petra Chek (One-Sided Dislike): Petra calls him a threat and is openly snippy with him. She believes that he is sometimes so self destructive that he becomes destructive to the seethe as a whole. When that happens Petra can no longer see him as a friend but a threat. Fili could not care any less and tosses back whatever energy she is showing him when they bump into each other; which is often.

→ His Connections
Parent Names:
Sterling Thompson (Father): Sterling was one of the original Board Members. He was the last one standing between Garland Fields and the leadership position. He lost, and the shame followed him the rest of his life. Behind closed doors, Sterling preached to Sam about the importance of taking Chicago back and made Sam promise to continue their legacy the night he died. Sam wants to live up to all of his father’s hopes.
Charlotte Thompson (Mother): Charlotte was a good mother and was alive long enough to see Rhett born. She cared about Sam and wanted him to live his life for himself, not Sterling. She often calmed him down whenever his anger would get the best of him.
Sibling Names:
None
Children Names:
Rhett Thompson (Son): Rhett is 12 going on 30. He reminds Sam a lot of himself growing up. It is Rhett’s first year in middle school, he has taken up football and golfing while keeping his grades up. Sam is very proud and excited for his son.
Delilah ‘Dee’ Thomson (Daughter): Delilah has just turned 10 years old and is Ford’s twin sister. It was a long and hard process for Dee, giving up having Rhett in the same school, making it a tougher transition year for Sam. Dee is naturally curious and nearly drove Sam insane asking for her mother when Mattie was killed. She reminds him too much of Mattie. If it wasn’t for Patrick, Sam doesn’t think he could be the father she needed at the time. She loves her Uncle Pat.
Ford Thompson (Son): Ford has just turned 10 years old and is Delilah’s twin brother. Ford has always been easier to deal with. Delilah has always been more outspoken while Ford stood back and watched the room. Ford prefers to sit in a corner and read all day. Sam usually has to drag him away from his book and is regretting replacing one of their hallway closets for a miniature library.
Savannah Thompson (Daughter): Savannah is Sam’s little angel and is currently 8 and a half years old. Sam wants nothing but the best for all of his children but he worries about Savannah sometimes. She is sweet and innocent, all rainbow, unicorns and butterflies but Sam doesn’t have the heart to give her a reality check.
Jasper Thompson (Son): Jasper was barely walking or talking when Mattie was taken from them. Jason remained shifted for weeks as if he felt her being taken from them. It took time and patience for Jasper to change back but Sam’s smiling toddler never returned. Nearly four years later and starting Elementary school, Jasper is the most aggressive and dangerous child Sam has ever met. He had to remove him out of his classes just two weeks in to start homeschooling him.
Romantic Connections:
Mattie Thompson (Late Wife): Life is cruel and Sam has always known that but when he met Mattie, he believed his world was changing for the best. It was everything Sam joked and teased other members of his pack that were mated about. At one point Sam lost all interest in challenging Clara. Mattie was young but she loved him and they were married quickly. She even blessed him with a son within a year of their marriage, twins two years laters, and two more within the span of five years. Unfortunately, Mattie only ever felt comfortable in her shifted form when pregnant, and developed a case of hypershift extraordinarily young. Sam had barely come to terms with it when the other Board Members ordered her to be put down. The only one who tried to stand with him was Eliza, but they were ultimately overruled by the others and the law. Clara ultimately fulfilled the sentence and killed her 4 years ago. Sam has had to pour all his love for Mattie into their children in order to keep hanging on.
Platonic Connections:
Patrick Perry (Best Friend): Patrick has been a good friend of his for decades, and is like an uncle to his kids. They hang out nearly every weekend as well as every holiday, and he considers him to be his closest confidante. It was Patrick who stopped him from attacking Clara after Mattie’s death and the one who has kept him pushing through. His kids refer to Patrick as Uncle Pat.
Eliza Meyers (Good Friend): Eliza has consistently been the only one in his corner. She was close to Mattie and introduced the two, and he doesn’t know where his life would have been without her. They work together in real estate and in the boardroom, playing off of one another’s strengths and supporting the other’s weaknesses. His kids refer to Eliza as Auntie El or Aunt Eliza.
Taye Black (Friend): Taye has a no nonsense personality that Sam enjoys. Taye can easily drop friendships and fire personnel without a blink of an eye; which Sam admires. They both share the job as clan heavies liaison. While Sam deals with the local supernatural clans, Taye focuses on finding and placing matches for endangered heavies or for those who are willing to have hybrids.
Asa Fields (Old Friend): Asa and Sam grew up as brothers, and stayed like that. He never seemed to have the same issues with Asa as he did Clara, despite them being raised the same. However, he does think Asa has no claim to any council seat, or at least not a legitimate one. He’s hoping that by getting Asa to attempt to overthrow his sister, he’d willingly hand off the responsibilities of head to Sam, and live out the rest of his life doing whatever. Sam is trying to gauge how the relationship is between the two to see if that’d work.
Latasha Mist (Friend): Sam is supportive of Cece and Latasha’s change and sees the advantages of having them on their side. He has tried to come up with multiple solutions that wouldn’t result in their deaths but has yet to find one.
Cecilia ‘Cece’ Mist (Friend): Sam has been supportive of Cece’s change, even before her mother offered millions of dollars for the change. The couple has been together for over three year and the entire pack knows of their relationship. Sam believes further delay of the inevitable is bad for their entire clan and other local supernatural clans.
Jalen Martinez (Friendly): Sam thinks that Jalen has made a great choice by choosing Cece. While Sam communicates with Cece and Latasha more, Jalen has his full support. The couple has been together for over three year and the entire pack knows of their relationship. Sam believes further delay of the inevitable is bad for their entire clan and other local supernatural clans.
Ellis Watts (Old Friend): Sam and Ellis used to party hard in the 20s together. Ellis had a wild streak and the two would race cars, bikes, and boats with one another. They’ve still maintained the friendliness, though both have grown up.
Percy McCormick III (Old Acquaintance): Percy grew up around the same time as Clara, Sam, and Asa. Even back then he had a knack of trying to trick the three of them with lies. His dad always had the biggest and best of everything, and their clan always seemed to be growing. Sam and Asa ditched him quickly as they grew up, but Clara tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. He’s done alright for himself, and Sam speaks to him as a liaison now.
Sol Alfaro (Old Friend): Sol shares many of his frustrations with his own clan head, and he has been girding himself to challenge Isaac again.
Michael Shaw (Acquaintance): They often hit the gym together on weekends.
Hostile Connections:
Clara Fields (Hate): Clara and Sam grew up like siblings; both nearly the same age and constantly around one another. However, as they grew up the differences between the Fields and Sterlings became obvious. The Fields had best picks of lands and businesses and were starting to make their money hand over fists. They also had final say on every issue, as was mandated by the agreement, and were using it to their benefit. Eventually the wealth of the Fields began to trickle down to them until they were in as good of a position, and Sterling forced a vote to create joint businesses, whose money was pooled and equally distributed to the Board Members. Things began to settle into something comfortable and profitable for all when Garland kicked the bucket. Sterling and the other leaders assumed it was finally his time, but Clara took up the helm and snatched power before anyone else could call for a fair fight. Sterling died not too long after from Hypershift and Sam took his spot. Then started the constant back and forth between the two of them. Always, always opposed, Clara and Sam began a dance of intrigue and backstabbing, trying to get the other to falter. Then the economy collapsed and Real Estate died in its tracks. Clara and the rest of them were bleeding money and had no place to turn. She thought of the vampires and came back with an offer of their blood. Initially they all refused, but had no other options. Either let their clan dissolve or sacrifice what they needed to. He was the first person to stand behind her and support the call. He regrets it to this day, and it’s his main reason for wanting her out of the Leader’s seat. He has been working for decades to plant seeds of doubt into the various members of their clan, so when he takes over it’s well received.
Michael Johansen (Hate): Michael was the leader of the Alaska clan who merged with their clan a few months ago. Their numbers were too low to sustain themselves and the Chicago clan was the only one that had the most potential matches. As soon as Sam met Michael, he had an air around him that reminded him of Clara’s father, Garland Fields. Sam has been on defense around him and doesn’t trust Michael one bit.
Scorpius Getta (Hate): Scorpius Getta made a blood deal with them in exchange for money during the Great Recession. They needed to stay afloat so the entire Board agreed to it. They assumed they could pay him back the loan with interest, but he just wants money. In his dreams, Sam kills Getta and all his cronies.
Petra Chak (Hate): She enjoys the humiliation of the board members as they go down to have their blood drained. She’d be the one he’d kill if he had a chance to, after Getta.
Ezra Schultz (Hate): He expected Ezra to be on his side, and was shocked that he ruled to have her killed. His archaic ideas of “justness” are ridiculous and shouldn’t be used when lives are at stake.
Hollis Sony (Hate): Hollis stabbed him in the back when she voted that Mattie had to die. She’d always been on Clara’s side and he thought she might have sympathy for him, but was proven very wrong. He’ll never forgive her.

