Mink Frog (Lithobates septentrionalis), family Ranidae, Manitoba, Canada

The name comes from the smell of the frog, which is said to be similar to that of a mink. (The smell is also comparable to rotten onions).

Also called the "North Frog", it is found in the far north central and NE United States and eastern Canada.
