Skins is renowned for being quite controversial and risqué at times but it always has the moral behind it. It doesn’t do anything without thinking about the consequences of what it shows. It’s very important that it shows the bad sides. You can’t always be glitz and glam and drugs and sex and everything going well, it has to show the more dark aspects of taking risks as a teenager. I definitely think it does inspire teens to not necessarily act in an insanely rebellious way, but to maybe let go more and try new exciting things they haven’t done before.