Clan Nimble always puts their best foot forward. Nimbles are known for being the true peace keepers of the Animal shifters. They often act as the final deciding factor between split sides during animal council meetings and are well respected for their fairness. They are shifters with small forms who do not fit into any other clan: mink, stoat, wolverine, fox, etc. And their small stature, the smallest outside of the Rats, allows the larger animals to let down their guard and trust them. This willingness to cover everyone’s tracks is another reason why they get along with so many of the supernatural. However, Nimbles, by nature, often do not get along well with one another. Their grouping of animals contains one of the widest ranges, and often a typical prey animal may have to share a pack with its predator. This has led to a culture of rejection and dismissal of shifters seeking to join a pack based on species. There is generally major prejudice in packs, and predators and prey rarely mix. Close minded and bigoted ideas are thrown about by both sides and reconciling is generally seen as a foolish idea. It is very common to see changed and born nimbles. There is a nasty habit inside the Nimble community in which non consensual bites are freely allowed. Since they are separated by predator and prey, and have smaller numbers than if they were combined, many believe it is only right to change whoever they can. Many of their changes survive, and thus they have decent sized populations. Nimbles, in the interest of utmost fairness, are ruled by a group of three shifters, or triumvirate: one member voices the majority opinion, one the minority, and one the outside opinion. Usually the member who represents the outside authority is also the one who acts as a representative to the clan.

Miles is a hard character to place and understand. He seems to have a wide array of personalities mixed in one, which can be explained by his experience with the Hypershift. He is self-contained and doesn’t typically use strong emotions to show what he is feeling. He generally feels uncomfortable around outbursts of emotions. He doesn’t talk about his feelings, but he will act on them and show people how he feels instead of telling them. Miles prefers to keep his thought process to himself. He never brings up the past, whether it’s his or someone else’s, and never relies on people’s personal or historical experiences to tell him who they really are.
Miles is comfortable adapting to the environment and responding to the situation as it changes. He tends to blend into the background when stronger or louder personalities are in the same room. His silent strength however plays very well with the often overly expressive Cats in his pack. Hidden below the calm layer is that same zealous energy that he only allows out during schedule runs with the pack. He’s become known as an impartial calm judge in any arguments that might happen in the pack.

Parent Names:
Roseline King (Mother): She was a fiercely protective mother and taught the boys how to fight for themselves. Her tenacity was up until the very end as Hunter blood was sprayed all around her, she got one last fight in before she died.
Emmanuel King (Father): Miles’s father was a quiet man. He and his brothers were rarely not butting heads with their father’s quiet and gentle behavior. As Miles has grown and reflected, he wonders what his father might think of him today. And if after the hypershift he became the person his father wanted him to be.
Sibling Names:
Arthur King (Triplet): He and Arthur are close, but not like they used to be. They split off after Henry was killed, only meeting up every so often. Arthur tried to settle down once, but the pack kicked him out once they heard of his hypershift. He’s been alone ever since, and has warned Miles that the same thing might happen to him.
Henry King (Triplet): Henry died almost 70 years ago. He couldn’t control his shift anymore and the New Orleans alpha had to kill him. Miles has been scarred ever since that day, and uses it as a motivation to stay in control.
Children Names:

Romantic Connections:
Malia Agyeman (Mate and Wife): M² have been together for 5 years but finally married at the beginning of 2019. Miles’ soft spoken nature is a stark contrast to Malia’s strong and outgoing nature, but he is always there to support her in her endeavors.
Platonic Connections:
Noel Crais (Good Friend): At first Miles was unsure about Noel mothering him or showing him genuine concern. She grew on him when she learned to speak Creole and about his culture. While Mile doesn’t appreciate her knowing looks but he does appreciate her not telling whatever it is she thinks she knows.
Kayla Silvestre (Friendly): Miles has tried to become a resource for Kayla as her dad goes into hypershift. He knows the long painful road ahead of the whole family, whether her dad pulls out of it or not, and he hopes he can ease some of that pain for her.
Esther Yoo (Close Friend): By default of Esther being Malia’s best friend, she’s somewhat become his as well. Esther serves as a good mediator when M² is fighting and is the only other person who excels at talking Malia down.
Rebecka Blake (Acquaintance): Rebecka has been trying to plan a hybrid class between history and English. He’s interested, but the planning is taking longer than he expected.
Roy Allen (Friend): Miles finds Roy a calming presence. There never seems to be an expectation from him and he is a good centering point when Miles feels overwhelmed with his secret.
Hostile Connections:
Rhett Colt (Hate): Rhett Colt was the one hunter who escaped after killing his parents. He sees taking a Colt daughter’s arm as revenge.
Churchill Darling (Annoyance): Churchill stole his face a few months after he came to town. His pack members generally can tell, but Malia has taken to punching Church when she thinks he has stolen his face and he’s been punched quite a few times by his wife on accident.
Ben Miller (Dislikes): He and Ben have had some altercations in the past, especially right when he joined. He’s found it’s better to steer clear of the liger to not trigger an unwanted change.

