"Felt cute. Might delete later." <3
I feel like I barely had a chance to participate in Romy Con this year but the little bit I did was super fun! Already looking forward to the 2027 Romy Con!
One of the events I did get a chance to join in on was the quick challenge where participants had a few days to draw or write something based on the given prompt. This year the theme was "I love you too much to die twice."
I couldn't resist such a perfect angst prompt. I drew a quick drawing on the first day but I didn't love it. So the next morning I started on the drawing I really wanted to do but feared I wouldn't have time for (of course a stained glass piece). Somehow everything fell into place and I really enjoyed taking the time to fine-tune it (so thankful for amazing friends and my sister for giving me feedback/fresh perspective!). I love it in all its angsty glory.
I tried to leave it slightly open for interpretation. I would be really curious to hear people's thoughts on the "story" behind the drawing if anyone feels like sharing.
Thanks for the fun challenge Romy Con ( @punkerduckiememes ). It's such fun to see what everyone comes up with. Similar to Rogue Gambit Week it forces me to create within the confines of a prompt.
PS: I will be working to catch up on comments/posts soon. I've also got 3(?) finished drawings I plan to post at somepoint. Baby was in the NICU for a little bit but everyone is home now and we are adjusting to a new (chaotic wonderful) normal. So consistency is going to be touch and go for awhile. ๐

Finally made a Death-bit piece. A long time coming. Illustrated for a quick draw contest at Romycon 2026.
This is also my contribution to the Tomy angst war from a few months ago where I promised I would get my revenge. Well here it is ๐

Just finished this 2 panel comic stuck in my backlog for months. Fuck ๐ง
Since "The Doorman" is an Eldritch god, I thought it was only fitting to draw him with tentacles. My early art bread and butter includes monsters with lots of eyes (aka biblically accurate angels and that sort of thing) I leaned hard into my old drawing habits as well.
This illustration took me approximately 10+ hrs in Clip studio. I may also have been very baked during most of the drawing process.. Enjoy! ๐
I included some bonus sketches and a time lapse!
