One thing I like to think, is that Warwick is kind of a living example of; ‘even the most powerful can fall.’. He’s stupidly durable, he’s got amazing regeneration, his time with Singed has built up his pain resilience. He’s fast, strong, smart– literally the perfect killing machine. 

You might ask,  ‘how could he stand against champs like syndra, yasuo, or even panth or the void?’ 

He was MADE to kill, that was his only purpose, one he accepted, and shaped so he could do it for his OWN reason. Against champions like that– yes he would find it a challenge. But these people are accustom to fighting people, or beasts. Probably not BOTH in one. He’s stupidly quick, relentless, ceaseless. If he has his mind set on killing someone, he will be cautions, he will learn, and attack when he finds the perfect opening. Everyone slips up eventually, EVERYONE.

Warwick stands a chance against the god-like characters, because he was built to kill, and to take a ridiculous amount of damage. Broken bones, gashes, lacerations, bullet wounds, burns. Singed spliced some of the world’s deadliest predators into him too. And  angering him, or spilling blood will only make the fight that much worse for his prey.

The chimera eyed the woman as she danced, the light of her fires reflecting in his eyes. Though he was hidden in an alley, the monster wolf would be noticed if anyone spotted the glow of his augments and eyes in the dark. It was rare that such an interesting thing came to Zaun as a traveling band of performers, as they usually stuck to the upper city of Piltover. He watched the girl for some time, bat ears perked forwards at the strange strains of music echoing through the area. @chimeric-hunter

The performance ended with the small red haired female leaping up into the air and doing a spin, the clothes she was wearing flowed around her body as she landed and a burst of fire erupted from the ground in a color filled finale.

Aurora opened her eyes, looking out to the crowd as they applauded and cheered, a smile on her ace and her tails waving about behind her.

His ears shot forward at her voice, and his maw parted with a soft growl. “What manner of being are you?” he asked, yellow eyes attentively scanning her now that she was closer to him. He sniffed, taking in  her scent once more.

“It is rare to get performers down here, much rarer that they are nonhuman or not mechanical in some way” he rumbled, blinking at her. He would choose not to flee, curiosity restraining him and bringing forth his voice.

She flinched ever so slightly when he growled but then her eyes widened and she looked at him, beginning to let out little yips and growls of her own, trying to see if he would be able to communicate with her if she spoke as a canine. ‘You can understand me, yes?’

Warwick cocked his head, bat ears twitching at the sounds she made. He found he could understand the speech somewhat, and decided to allow his canid instincts to take hold , attempting to speak back in this way. His fur bristled, and his yips and growls were much deeper than hers, seeming to be pulled out forcefully rather than formed naturally.

‘....Understand, yes,’ came the response, muddled as if a pup were attempting to form the words. ‘Don’t know this way...’ The glow in his eyes shifted just a bit, shining a more golden-orange color as he allowed more of the beast forth to communicate with the strange woman. He seemed to be struggling with the canine language, and yet somehow managing it.

The wolf-monster growls, startled, before spitting out, “That is an unwise move, girl.” He neither moved to stop her nor moved away, instead holding still, ear twitching.

Warwick laughed, maw parting fully in mirth. “You have some spunk, girl,” he said, a smile playing across his toothy visage. “Yes, I think it would be nice. But for now.. Zaun needs somebody to clean up its filth. When it no longer needs me, I will come with you to Ionia and see what trouble you will stir up.”

He set his huge head back upon her lap, having lifted it to laugh, closed his eyes and basked in her aura of peace. A future.. he had not dared to think fate would be so kind as to give him one. The chimera hoped to remember this possibility and not lose it to the ferality of the beast he now was.

He allowed himself to rest a moment more before lifting his massive head from her and pushing off of the ground with his massive forepaws. He stood, flecking his back in a stretch. A yawn came with the movement, massive teeth flashing next to a curled tongue. He closed his mouth and turned his gaze to the young lady who had sat with him.

“Thank you, Anilith. You bring hope to a destroyed life and a broken monster.”

“Let me know when you want to come to Ionia okay? I’ll be happy for you to live with me.” Zaun was a bad place that housed many bad people. Somebody that wasn’t corrupted with money had to help.

“You’re doing a great thing for Zaun. I believe in you Warwick.” Anilith wanted Warwick to achieve his ambitions and she wanted him happy.

When he removed himself off of her lap and stood up she did the same patting some dust and dirt off of her clothes. Jumping up just enough so she could hug Warwick from his neck, pressing her face gently into his fur. “Stay safe for me okay? I want to be able to live at a farm with you.” she said softly into the beasts ear. “And promise you won’t forget about me?”

The genetic hybrid rumbled when she hugged him, curving his great head around her shoulder. He chuckled that dry laugh, closing his eyes and allowing a clawed hand to touch her back.