→ History
Miles and his family immigrated from Haiti to the United States during his early childhood. Miles was 3 years old. They spent some time in Florida as crop laborers/farm workers but eventually worked their way up to Georgia then to New Orleans. His father worked as a seasonal framhand and his mother worked as a maid. His family soon met up with the local pack and they settled in. Eventually people began noticing his parents didn’t age. Some accused them of being witches, or of hiring one to keep them young. The townspeople became so riled up that Buford Colt caught wind, all the way up in Jackson, Mississippi. He came down with his sons and they went hunting for witches. Instead, however, they found the cats. Roseline and Emmanuel sent their sons away to get the alpha when they heard the news of a hunter in town. When their sons returned, they had already been killed. Their alpha and the local seethe quickly killed Buford and most of his sons, except for one.
Miles and two brothers quickly became reckless without their parents warnings. They were angry and in mourning and they took to running off their pain. The triplets would go on long runs, sometimes gone for days at a time in their shift. Their alpha told them to slow down, but they had already become too aggressive to really control. It was at this point any warnings were given up, and they were told to just not kill anyone in New Orleans. A few months later Miles, Arthur, and Henry woke up in Texas, next to a man who’d been mauled to death. They buried him, and realized it had gone too far. Their alpha hadn’t mentioned anything when they’d come back, but a part of Miles wondered if he knew. The brothers immediately stopped shifting, but it wasn’t a smooth process. Miles broke down once or twice, but managed to stop shifting for a year, Arthur figured it out a few months after Miles, but Henry succumbed to the Hypershift, and was killed the following year. That almost triggered both Miles and Arthur to begin shifting again, and they had to move away from the town. It was then that Miles began journaling, to keep his temper and cat under control. It was the only way that he could process those emotions. The two remaining King brothers moved to Atlanta the following year, and then split apart. Miles spent decades travelling around in his human form, until finally he made his way to Chicago. There he finally met a pack likable enough to stay.
→ The Present
Miles always thought his years spent in hypershift killed off any chance of romance or a family for him. He’d stayed out of the way of most cat shifters to avoid anything that would trigger him losing control again. He expected he’d act the same again in Chicago, but found something that clicked. Especially when he saw Malia cornered that night. It’d been one of the few times Miles had run with the pack and he wondered how that particular bit of luck worked out. He is truly in awe of Malia, and he’s even more in awe that he gets to be her husband. Her tenacity and strength and intelligence has brought a new vibrance to Miles that he wasn’t sure he’d get again without the use of a shift. Miles and Malia are both trying to figure out how to balance everything. Malia put things on pause for them and their wedding and Miles wants to show her that he appreciated what she did and knew the sacrifice she made for them.
Miles has yet to tell anyone about his past, except for Kayla. Not even Malia. He knows what animal shifters and specifically the Chicago pack think of those who have gone into hypershift and he worries about how it would affect his relationship with all of them. Arthur warned him against it the last time he visited, reminded him why they didn’t do packs. Especially not judgemental ones. He’s been dragging this secret around for almost a century, and when he finally could at least somewhat talk about it with Kayla, he felt a little freer. He’s debating telling Malia now, hoping it doesn’t ruin everything they’ve worked so hard to maintain and grow.
A human shifter is a supernatural that can copy another human or supernatural’s body. This transformation is not limited to a similar body size, shape, or sex. When mimicking a person, they literally become the person they’re mimicking, gaining everything, including fingerprints and DNA; they can also mimic wounds and scars. Human shifters copy faces and bodies by studying the features of it. To enhance their understanding of those they change into, human shifters can copy full memories of the forms they change into. To gain those memories, the human shifter would need to drink a drop of the intended form’s blood. Those who are older and more experienced may be able to do this quickly without much thought, younger shifters may need to study a person for a longer amount of time. Although it is a very rare ability, human shifters may be able to cobble faces together from various memories into a brand new face. Those faces take practice, and when beginning may look disconcerting as they don’t yet have the practice of what makes a human look human. Human shifters remember every face they wear and can keep it as an easy to assemble disguise. Despite being able to pull on many faces, human shifters typically keep a repertoire of faces that they use to establish relationships, jobs, or even homes in their day to day lives.
In addition to stealing or creating entire new identities, human shifters possess the ability to change minute parts of their appearance, at will, with no reference needed. These attributes include eye color, hair color, hair length, and so on. Human shifters generally have a preference or motivation when choosing faces. Some prefer one race, gender, or age, while others attempt to create a wide variety of faces from a young sweet faced child to an older gentleman. This is typically in line with the Family they grew up with, though it may be whatever they feel most comfortable in.

Platonic Connections:
Austin Semler (Good Friend): Austin is a coyote and Anton feels at ease around him. Anton was raised in a pack of coywolves and is not used to having a variety of species in one clan. The simplicity of Mano’s, Seth’s or Austin’s scents are enough to calm Anton down and make him feel at home. Austin has extended himself to the max by introducing Anton to his friends, both supernatural and human; inviting Anton out to either school functions or general supernatural parties or events. Austin has also started providing pictures for his journaling/stories.
Emmanuel ‘Mano’ Flores (Good Friend): Mano is a coyote and Anton feels at ease around him. Anton was raised in a pack of coywolves and is not used to having a variety of species in one clan. The simplicity of Mano’s, Seth’s or Austin’s scents are enough to calm Anton down and make him feel at home.
Seth Allen (Old Friend): Anton is glad to see Seth in town and is thinking of extending his friendship. Anton is from the same city in Oklahoma as Seth. They attended the same schools and functions and friend groups but never really hung out one on one. The simplicity of Mano’s, Seth’s or Austin’s scents are enough to calm Anton down and make him feel at home. He’s already pulled Seth aside asking him to keep his name change and past in the past.
Tim Boaz (Friend): Anton was friends with one or two foxes before but he has never met anyone like the Boaz twins. He prides himself in being able to easily pick them out and find them entertaining. They have never crossed him and Anton is giving them the benefit of doubt but he is also keeping a close eye on them.
Lee Boaz (Friend): Anton was friends with one or two foxes before but he has never met anyone like the Boaz twins. He prides himself in being able to easily pick them out and find them entertaining. They have never crossed him and Anton is giving them the benefit of doubt but he is also keeping a close eye on them.
Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Snow (Friend): Anton was raised in a pack of coywolves and is not used to having a variety of species in one clan. Especially one as small as a mink. Liz is independent, outgoing and pleasant to be around but Anton is unsure whether to invite her out to a party or eat her instead.
Simon Brodeur (New Friend): Simon is a downer but Anton feels for him. Anton tries not to freak him out but casually touches his arm, hand or neck whenever he is near to ensure that Simon isn’t touch starved. Coming from an affectionate pack, Anton is weirded out by the lack of attention Simon is getting and wonders if he would be against a puppy pile with Anton, Seth, Austin and Mano. Anton plans on asking him out for drinks or a general outing sometime soon.
Shannon Harris (Friendly): Seth introduced Anton to his entire pack but Shannon stood out the most. She reminded him of his mom and both grandmothers rolled into one. His clan wasn’t more than a couple of hundred coywolves with a few wolves and coyotes but they functioned exactly like the Chicago Jackals; except they changed more often or were shifted for months on end.
Percival “Percy” McCormick III (Acquaintance): Anton doesn’t do well with authority figures and has tried his best to stay away from Percy. He doesn’t personally know Percy besides what rumors and gossip he has heard nor does Anton care to try to get to know him.
Isla Johns (Unsure): Anton was raised in a pack of coywolves and is not used to having a variety of species in one clan. Especially one as small as a raccoon. Isla is pretty, nice and sweet but Anton is unsure whether to invite her over for dinner or eat her instead. Isla and all other smaller nimbles are the main reason Anton is debating joining the local wolves instead.

