Never Enough

-Some Haikyuu Tsukkiyama angst that I wrote inspired by my post on my Instagram account, sushinoyaa-

“I’m sorry but I can’t do this.” Yamaguchi said.

Tsukishima grabbed Yamaguchi’s hand. “Wait—I’m sorry, Tadashi.” He apologized.

And just like that Yamaguchi was ready to say it was okay. To hug him. To kiss him. To tell him he loved him.

But it wasn’t okay. Because this is the third time this happened this month. And the hundredth time it happened this year.

“I can’t forgive you...” Yamaguchi managed to get out. He pulled his hand from Tsukishima’s grip.

Tsukishima took Yamaguchi’s arm and kissed him.

It was short but Yamaguchi got the message. He pulled away and looked Yamaguchi in the eyes.

“Don’t leave me.” Tsukishima begged.

Yamaguchi was about to give in when he was remembered, those were the lips that kissed Yachi by “accident”. The hands that touched Kuroo when he was drunk. The arms that wrapped around his “friend” Akaashi.

Yamaguchi realized how many times Tsukishima cheated on him, and he took him back afterwards.

He always took him back.

Tsukishima used the excuse ‘It was an accident’.

But it wasn’t. Yamaguchi was the accident. He was not even second choice. He was the person Tsukishima called when he was bored and everyone else was busy. Tsukishima always took advantage of Yamaguchi’s love, knowing he’ll always come back, no matter how many times he fucked up.

They’ve been doing this for a year and a half. And by “doing this” he meant dating.

Not once has Tsukishima said those three simple words Yamaguchi was longing to hear. Yamaguchi would say it, and Tsukishima would always reply with “Me too” or “I feel the same”

“Do you love me?”

“What?”

“Do you love me?” Yamaguchi repeated.

Tsukishima hesitated. And Yamaguchi found his answer.

Tsukishima didn’t care about him anymore. He didn’t love him anymore either.

Or rather he never did.

“Let’s face it. We both knew I was never enough.” With that Yamaguchi walked out of Tsukishima’s life. And Tsukishima couldn’t care less.

Here you go~ Kenma “Y/N.” Kenma said as he opened your room door without knocking. His focus was on his game, then he looked up at you. You froze in place, your bare body on display. Kenma’s face reddened as he covered his eyes. “S-S-Sorry! I-ugh—!” He muttered softly with embarrassment. You thought it was cute and smiled. “I-I’ll leave...” He closed the door and left. You continued getting dressed and kept smiling at Kenma’s shyness. Tendou “OH MY JVDHNFGBN—“ Tendou screamed as he looked at you about to change. You were naked and dripping with water. “SORRY! I FORGOT YOU TOOK A SHOWER!” He yelled again still staring at you. You blushed and quickly wrapped a towel around yourself. “I-It’s okay.” You mumbled. A few seconds past. “Perv...” You quietly said, but loud enough for him to hear it. He realized he was staring and his face turned crimson. “Sorry again!!” He slammed the door and you heard his footsteps getting fainter. You dried off and changed. When you left the bathroom, Tendou’s face was still red. You laughed, not making the situation any better. Noya“Woah, Y/N.” Noya said, staring at your naked body. Your face instantly turned red as you quickly covered up. “I came to get something,” Noya explained as he walked into the room and grabbed something. You noticed how he couldn’t take his eyes off you. You were about to change but you saw Noya was still in the room.“Noya—!” “Continue.” He said, still looking at you. You grabbed a pillow and threw it. It hit Noya in the face as he stumbled backward. “Get out!” You said in embarrassment. He left with a slight smile on his face.

