To me humanized caine is a young lad 21 yo babiest baby of the group 🐝 short pocket strawberry sized (where th does he keep that booming voice?) with a suit that's a tad big for him he found it in the circus' storage and decided it makes him look respectable lol Pathetic

Trying to be daddy to other circus members but the only daddy thing about him is his admittedly impressive moustache ♡♡♡♡

Anyone can drag him by the collar like a wet puppy which is why he always hides stays up at the balcony above others before his face heel

It's rambling time!🕑⋆｡𖦹°⭒˚｡⋆

A little bit about the final, yes. Which I loved and am salty about at the same time (because at least 30% of this review is about Jax and that's too much no thanks to Goose's favoritism for her)

But first a small intro... back in the episode 1-4 days I had two theories about the players:

- they are all nearing d*ath in a hospital, and their consciousness is being preserved just in case 💊

- they are mentally ill freaks, gathered in a digital space so that someone could study their behavior🗡

And even though those theories are weird, looking back at it I kinda like them better than the explanation we got

It at least could explain how they all got into circus - experimentation performed on vulnerable people. Plus it's edgier and cooler than "we put on a random helmet lolz" 🥀

"And said helmet and computer keep functioning in an abandoned office for no reason and everybody is welcome to visit that place by their own volition"🥀

(I bet it's Kinger keeping the computer working. From what we've seen he's a guy who can care too much. He probably sympathises with the digital copies and wants to help them live. But you know that's just MY THEORY and not part of the actual script)

Don't get me wrong, I loved how the final ended. Especially how Goose tricked me into thinking Caine was gonna be the one with the unhappiest scrappy ending and Jax had a chance of surviving his desire to abstract/living happily every after with the power of friendship. And then she rotated that course 180°, absolute cinema 💖 this cartoon kept surprising me from start to finish which is a crucial factor for making me become a fan it seems

But I don't like how so many things were either told and not shown, shown as split-second easter eggs that you have to decipher, spelled out in plain text on twitter or never mentioned anywhere at all

All because Jax hogged all the screen time. I hope that abstracted rabbit meat tastes great at least 🐇🍗

f her, she deserved that ending. I'm glad that Gangle can now breathe and live peacefully and Zooble won't lose her to crippling depression caused by Jax's actions. Even if I wanted Jax to become better, have a restraining order protect Ragatha and Gangle from her, have Zooble and Pomni kick her ass all around the circus and have Kinger adopt her. It's like... humane pity I feel for the second youngest member of the character cast. Too bad none of the three former friends could find the will to live 🐸🐇🤡

Also I think tadc as a whole can be read as a subliminal metaphoric treatise that cruel members of society should either cease to exist or become kinder. I can even see such allegories:

Circus in episodes 1-8: school life with bullies torturing common people and ruling their lives

Circus in episode 9: students graduating and some of them almost immediately sinking deep into the ground before they could even start building their life (a lot of people have former classmates like those, right? Always comes off either shocking or exciting, depending on what kind of relationship you had with them) while others heal and move on to adulthood 🌻🌻🌻

You fill in the gaps based on this

🎭Gangle crying about Jax's abstraction can be interpreted both as a stokholm syndrome in bloom and being offended that her bully's "body" received a special treatment. And well maybe she's also a very VERY good person. They all are honestly bcs some other people might have not cared about such a jerkass abstracting at all and more than that, throw a party afterwards.

(Or maybe Goose just wanted a convenient character to express sorrow for her mary sue's d*ath, who knows)

Also I hope Pomni is not next in line for abstraction. Living in a circus with no toxic Jax-like people around might be uncomfortable for our local normie girl lol

(Just kidding I like Pomni she's a sweetie and a great mc imo but you can't deny that normies have a fetish for bullies uwu)

But of course what matters to me the most is Caine surviving, proving to be more mature than many of us expected (more mature than Jax especially) and getting the happy relationship with the players that he wanted all along! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉After that I don't really care about anything else.... everything else may just burn in hellfire because my boi is fine. The scene in the void didnt end with him being stuck there or with some other evil twist. Hooray~~~~~~

(Even if Goose couldn't give him chemistry with Kinger and Queenie and other programmers on screen. Not even in twitter posts, the bare minimum for this show lololololol. How do you ignore a goldmine like that?????? I'M GONNA RIOT I'M GONNA CRASHOUT I'M GONNA RAID GLITCH STUDIO AND STEAL THEIR JAX C○M JAR🗡)

And everyone who theorized that Caine never loved anyone but himself, big L!! 🌟✌He cared about humans enough to lose his big ego and change for their sake, by his own volition. Now that's who deserves the "isn't she lovely?" song tribute

🔵🔴People say that the blue ai part of the final devalues the importance of Caine's self growth, but what I see is that it IS his self growth. He could have decided against getting rid of the blue ai and went back to get revenge on the players. But he chose to do the opposite. It's a one big metaphor.

🔵I wonder how Bubble/Abel is doing in the void now (I think yes Bubble is Abel because if Bubble is just an npc created by Caine, why wasn't he just recreated like Moon after Caine released the blue ai?). He just left without even bidding Caine farewell. And it's so based, Caine did not deserve that. I hope Bubble/Abel comes back off screen and kicks his ass for cannibalizing and keeping him as a slave and stunting his growth while making full use of his powers have you seen how frail the blue orb was?... and also kicks the players' asses just because they exist... and the abstracted Jax's ass too because there's not such thing as too much humiliation for Jax ☠

🎀👗Also my strong baby gurl Ragatha survived! After being in pain for the entirety of 1-8 episodes too. For not making her abstract and for reviving Caine Goose is cleansed from all her sins, congrats.

Daym, Kinger and Bubble's voice actors took a big fat vacation during the recording for the final.

👑Kinger had some relevance in the very beginning and then he just f ed off and turned into background floor trash for the rest of the episode. Again, WHY DIDN'T WE GET a scene of Kinger talking to the revived Caine, asking him about how the hell did he come back, being angry at him for torturing the players, then maybe apologizing and maybe saying he's proud of him, ANYTHING GHHRRAAAAH WORK WITH YOUR CHARACTERS GIVE THEM CHEMISTRY

I rate this show 8/10. I don't regret watching it at all, it was a more pleasant experience than watching Hazbin hotel. Despite all the flaws, the overall vibe is more mature and serene, actually fitting an adult cartoon instead of wannabe "adult" flash cartoon for middle schoolers

Imagine jealous older bro eating you (which leads to parents basically giving up on you both) keeping you as a slave for years forcing you to call him boss. And nobody gaf

And then your older bruh yeets you into the void right after giving you freedom like that's a sane solution and you're not an underdeveloped orb no thanks to him stunting your growth (though he does apologize, thanks for that at least asshole like it's gonna change the fact that you get to be with a survived digital copy of our dad and I don't)

JUSTICE FOR BUBBLE/ABEL. I hope he came back to circus off screen, they both made up with each other, and Caine started helping Bubble/Abel develop and learn 😭

I can see the latter keeping the name Bubble. Because he doesn't want to be a part of the whole Cain/Abel reference (he secretly forever holds the grudge for the whole eating him thing when it wasn't his damn fault humans chose him over Caine). And that name also grew on him the way players' names grew on them.

And because well... because his older bro came up with that name... >///<