Platonic Connections:
Roman Cleirigh (Mentor): Bill mentored under Roman multiple times. Mostly to explore his curiosity of evocators and to be closer to Lyra.
Ronan Cleirigh (Mentor): They share the same power and Bill believes Ronan was the key to unlocking his full potential. They are still on speaking terms and Bill often seeks him out for guidance. Ronan has recently offered him the Cleirigh name and Bill is debating on whether he should take it or not.
Judson Cleirigh (Friend): Bill, Judson and Patch are great friends. People often complain that the three are a little too close and dependent on each other.

Ethan Cleirigh (Friendly): Ethan had always shared pleasantries with him. Bill was surprised when Ethan moved in with Roman but asked no questions.
Audo Wilhelm (Friendly): Bill and Audo mentored under Ronan. They got along well and Bill has confided in him that his parents hated and mistreated him for being a necromancer; including why he truly and randomly left for 10 years long ago. They have also started a business together.
Emmett Wilhelm (Friendly): Bill had once thought about becoming a liaison. He and Emmett sat down and had a long talk. They’ve been friendly ever since.
Hostile Connections:
Billy (Annoyance): Billy swears up and down that Bill stole his name and is trying to steal his role as Roman’s number one. Bill, however, absolutely adores him but he is slightly becoming an annoyance.
Justin (Annoyance): Justin told everyone Bill used his powers to make him do something that pissed Roman off last year. Bill swore up and down that he didn’t but Justin still blames him. While Roman attitude didn’t change towards him he hates the questioning glances he gets every now and again. Justin is on his shitlist.

→ History
Bill’s parents were never really interested in him beyond childhood. He was raised in a family of witches who were all blessed with arcane powers. Between his grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, great-uncles, great-aunts, and sister, they completely had all of the arcane powers within their family. That is all expect evocation and necromancy. Bill was sure that him being the first necromancer in their family was one of the reasons why his parents barely paid attention to him. What they really cared most about was fighting over who had the rights to name their mark. It’s been going on for centuries and none of them can agree. Their mark was pretty young with the oldest member being Bill’s maternal grandfather, William, at the age of 588. William had Bill’s mom pretty young from a witch standpoint and Bill’s mom had him even younger. The same said for Bill’s paternal side of the family. His paternal grandfather is 573, followed closely by Bill’s father who is 549. With both his maternal and paternal grandparents in a battle over their marks, Bill is embarrassed by their antics and childishness.
Bill was born and raised in Canada. He was months old when his parents took him to Ronan Cleirigh, the only other necromancy on their side of the hemisphere, for help. Apparently every time he cried or threw a fit, food and plants within the house died. That’s how it was for 80 years of his life. Every time he slipped or something died, he was sent to Ronan for the week as punishment. It wasn’t exactly a punishment because he enjoyed the whole family and even began mentoring under Roman, Ronan’s younger brother too. Before he mentored, he had mistakenly summoned a spirit which Roman later helped him with. Since then, Bill has had an unending interest in spirits and evocation. His bliss with the Cleirigh family was cut short when his parents forced him to move to Europe. He nearly stayed and asked the Council to place him fully under the care of his mentor but he was already gone. At the age of 12, Bill’s parents had an illegal procedure performed to remove his heart for safe keeping, against Ronan warnings that Bill should be the one to keep hold of it, Bill allowed his parents to keep it for him. One squeeze was enough to have him teleporting across the country in seconds. He knew better than to tell the Cleirigh family what had happened and kept it away from them and his friends. It took Bill 10 years to get his heart back but only 3 seconds to teleport back to his real family and friends. He plans on keeping his family secret since it is enough for the council to have their entire line killed; muchless what Ronan and Roman would do to them.
Bill has been with the Cleirigh family for his whole life besides the 10 years he forcefully spent in London. Bill enjoyed his studies with his former mentor in London but found himself struggling with Undead Manipulation. It was then that Billy knew that returning to Chicago with both Ronan and Roman readily available to him was the best course of action. Or so that is the story he is going with. That would also help with his research and the academic book he’s been working on. Evocationers were originally mistaken for Necromancers, and used to be classified as the same powers, until tests and long term experiments showed they were different. Bill still sees connections between their powers, being one of the few that deal with the living and the dead, he is trying to draw the connections between the two once again. When he was younger his parents randomly made an off handed comment that he should write a book and that is exactly what he is doing.
→ The Present
Besides writing and working, Bill has started on his Doctor of Medicine degree. While he did attend schooling back in the 1800’s, he was a physician and considered a surgeon but that was nearly 200 years ago. Bill has found himself struggling with modern medicine. Returning to school seemed like a good idea.
Bill has also started a business with Audo helping people reach their departed ones. It’s the first time Bill has ever done something like this before and is looking forward to what it holds for them both. In between handling his course work, finishing his book/research and working, Bill has been trying to keep up with Lyra, his mate. Bill’s parents were not exactly great relationship models but he had Ronan and Isthar and Garrett and Jia good examples. Bill hasn’t had a serious relationship with anyone else besides Lyra; he is giving her all his attention and care.

