about the OCs’ abilities, I decided to split them into a few groups. their powers come from a mix of ley lines, glendower’s legacy, and lindenmere.

for now, it’s just mauro, matthew’s son (lynch legacy). but silas and diane, even though they’re dreamers, can create or dream sweetmetals. mauro’s just… a living one.

then there’s opal, who’s a dream creature, and lily cheng — fully human, no dream connection. same for rick (helen gansey’s son /he is not important tho).

JJ was a dream of K, and his awakening was triggered by the birth of another oc (I completely made this up —I’m not even sure if a sweetmetal can actually do that)

Anyway, someone calls Adam from work (in my mind, he gets called when there are slightly magical cases) and tells him about this orphanage kid who is everyone’s nightmare… there’s a vague mention of strange dreams, so both Adam and Ronan go to see what’s going on.

When they arrive at the orphanage, they see the boy and decide to take him home for adoption.

Does it make sense? Only in my head.
