First Look: The McLaren W1

The new McLaren W1 is the successor to two of the greatest supercars ever – the McLaren F1 & McLaren P1. It elevates the McLaren ‘1’ car to new heights in every aspect of performance.

From 1981 on and until production was stopped in 1985 (end of sales in 86), Lancia took over the distribution and model name of Fiat's Italian answer to the Mini Cooper. Prior to this, the A112 was marketed under the Autobianchi brand, which was also part of the Italian automotive group. As always Carlo Abarth explored all the limits of driving pleasure with this little, angry hatchback.