Two Hobbies: Reading and Organizing
Three Positive Traits: Adaptable, Eloquent, Collected

→ His/Her Connections
Parent Names:
Jon Owens (Father): Jon worked as a plumber in Chicago at the turn of the century. He spent much of his time with his sons growing up, wanting to teach them a trade. However, once she was out of college and married they began to become closer. And when she had Shannon and Zelda he was there at her house everyday to watch them.
Natasha Owens (Mother): Sarah gets much of her put together nature from her mother. Despite having 8 kids in 10 years, every single child was dressed and presentable no matter where they went. She also went back and got a degree in accounting when the Watts were giving out scholarships to pack members. She is the head of the budgetary committee in Chicago currently, as well as assisting in organizing the pack finances.
Sibling Names:
Miranda Kuhler nee Owens (Sister): Miranda is the oldest sibling in the family, and the only one older than Sarah. She married At 18, very young for even a jackal, to a man a few years older than her. He had a stake in her father’s plumbing business, but when the wolves moved to town and forced the Jackals from those jobs he, and as a result Miranda, moved away. Though they’re only in Milwaukee, it feels hundreds of miles away. They still talk and Miranda comes down to visit, even though her husband does not.
Bruce Owens (Brother): Bruce also left Chicago for Milwaukee, and started up a business with Miranda’s husband. He held a lot of hatred towards Ellis III for shifting the pack’s focus to education and away from the trades. He accused Zack and Sarah of betraying the family business and they haven’t spoken in decades.
Wade Owens (Brother): Wade just recently became a grandfather for the first time, and has been discussing moving to be closer to them in Denver. Sarah doesn’t really want him to go, but she understands that desire.
Lee Owens (Brother): Lee is the head of the Water Department for Chicago. He works with Zelda, and was the one who got her a job there. He used to give her updates on how she was doing, but eventually said she was meddling and stopped. He and his wife’s youngest just graduated from high school and his oldest is getting married this year.
Dana Owens (Sister): Dana is the sister that Sarah is closest to. They see each other at least once a week and talk almost every day. Dana works as the City Treasurer and has been helping guide Shannon and Vee in the election process.
Felicity Meyers-Owens (Sister): Felicity recently got married, and is only now starting her family. She has been coming to Sarah a lot for advice, as well as babysitting, and it’s given her a second wind of baby fever.
Angelica Owens (Sister): Angelica hasn’t married or had any children. She left for almost 20 years travelling, but has been back for equally as long. Sarah has considered asking why, but she has seen her reaction to Felicity and Natasha’s questions and has refrained.
Children Names:
Shannon Harris (Daughter): Shannon’s made it clear that she wants to follow in Sarah’s footsteps career and pack leadership wise. Which is something Sarah loves and is incredibly proud of. As a first time mother, Sarah gave Shannon everything she had and wanted her to have a better life; she pushed her to know college and a successful career was what she was destined for. Despite having similar personalities, they do not clash as many people initially thought they would. They listen to each other, honor boundaries, emotionally support each other, respect each other’s differences and similarities. Sarah has been trying to give Shannon more freedom and space since Zack and Ellis both pointed out how their mother/daughter relationship is turning more into a friendship and that Shannon seems somewhat dependent on having Sarah in her life.
Zelda Harris (Daughter): Zelda has always walked her own path, despite the best of Sarah’s efforts. They’d always had the tendency to fight, but it didn’t hit the breaking point until Zelda decided not to go to college. That fight showed her just how close her youngest was to leaving their pack and family forever. She bent and allowed her to go straight to a position in the Water department and backed off on her expectations. Their relationship is still strained, but Sarah loves her daughters more than anything and just wants to see them be successful.
Romantic Connections:
Zekharyah Harris (Husband): Zack is the man of Sarah’s dreams. They grew up together in Chicago, attended the same schools and even shared the same friend group. Their romantic relationship did not kick off until middle school when Sarah broke her leg, falling off a cliff while shifted, during a pack outing. Zack had volunteered to carry her back home. It did not take long for them to become serious and eventually join their two families. Their relationship is built on a strong spiritual and intellectual bond, aided by their friendship and familiarity with one another and their intense love for each other. Zack and Sarah promised each other when they married, a few weeks after they graduated high school, that they would focus on loving and growing with each other, their education, and careers before starting a family. A promise they kept. When Shannon is comfortable with being a liaison, Sarah wants more children.
Platonic Connections:
Ellis Watts (Best Friend): Sarah has known Ellis since they were both young. She first trained and served under Ellis II. She thinks Ellis has pushed and improved their pack and she’s proud to stand as his liaison. Ellis is the godfather to her children and someone she’d trust with her life. Sarah is currently trying to find a good woman for Ellis to settle down with, hoping her next batch of kids will align with his.
Katherine King (Best Friend): Katherine and Sarah met whilst at college. Katherine was in for financing while Sarah majored in Communications. They’ve been good friends since that day and have seen each other through marriages and kids. Katherine spent a good amount of time with the girls when they were growing up as well.
Lillian Pickford (Good Friend): Lillian cares about the supernatural and human world as much as Sarah does. They met at a PTA meeting for Zelda and Shannon’s school about 20 years ago and have been good friends since. They were a part of the group that suggested Robert run for Mayor.
Odell Rella (Friend): Odell has always been a bit different than most jackals, especially with leaving for school and traveling around the world for almost a decade. But it has given him an edge and insight to Ellis that Sarah and Zack couldn’t provide. It also shouldn’t have surprised Sarah that he and Zelda clicked. She is happy with their relationship but worries they might leave to see what else is out there.
Vanessa Armstrong (Friendly): Vanessa has been Shannon’s best friend her whole life. Which means she’s been a regular face in the Harris household. Vee has been a good influence on Shannon and has pushed her to be confident.
Milo Vasu (Semi-Annoyance): Milo cares about the right things in theory, but rarely goes about a good way of showing that. He cares about social justice, yet blows any chance of doing something big while at school on partying with his frat house. Shannon and Vee have been pushing him more at his internship and have seen some promising results.
Seth Allen (Annoyance): Sarah was saddened to find out about Seth’s life before their pack and has tried to act as a support while he becomes acclimated to the pack. He’s resisted at almost every step, and evades any information about his past. Luckily he has found a place with Odell and Zelda, for which Sarah is grateful.
Amaria Crais (Liaison): Sarah and Amaria have gotten along well in their time together and it was through this relationship that ideas of the University came about. Sarah prefers dealing with Amaria with regard to pack relations, but has been going straight to Chris with issues over the school.
Kylo ‘Nada’ Rajui (Liaison): The Jackals and Hyenas have always been very close to one another and Sarah is concerned about Nada. Though he hasn’t shut her out yet, she knows they have begun to wall themselves off from other clans. Sarah is doing her best to keep any judgement or concern out of their communication as to not accidentally alienate them from the Jackals.
Ray Hamelin (Liaison): Ray was the first liaison she met when she began the job 8 decades ago, and has always been pleasant and mostly easy to deal with. They forged the agreement that the rats would back off at City Hall and in return the Jackals would be open about their business.
Maxine Vanes (Liaison): Sarah was pleasantly surprised when she met Max. She wasn’t sure what to expect when Ray left, but Max has met and surpassed anything she thought. Max has been a large help with training Shannon and she hopes they will form their own strong bond.
Vincent Kane (Liaison): While Sarah has known Vincent for many years, recently she’s had Shannon take over communication with him. If the jackals and human shifters are going to continue having a strong relationship with one another, the best way is to forge that with the new guard. Shannon has done well so far, especially with organizing the campaign.
Hostile Connections:
Greer Finley (Dislike): Greer is aggressive and loud and gets her way with those two things. However, that’s not how to run a business or create a partnership between packs. Sarah now avoids her as to streamline the process and talks to Chris directly.
Eric Lasiter (Strong Dislike): Eric confessed once that her daughter, Zelda, eyes reminded him of one of his daughters. She heard about warlocks and their ways of getting what they want and Sarah will do anything to protect her girls.

