So, I'm doing Inktober or Drawlloween! I'm using inks but I liked Mab's prompts better lol

Using this to try to stop overthinking when I draw and be more accepting of imperfection, as well as just. Have fun. Enjoy the process.

Gonna start sharing my sketchbook and being less formal here. I'm just a disabled queer drawing because that's part of how I LIVE!!!

Got a nice mix here. Aya, Lily - the albino babes, we got my new fursona (just random colors i haven't designed their colors yet but. Wolfdog, or, a Woof), we got feral wolfdog persona sad dog art about trauma, we got BAMBIIII, and we got Jack. Or an attempt at Jack someday ill feel like I got his likeness.

I did this last year during Pride month. Not much to say about it other than that, a rainbow unicorn for Pride. Was scanning something for a loved one today and figured i may as well scan this too and toss it on Tumblr. Happy Pride, with a special shout out to asexual and intersex people, who are often left out or excluded from pride and our community.

I cannot and will not promise any kind of consistent posting but I decided it can't hurt to throw something I've finished up on Tumblr now and again.

I love Made in Abyss in a way that defies language. It's a part of me now. I may do more fan art, in particular I want to paint Faputa at some point with gold shimmer as is right and just. But if I draw nothing else, let what I draw of that series be this. I love Nanachi and Mitty and they rip my heart open every time I watch the series.

Self portrait from back in Sept. I am trying to get into the practice of occasional self portrait. I have body dysmorphia, and DO NOT have a solid grasp of what I look like, at all. 

I also have terrible self esteem issues about myself and how others see me. From both abuse and just... EXISTING in our world as a fat, sick, not-cis person.

This is probably the most accurate self portrait I’ve ever done, on top of that I’m super happy with the color. Its a mix of colored pencil and watercolor, based on a photo. I didn’t like looking at myself that day, but I needed a photo to reference. I ended up not forcing myself to smile and just capturing my honest reaction to seeing myself in the moment.

Uploading this now reminds me of how powerful this was for me. I need to do more self portraiture. I felt like shit about myself before drawing this, and I drew this honestly! I drew evidence of blemishes and my picking problem (working on it but if you know you know how hard it is lol) I drew my facial hair, which wasn’t shaved at the time (and is very blonde lmao) I drew my double chin. And after I put myself through this artist observe and interpret lens, I felt so much more compassionate and kind toward myself.

Highly recommended.

I believe the original version of this piece was from 2013? Somewhere around there. I still had the original, and it had been linework and just some flat pale grey tones. I decided to use some watercolor and colored pencils and give it an update :3 I was very inspired by the leaves out the windows at the time.

I've started doing self portraits to try and explore/process my feelings about my appearance and body. I feel like a pile of gross garbage today about my appearance, and couldn't honestly smile at the camera. So. I rolled with it. I drew my actual feelings about looking at myself TODAY. I covered a lot of watercolor up with colored pencil on this, but I'm happy with where I landed with it. And it looks more like me than my last self portrait, so. Improvement?

“Witches for Hire” a comic Deerthing and I collaborated on… a WHILE ago for the second Beyond anthology as a PDF bonus comic. I finally took the time to make not enormous files of it to post online. Now seems like the BEST time to spread some witchy/fae/magic queer fluff. 

We did absolutely base the Unicorn’s glamour on my chihuahua Nico (RIP, I miss you so much my dear sweet little potato prince <3)