You were wearing nothing but his volleyball jersey and god knows what you had underneath. The shirt was big on you. A part of the jersey hung off of your shoulder. You curled up in his bed and rested your face on his pillow. “Come lay down with me.” You begged in a teasing way. By his silence and reddish face, you could tell your plan had worked. Tsukishima quickly changed his clothes and got into the bed with you. His face was redder than before. You tucked your head into his chest and took in his scent. His arms loosely wrapped around you. “You look cute...” Tsukishima shyly whispered in your ear. You smiled softly, knowing how shy Tsukishima got around you. “Thanks.” You muttered back, practically burying your face deeper into his chest. His fingers ran through your hair gently. You smiled again. “I love how you look in my clothes,” Tsukishima said with a bit more confident. “And I love you~” You sang with a heartwarming grin. “I...love you too...Y/N” Kuroo You looked at the clock. How long was Kuroo going to be in the shower? You were at your boyfriend’s house after he randomly invited you over for a sleepover. He let you take a shower and then took one after you. You forgot to bring clothes, so you had no choice but to wear Kuroo’s. One of his shirts were long enough to touch your knees. You sighed as you lay down on his bed and closed your eyes for a brief second. Minutes later, you heard a sly whistle. One of your eyes opened. Kuroo was standing above you, completely naked except for the towel that wrapped around his waist. His body was still slightly wet and his hair down and damped. His eyes were looking you up and down. “You look pretty sexy, Y/N~” He cooed. Your cheeks heated up as you grabbed the covers and hid under them. It didn’t take long for Kuroo to rip the covers off of you and straddled you. Your face was left red but you found no use to fight him. Kuroo leaned in and licked your ear as he whispered softly, “My parents aren’t coming home tonight~”Akaashi “Akaashi, I’m cold.” You complained once again. Akaashi wrapping his arm around you didn’t help that much, it just made you blush. Akaashi sat there thinking about what to do. Then an idea crossed your head. “Hey, can I wear one of your shirts?” You asked, another shiver running down your spine.Akaashi nodded and got up. He went to his room and came back with one of his long sleeves shirts. You took it and jumped up to run to the bathroom. You came back with his shirt that was oversized on you on. Your hands were hidden in the long sleeves. Akaashi turned his attention away from the television. His eyes widened as he saw how cute you looked in his long shirt. You sat back down on the couch next to him. Akaashi couldn’t resist but put an arm around you and pull you close to him. You smiled sweetly as a light blush ran across your cheeks. He kissed your forehead gently and continued watching tv. “Hehe. I love you, Akaashi.” You were grinning uncontrollably. “I love you more, Y/N.”

Hinata and Oikawa took awhile to get together

Oikawa fell in love with Hinata’s smile immediately

He always stared at him during games

Oikawa hated the frown on Hinata’s face when he lost a game

Oikawa finally worked up the confidence to ask the smol boy out

Hinata thought Oikawa was joking when he showed up outside Karasuno’s gates just to ask him out

Hinata coldly replied with a no

The setter actually cried

Hinata stood there awkwardly

Then he yelled sorry and ran away

Someone pls help this smol child

After that Oikawa still liked Hinata and was very hurt

He tried dating girls to move on

He literally dated a new girl every week

It didn’t work

On the other hand, Hinata couldn’t stop thinking about the setter

It got to the point where he stayed up all night thinking about how beautiful Oikawa was

One time at practice Kageyama was talking shit about Oikawa

Hinata got angry

It ended with the orange child yelling about how beautiful and skillful the setter was and how anyone would be lucky to breathe the same air as him

The whole team was shook

Hinata realized what he said and blushed deeply

Everyone decided they didn’t want to know what he meant

Hinata eventually fell in love with Oikawa until the point where he was thinking about him every second

One day Hinata left practice early to go to Aoba Johsai

He was planning to confess to the captain

When practice was over he didn’t see Oikawa

He saw Iwaizumi however and quickly ran up to him

He asked him where Oikawa was

“Shittykawa? He left early with his girlfriend.”

When Hinata heard the word ‘girlfriend’ he burst out into tears

And when Hinata starts crying, he cries buckets

Iwaizumi felt bad for Hinata

He awkwardly hugged him to make him feel better and stop crying

Oikawa saw this and let’s say he wasn’t a happy camper

He ran up to them both and yelled angrily

“How could you do this Iwa-chan?! I thought we were friends! You know how much I love Hinata!”

Hinata was shocked

Oikawa stopped yelling when he saw Hinata crying

Oikawa hugged him and told him how much he loved him