He has yet to reach mentoring age but Kudzai was very adamant about Tristan starting as soon as possible, especially since Biokinesis is the hardest power to master. Kudzai and Tristan are currently working on Tristan taking on the wounds of others and then healing himself because Health Manipulation seems to always go wrong with him and other supernatural but works well with humans. The only time Tristan has ever seen Kudzai in a panic is when he somehow transferred a power he was taking onto himself to his brother, Asher who was waiting on him in the employees lounge. Clan Jackal is family first, always. They are capable of telling the sounds of their young from others and can immediately tell where they are and what they need. Jackals are very territorial, and by choice rarely leave their designated territory. This is especially evident when looking at jackal children. Many jackals have never left the city they are in, and generally only move a few blocks away from their childhood home. While jackals are very supportive, there is also a clear plan for what is expected of them: college, job, marriage, and children. A unique trait of the Jackals is their, often massive, extended families. Jackals tend to have 2-9 children each, all within a close span of time. Their kids have 2 to 9 children as well and the number grows. This leads countless cousins, and oftentimes extended family coming to the house at all hours. Everyone has a key to everyone’s home and it’s impolite to turn family away. This can be comforting to many, while stifling to those who wish to see the world. Often even the independent ones are loath to leave once they have their chance, or return to their home to settle down. They often find themselves working in places of knowledge or government agencies, as they are well read and great at communication. Jackals have very little reservations about opening up their pack to newcomers. Jackals need physical contact with other jackals in order to survive. When stray come into town, they will often be housed with another family, rather than put up at a hotel. It is much more common to find a born jackal, especially in larger cities.

A witch is a supernatural being that holds unbelievably strong magical power; like their closest brethren the warlocks. The term witches refers to male and female alike. Witches receive their powers from a heavenly source; typically known as an angel or light source. These various forms are seen in many different religions but all produce witches. As they derive their powers from holiness witches are strongest when following a pious set of rules: avoiding taking any god’s name in vain, being truthful, avoiding alcohol or drugs, eating a halal or kosher diet etc., can strengthen them. Disobeying piety rules will not cause serious harm, it will weaken them depending on the severity of the action. They may make up for it by following a holy practice or going to a holy place. They are also the most in touch with their powers when inside a holy place or place of worship. A notable feature about witches is that when they are working magic their eyes turn a deep winter green.

Breha tends to be the bright light in the room, always flashing smiles meant to dazzle. She always puts that part of herself first, focused on making sure her first impression is the best one. As a reporter, she knows that her greatest asset for her career is the people’s opinion of her. Those who know her well are also very aware of the fact that Breha can be very pompous and obsessive, and she’s not afraid to lord her achievements over others. At least behind closed doors. She finds it easy to make friends, but keeping them is another story. She is very work focused and often that means she neglects her relationships with those who are outside of the pack or her immediate job circle.
Sly as a fox describes Breha well. She isn’t afraid to do what she needs to do in order to get ahead, and that includes undermining others or finding ways to make them fall out of the good graces of those who are over them. She has done more than her fair share of destruction to other people’s jobs.

Liz Snow (Friend): Breha and Liz have been friends for years and have a relaxed friendship. They’re both hard working and have busy schedules. They have realistic expectations of each other and know not to take it personally when one of them falls off the face of the earth for a while and don’t return phone calls.
Austin Semler (Friendly): Breha is very fond of his photos in the magazine and is always quick to compliment him. However, she isn’t someone who gets super close to many people and thus they are not close.

Lee Boaz (Friendly): She is a little closer to the twins than others in the pack simply because they are foxes like she is. She doesn’t always agree with their work, particularly when it is directed at the members of their pack, as it has made things a little harder on her. She enjoys Lee’s photographs and has asked him to get photographic evidence for her on more than one occasion.
Tim Boaz (Friendly): She is a little closer to the twins than others in the pack simply because they are foxes like she is. She doesn’t always agree with their work, particularly when it is directed at the members of their pack, as it has made things a little harder on her. He is a good reporter in her opinion even if she feels like he wastes it from time to time on celebrity pieces.
Bryce Holt (Friend): Bryce and Breha met when the two crossed paths at a fashion event and hit it off. Breha enjoys meeting up with Bryce for brunch and Bryce doesn’t seem to mind when Breha gets so fixated on her work that she vanishes for weeks at a time. Bryce is Breha’s go to for fashion advice when she has a need for a different look.
D.W. Colt (Friendly): Breha has covered court cases on multiple occasions and has always done everything she could to make sure she was respectful to the victims. She started connecting with D.W. in order to make sure that she kept that going and the two have become friendly. Maya Morris (Friendly): Maya is a Rat Shifter that Breha met around the same time as Bryce. She is fashion conscious and always seems to be dressed the best which Breha respects. Her attitude is something that Breha does find to be slightly grating but she is young and it reminds Breha of her younger sisters. Breha and Maya have gone to a couple fashion events together.

Edith Walker (Dislike): Breha and Edith had started off on the wrong foot the day they met. Their personalities are constantly crashing against each other. Edith has continued to make sharp off handed comments and Breha has continued to be a pompous snoot. HR has invited them both into her office multiple times over the years and it has done nothing but add fuel to their fights.

Clan Cat is the most naturally attuned species with their shifted shape. Most are very tied to their homeland, often going back to shift and run in the wild every year. The cats are the rarity with larger shifters, in that they enjoy spending as much time in their cat shape as possible. During their retreats back to their homeland, they may stay in one shape the entire time. This, when not done with enough attention to frequency of shits, makes the cats highly prone to hypershift. They are incredibly independent, as cats typically are, and struggle to feel comfortable with quick commitments. However, once they mate, they do it for life. Very few remarry after a mate dies, and if they do it isn’t until many decades later. Many cats tend to be closed off to outsiders, and rather cruel or aggressive when they are challenged. Often prideful, they can be difficult to get along with when they don’t get what they want. Clan Cat values born shifters, and often have babies in multiples like twins or triplets. They seem to be the outlier when it comes to shifters and naturally have a higher amount of girls born. Often big cats, like lions or tigers, become the leaders of the pack and pass it along to their sons when they retire; making cat animal shifter prides hereditary.

