Looking for a co-conspirator for transformers fics!
What i need help with:
I need more technical help with filling out stories then generating new fic ideas (god knows i have plenty) so like story structure and flow, bouncing ideas off of, getting from point A to B, technical story assistance with enough familiarity with transformers to make plausible suggestions
I am not dedicated to a specific ship or anything but finding hot rod/rodimus and soundwave interesting characters would probably be needed since like 90% of my ideas are about one or the other
Series that would be helpful to have watched/read, to know where I am coming from in order of importance (not vital but helpful, i have watched more but these are the usual suspects) : g1 cartoon, idw mtmte/ll, tfp, rescue bots, rid 15, cyberverse
What I am NOT expecting: beta reader, writing things for me, that you read all my stuff, co author*
i return i can offer a similar service! I would offer beta reading but i am not great at grammar and can only catch the most obvious stuff
samples of my writing:
posted stuff: Ao3
story snippets: X X
future fic ideas: X X
if you like what you see and think we could work together let's chat :D
*i am not against being a co author but it's not a necessity or expectation
not all ships are For wanting them to be in a happy healthy relationship together. sometimes shipping two characters means you want them to be erotically obsessed with each other and become entwined in a mutually toxic love affair for a few months and then horrifically break each other's hearts and never speak again. sometimes you want them to be codependent best friends with enough repression to explode a submarine who only make out/have sex when they're at their worst. sometimes you want them to pine after each other for years, never say anything, and then die. sometimes you want them to kill each other. this, too, is shipping
Future Fics
now that the end for 'cut it out and restart' is somewhere in sight (anywhere from 4 to 7ish chapters, i know what i want to cover just a matter of pacing and exact order) i am considering my goals for future fanfics, i have so many ideas so i need to learn to put them down better, i hope to get in to the habit of trying to write something at least once a week but we will see...
before i get any further and you wonder why the hell i am posting this; i guess i want feed back? which of the ideas excites you most? i am so waffley on what i want to do next a single person's enthusiasm may be what seals the deal for my next project.
Looks like daddy issues hot rod is the next major work, I have an outline and everything (this is more then what i had when I started "cut it out and restart")
Wishing all of you a very merry "I suddenly have the motivation and time to write a minimum 10k fic"... please

when taking in a redeemed villain, it's important to give them lots of monologuing opportunities. a few will eventually settle out of that habit, but for the vast majority, it continues to be their most important social behavior, and even a major form of stress relief. it's also completely harmless, unlike some other behaviors that they may struggle to drop, so be sure to encourage them by presenting them with either large audiences (digital is ok — they love to be on screens), or potentially, a more intimate, one-on-one monologuing opportunity with a trusted confidant, depending on their prior villainous preferences. they may show signs of aggression during their monologue, but remember that it's just a performance — and if you play along in kind, your redeemed villain will develop a burning desire to protect you at any cost before you know it <3
:D well if you're taking writing asks... 10 and 40?
i am! thank you for sending one ( ˘ ³˘) ♥
10 Top three favourite fic tropes.
number one is when my fav character is assumed to be something they are not ( ie boring, dumb, selfish ext.) and then through the story other characters learn that it was wrong assumption to make 👌👌👌🔥🔥🔥 (also like all my fic ideas are this so UHH) through does that count as a trope 🤔 there is probably a nice spiffy phrase for this
enemies (or something a little less extreme) to lovers is a fave as the above would suggest 😅
found family is great too, doesn't need to be romantic in any way
there might be other tropes i like just as much but i suddenly forgot all tropes that ever existed because someone asked about it ;;;
40 Write a 9-word fic.
oop it's a little long sorry ;) (also a nice summery of most of my other fic ideas tbh)
Some of you may be wondering where the next chapter is after I bragged about having the rest totally planed out and everything, as I was going thrugh how I would write it out I realized there was an issue with what I had written vs how I wanted it to go so I had to rotate it in my head like
At some point i even thought i might have to change it all together but I managed to find a solution that's not more then tweaking the dialogue a bit wich is a huge relief bc I really wanted to have this specific scene in terms story but I almost had to cut it for coherence 😨
Now... to actually write it ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

"Using an Oxford comma is a sign of AI"
bestie boo, let me fill you in on something: if you're going to take any part of 'good grammar' and randomly assign it to She's A Witch! AI, you might as well give up. It's over. You're cooked. Anyone who has spent the last decade or more learning to type properly, anyone who has spent any time writing articles/papers/essays that require you to use 'good grammar' is going to fall into that 'oh no it might be AI' trap.
Stop hunting like it's 1692. You're not going to find Goody Proctor at the ChatGPT sacrament. What you're going to do is exactly what happened back then: harming people who've done nothing wrong.
can I reblog this a million times