“I remember my promises, and will not forget. The peace you bring will be held in my heart until I am no more,” he said softly to her before releasing her from the hug. Looking at her once more before turning and leaping nearly straight up a wall and onto the metal fire escape that dangled there, the wolf made his exit of the alley.

Soon, in the distance, a quiet howl was heard, followed by the screams of a wanted man.

As far as designs go, Vicar Amelia was one of my favorites in Bloodborne. God I love her, but the hair was a PAIN to draw.

“When I was a man…. Hmmhh.” He grew silent a moment, closing his eyes and frowning. “I was not a good person, in the beginning. Leaving could have cost me my life and position among the ruffians and filth of this city.” He shook his head, memories flickering like a dull light just before it went out. “Not all Zaunites are bad, and I have turned the teeth and claws of my rebirth towards cleansing Zaun of those who aren’t. The gangs and Chembarons, the criminals and abductors. The true monsters of the undergrowth. I will tear them apart.”

Huffing, he continued the conversation on a different thread, speaking again. “The gondolas and moving carts take people from level to level, or across gaps where the bridges have collapsed. The scampering criminals think that they can escape from me in them. They are wrong.” Many a transportation vehicle had been found crashed to the ground, torn open. Some simply continued along their tracks, torn open like a tin can shot with a powerful gun.

She listened to the beast as he spoke about his life before his current form. Anilith wanted to ask questions, but he seemed so upset about it and didn’t seem like he wanted to talk about it so she left it be. Patting his head again she smiled softly at him, “Whatever you decide to do here, I’ll be sure to support you okay?” 

Even though Anilith didn’t really approve of the death of the others even though it seemed justified, this was Zaun where many bad things happened and others suffered for it. “I think what you’re doing is very noble.”  Her eyes looked kept looking at the gondolas and the moving carts above them, it was so interesting to see. It wasn’t like anything she had seen before. “You don’t see things like this in Ionia a lot so it’s very refreshing.” Then she got an idea! “Would you like to come back to Ionia with me one day? I think it’ll be good for you to get fresh air and away from this musty Zaun gray. You can even live with me.”

A dry chuckle escaped him, and he nearly smiled. “Ionia… would so pure a place really take in a monster? Though.. hmm” He paused, seeming to think a moment. “Your ability may allow my passage over the sea to the golden land of peace. They may only accept my presence if you were to remain bonded with me. Would you truly be able to do this?”

His yellow eyes locked on her, and he seemed serious. “If you could collar the beast and allow me to live with you, would you really be able to accept the possibility of it breaking through? You may very well lose the henhouse and its population of chickens to the fox you brought into your home.”

“Ionia loves everyone!” Or so she thought. Some people would be accepting of him others maybe not so much. “Even if they don’t accept you, remember I always will.” she told him with a soft smile. “I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it, but I will try! I believe you deserve peace. You like to do noble things. I think if you explained yourself to people then they’ll understand.”   Collar the beast? That was metaphorical right? Anilith didn’t like collars on animals. To her it seemed like it made them “property” which they were not. Animals are the own being and they don’t belong to anybody else but themselves! “I don’t mind that. If it makes you happy to live somewhere nice or with anybody then I’ll be okay with it. You can replace homes. You can’t replace friends Warwick.”

“Ionia loves peace and itself. Its golden gods and dragons. It does not love Zaun or Noxus. They would see me and laugh in your face, pointing out my augmentations and Zaunite behaviors,” he growled softly, nearly spitefully. “I would be a stigma you would wear every day you spend there, and any mistakes or acts of violence I may give in to would be blamed on you. I would hate to put this burden upon one so young and kind.”

His muzzle pressed against her as he spoke, brows furrowing. It seemed he truly did not wish harm upon this girl, though he had only known her a short time. “Friends.. I do not think Ionia would consider a proven-violent Zaunite a friend.” He huffed, seeming to droop a bit before continuing, “It would be nice though, to live in peace. A secluded farm, with fields and woods. A mountain to hunt upon and miles of unpopulated forest.. and you, peacebringer.”

The soft green light cast by his augments shifted with him as she approached, and he blinked slowly as she approached. The beast in him coiled, ready for any threat from the woman, while the small bit of conscious humanity caused the body to take a step towards her.

His ears back, a quiet rumble passed through him as she got closer. The augments on his back whirred quietly as he backed up slightly. To approach, or vanish into the shadows? This confusion of choice allowed to to get close enough to see him standing in an alley, casting light on the ground and walls around him.

The woman didn’t come too close to the beast, standing in front of the male and giving an awkward wave. She had no ill intentions upon him, or anyone else for that matter. “H…Hello.” She said softly and smiled.