Parent Names:
Riona McHardy (Mother): Kady Gaines was born Imogen McHardy to Riona and Killian McHardy in Ireland. Kady’s parents raised her as their own, Kady believes her father did not know she was not his and her mother was clueless as well. Kady is a spitting image of her mother, except her mother had more curves and softer facial features. Riona did not know how to read but did her best to homeschool Kady. Somehow Kady was still able to grasp everything Riona and Killian taught her and things she picked up whenever they went to town. Riona was Kady’s best friend. Kady stayed with her parents until they both fell ill. Riona was the first to go followed by Killian a few hours later. Kady was only 34 years old and remained on their farm after the death of her parents.
Killian McHardy (Father): Kady Gaines was born Imogen McHardy to Riona and Killian McHardy in Ireland. Kady’s parents raised her as their own, Kady believes her father did not know she was not his and her mother was clueless as well. Killian was an amazing father. Kady remembers Killian carrying her on his shoulders when she was younger and teaching her how to care for their farm. When Kady confessed to him that she did not want to marry and would rather stay at home with him and Riona, Killian did not put up much of a fight. Kady stayed with her parents until they both fell ill. Riona was the first to go followed by Killian a few hours later. Kady was only 34 years old and remained on their farm after the death of her parents.

Platonic Connections:
Ronan Cleirigh (Former Mentor): Kady joined the Cleirighs to mentor for her Master level powers. Ronan has sought Kady out while she was still working on her advanced powers and offered to mentor her once she was done. Kady did not know what a necromancer could do for her and started to do research on Ronan and the Cleirigh family. She was impressed and even more so when Ronan offered her free liberty of his family’s library. Kady was able to master her powers and craft faster than she expected with Ronan and the Cleirigh gang helping her along the way. Kady wanted to accept Ronan’s offer to take his name but instead she started to search for people who shared her mark with his support.
Sada Warren (Mentee): Simon and Sada are Kady’s first mentees. Ronan had been pushing for Kady to become a curse mentor since she was the only curse master in Chicago at the moment. The Council had approved and Kady had two new mentees. Sada and Kady have a regular teacher and student relationship. They are not as close as she is with Simon but Sada is still an excellent student.
Simon Lee Weyden (Mentee): Simon and Sada are Kady’s first mentees. Simon is supposed to be mentoring under Ronan but Ronan had sent Simon to Kady. Simon is more interested in curses than her powers. Simon already knows he wants to master the craft at the age of 78 which had Kady excited and already accepting him as her mentee without any further details. She did not find out about his powers until later but Kady did not care that Simon was a tantric manipulator. Kady actually had a lot of questions and wanted to learn more about him. They have been teaching each other these past few years and Kady considers him a good friend, not just a mentee. Simon has tried to drag her Underground but vampires and human shifters is where Kady draws the line on her knowledge.
Sydney ‘Sid’ Velanica (Friend): Sid is Sada’s boyfriend and he is always around. At first Kady thought he was going to be a distraction but he has been nothing but a big help. Kady believes that they can be friends without Sada being their buffer.
Garrett Cleirigh (Friend): Garrett is Ronan’s little brother and was always around while Kady was training. He had offered himself up as a test dump disintegrator for Kady to practice throwing curses and battling since Garrett is unaffected by physically created magic. They grew close together over the years. Kady has taken it upon herself to teach him the basics technologies, social media and about Starbucks. Garrett is doing well but she is also regretting he becoming a tech fiend.
Talia Cleirigh (Friend): Kady and Talia mentored together under Ronan. Kady was surprisingly the first person to give Taila free reign of their mind. Talia seemed like a sweet girl and the entire Cleirigh clan seemed hellbent on helping each other out. For the last decade, Kady has been pushing Talia to tell her more about other universes and the knowledge they contain. This has added some stress to their friendship since Talia refuses to tell her anything. Kady is trying not to take it to heart or lose a friend over something small but has never asked Talia anything in return for helping her while they were still mentees together.
Audo Wilhelm (Friend): Kady and Audo immediately clicked when he was first brought into Ronan’s mentees. They were trained together, practicing ways their powers could compliment each other and spent some down time practicing basic shields together as a recommendation from Ronan. They have developed a unique connection with their magic. Audo has been trying to trigger visions to help Kady in her quest to gain entry into the book of Marks.
Nathan Cleirigh (Friend): Kady once thought she was in love with Nathan. There was something about him that kept calling her toward him and it scared her. It was not until recently while reading one of her old journals did the reason why hit her. Nathan and possibly the other Cleirighs were in town once when Killian, Rinoa and Kady visited when she was young. She remembered going home and writing about the handsome men that visited their town for provisions. Nathan had talked to Killian and made her father laugh in a way that was only reserved for her. She has yet to share this with anyone but is thinking about bringing it up to Audo.
Hostile Connections:
Catherine Barr (Annoyance): Cat and Kady have never been friends. Kady found it odd when Cat started asking her question and favors that went against the local Council. Having mentored under a Council member and Cat being the mentee of a Council member has had Kady running in the opposite direction.
Bitwa Armii (Dislike): Just like Cat, Kady and Bitwa have never been friends. One day he randomly called Kady out for being a horrible mentor. She has no idea where that came from and has been tempted to throw a few curses his way.
Pets:
Blu (Hyacinth Macaw): Blu is Kady’s familiar. She recently got Blu a few years ago from Kaylor Genesis. Garrett had suggested it for her anxiety of being a new mentor and to possibly help with the growing itch for more knowledge.
Prince Ali (Chimpanzee): Prince Ali is a baby chimpanzee that remains Kady a lot of Disney’s Aladdin personality. Kady randomly purchased Prince Ali 3 years ago for her 580 birthday.

Taye is practical, down to earth with strong ideas about what is right and wrong. He is orderly, organized, systematic/methodical and controlled. Establishing a solid foundation is extremely important to Taye. He is an extremely hard worker and is often accused of being a workaholic. This is mostly because he radiates with energy and always appears to be in control and fully capable. Taye values courage and expects nothing but the best from those he associates himself with. He does soften himself around those he cares for in order to keep from appearing too aggressive and unreceptive. He can intimidate people if he does not soften his exterior somewhat. By doing this, Taye often attracts less confident pack members who will be more willing to approach him with their thoughts and suggestions.

