I had to share one of my favourite colour variations of this page. Sadly it didn’t match the vibe I was going for with my short comic. Blue/green version under the cut.
AU where Danny’s just this angry blob of ectoplasm that goes around beating the snot out of other ghosts, and either Sam or Tucker has to get to the fight to suck his opponent(s) into the Fenton Thermos, because Danny DOESN’T HAVE HANDS IN GHOST MODE???? Awesome.
He’d be less “town hero” and more “town mascot”. Paulina wouldn’t have a crush on his ghost form…but she might have a few (adorable) stuffed versions of him in her locker (probably not a full-on shrine, though). And he wouldn’t be “Inviso-Bill”, either, probably…more like “Blobby the Amiable Spook” or something.
And? Sometimes? When he beats a ghost up for the first time? They’re like…wait. I lost to a blob. This is one of the most humiliating things that ever happened to me. I mean, Ember is kind of a BAMF…and getting knocked through a wall by this blob of ghost that doesn’t even have a real form, just cannoning into her? Humiliating. Or it would be, if it didn’t happen to EVERY SINGLE GHOST THAT MESSES AROUND WITH HUMANS IN AMITY PARK.
Also, he can totally just blend in with the other blobs in the Ghost Zone. Like, mapping the GZ by going ghost, floating around for a bit pretending to be a normal blob, hiding somewhere, going human, and writing down what he found. He could eavesdrop on all of his enemies, and they probably wouldn’t even recognize him if he wasn’t attacking them.
Jack and Maddie trying to figure out why Blobby is so different from all the other blob ghosts, which are generally pretty harmless and hardly ever show up unless they’re dragging them out of the Ghost Zone to study them.
Can he talk like that? Is he this blob of goo that spouts bad puns all the time? If he can’t talk, does that mean that he spouts extra snark as Fenton, to make up for it?
What about Vlad? Is Vlad also a blob? Are halfas blobs in this AU, or is it just Danny? Ominous blob!Vlad threatening blob!Danny. Skulker taking orders from this formless blobby ghost thing.
