Blinded By Lights
Norma had begun to eat some of her sandwich as he talked, it was clear on her face that she was enjoying every bite. Her head tilting slightly from the apple conversation.
“Why would you need to go to a doctor?” She questioned before remembering that nurseries for plants existed, a facepalm following her realization. “Sorry that was a stupid question... but if you come by the cafe I’d be glad to introduce you to them. Though it would have to be in the early morning since we need to get everything ready for the customers and that’s when they come to deliver too.”
She had held back a light laugh after seeing how much he enjoyed the single strand of meat, settling for a soft smile instead.
“That sounds like a very interesting story, I’ll need to check it out. ” She replied, intrigued by story already. “Adventure stories are really nice, no worlds are ever completely the same and even then it’s described in a new way from character and author.”
The brunette hummed in thought as she tried to figure out her favorite type of book, unconsciously pouting as her brows slightly furrowed. “I don’t know if I have a favorite type of book, but I do enjoy a good book with character development... so I suppose slice of life? I find new perspectives interesting and how characters go about their decisions.”
“However my favorite book for now is Station Eleven, it’s an apocalyptic story and it switches perspective between the characters who each have different situations. They all handle things in their own way and it just all comes together in the end, I don’t want to spoil anything though so that’s all I’ll say.”