Platonic Connections:
Patrick Perry (Best Friend): Patrick and Taye regularly go out running through the woods. They both grew up shifting regularly and feel very comfortable in that form. Sometimes they’ll spend the whole weekend lazing about shifted together.
Clara Fields (Good Friend): Clara and Taye have worked with each other for decades. They have a close friendship and she often relies on his judgement for issues surrounding the hotel and potential matches between species. Their major disagreement is about how to deal with the rats. Clara keeps wussing out and won’t commit to killing them. Taye wants to take a direct and deadly approach.
(Taye does not see those he works with or those he helps find matches or introduce to the matching program as part of his connections or friends).
Hostile Connections:
Mary Lang (Dislike): Clara has canceled multiple appointments with the exterminator and pest control everytime Taye sets them up. Taye hates repeating himself and refuses to run after rat shifters. Lillian is an intelligent, ambitious, hard-working, and tech-savvy individual who is highly confident in her communication and people skills. She wants nothing more than to help those around her. She is highly intuitive and has an innate curiosity, often amazed and intrigued by the animal shifters, witches, and warlocks around her. After becoming a lawyer, she became even interested in investigating the mysterious circumstances surrounding supernaturals and representing them in court. Her ability to gather and analyze evidence and come to accurate conclusions is also noteworthy. She is not afraid to take risks and or jump into action when need be. Though she does not go looking for trouble, Lillian is also not one to back away from danger, particularly when there is a mystery waiting to be solved or a victim deserving justice.
Lillian is more stubborn than any other human shifter and holds true to her morals, despite what others may want of her. At the same time, Lillian is also insecure regarding her position in the clan and as a female, as of lately she has taken two male forms permanently to feel more confident. Lillian is a patient and rather indulgent individual; she has seen how her clan prefers those clan members working directly for Chicago PD and older male figures. Her most prominent attributes are her capacity for compassion, kindness and trust; it is these traits which allowed D.W to trust her with the knowledge of her mischievous activities, as well as rely on her for random connections when needed.

Parent Names:
Teresa Ridgeport (Mother): Teresa died during childbirth. All of the stories Lillian knows about her mother are from older clan members.
Unknown (Father): Her mother never told anyone who her father was.
Sibling Names:
None
Children Names:
Barbara Pickford (Daughter): Barbara is spoiled and Lillian can admit that now. Her daughter was the only child for nearly a century before Lillian and Steven chose to have kids again. Barbara did not take the news well and chose to rebel in the stupidest ways. Barbara often takes on 18 or 19 year old forms and attends high school as a senior or a college freshmen for attention. Steven has given up but Lillian has been thinking of recommending her to a professional.
Elizabeth ‘Lizzy’ Pickford (Daughter): Elizabeth is much like her father. She is easy to love and be around. Unlike most human shifters, she has had the same three faces that she either ages up, changes their hair and/or body type repeatedly for the past few years. Lillian is trying to talk her into taking a new face and trying to understand her stubbornness for change, especially now that it seems like she has the gift of creating forms without studying or watching anyone.
Flynn Pickford (Son): Flynn is a mama’s boy. He is attached at her hip and wants to follow in her footsteps to become a supernatural lawyer. Flynn is a miniature version of herself and she is surprised they get along so well.
Romantic Connections:
Steven Pickford (Husband): Lillian has cared about Steven a great deal since they were kids. They were the typical high school sweethearts who married and had kids young. Steven has recently offered to choose a female, one that compliments one of her male forms, to carry their next child.
Platonic Connections:
Sarah Harris (Good Friend): Sarah is really involved in both the human and supernatural communities, Lillian absolutely loves that about her. They met while attending a PTA meeting nearly 20 years ago and have been friends ever since.
Greer Finley (Good Friend): Lillian handles the legal documents for Panthera Academy and was introduced to Greer when she became Clan Cat’s second. They bonded one night over drinks and paperwork. Later, Lillian invited Greer to a kickboxing class after she heard about Greer mate leaving. Now, Lillian and Greer randomly take group exercise classes together. They are both able to leave their clans rivalry at the door when together and do not take it personally.
D.W Colt (Friend/Coworker): Lillian often works with D.W and refers a lot of her clients to her as a victim advocate. It’s getting easier to find human shifters who are genuinely in their field to help but before the new changes were in place D.W was one of a kind; never taking bribes or favoring one victim over another. D.W Husband knows her as Amelia, an old college friend and coworker.
Darren Shaw (Friend): Lillian is always glad to see a happy face when she steps into the department. Darren is never gloomy and his perpetrator/suspects are never roughoused. Lillian quickly built a friendship with him and has even introduced Darren to her husband, Steven, they have a strong relationship.
Douglas Gish (Friend): Douglas used to babysit Lillian when she was younger. She hasn’t had much personal contact with him after her teen years but they still work together from time to time on her harder cases. Douglas is on more friendly terms with Lillian’s husband, Steven and is still a part of her yearly Christmas list.
Greta Bow (Acquaintance): Lillian had heard of Greta’s story when it first happened but voted against approaching her and possibly overwhelming her or seeming to pity her. However, thanks to D.W, who has recently introduced them to each other, Lillian has her foot in the door and is hoping to build a friendship.
Max Vanes (Acquaintance): Max has exchanged information with Lillian on multiple cases regarding the local supernaturals. She would not call Max a friend but they are business friendly and professional with each other.
James ‘Jim’ Montgomery (Acquaintance): Max had told Lillian that James was the one to contact when a rat was stalking her youngest daughter, Elizabeth was in elementary school at the time. Lillian now calls James directly whenever one of his charges step out of line when concerning human shifters children.
Hostile Connections:
Tim and Lee Boaz (Loathe): The nimble twins often take interest in her cases and try to turn the public against her clients using bad or false media coverage. Lillian does not think they understand that she is trying to protect all supernaturals; especially since they almost had a vampire on trial sentenced.
Austin Semler (Ignores): Just like the Boaz twins, Austin has photoshopped or falsified photographic evidence of multiple of her clients; mostly humans.
Tristan Lawton (Dislikes): Lillian has no problem visiting the predominantly witches and warlocks hospital for medical emergencies but Tristan has proven himself incompetent time and time again. He has single handedly ruined a countless number of her assault cases by mishandling evidence while healing and did more harm to her son Flynn’s broken arm when Lillian brought him in.
Pets:
Gambit (Male Capybara): Lillian purchased Gambit after her kids begged and pleaded for a pet. After coming up with impressive PowerPoints and spreadsheets, Lillian and Steven could not deny them.
Rouge (Female Capybara): They purchased Rouge for Gambit after Gambit had reached mating age. Rouge is now pregnant and Lillian is unsure if their family could handle anywhere from 2 to 8 pups. Especially, since Steven has brought up possibly having new additions of their own.
