Far Cry 5 AU's
Seeds & Witches - (SFW in general with some NSFW additions, developing) an alternative universe inspired by Majo Shuukai de Aimashou, a non-existent role playing video game, which would introduce a conflict between Witches, Religious cult and non-believers.
Family Tree - (frozen) an alternative to FC5 and ND story, where all Seed brothers survive The Collapse though separately and branch out their family, creating a new generation
Twisted Untitled - (NSFW and developing) an explorative story about complicated relationship within the family, where Salome is unfaithful wife of Joseph, and Restless Mina is a Lost Lamb, mirror image of John.
Far Cry 5 OCs of mine
Salome Ann "Sunny" Clock - The Deputy, woman of color, raised in a cult until her teen years, perceptive, open hearted, but prone to feeling of guilt.
🙏In Seeds & Witches she is fulfilling a basic protagonist role - a playable character of my imaginary game.
🙏In Family Tree she is surviving The Collapse with John Seed instead of Joseph, they keep each other alive trough suffering, grow closer and become married for a while, until Salome's rebirth into The Judge.
🙏In Twisted Untitled she is lured into the cult by John, but eventually becomes a wife to Joseph. Both spouses however are unfaithful...
Dina "carrot" Sommer - young woman, a brainwashed cultist, a loyal and kindhearted "carrot" to Soldier's "sticks". Paired with Jacob Seed, is his biggest fan and his caretaker.
🥕In Seeds & Witches she is a fox witch, forever young she was a close friend and nanny of magical nature to Jacob, Joseph and later to John as well, though he doesn't remember her, because at the time he was just a baby.
🥕In Family Tree Dina is a devoted follower of Jacob specifically, survives the Collapse together with him, becomes his wife and by the end of The Winter they have a child - first of the four they are raising in New Eden.
🥕In Twisted Untitled she fulfills her basic role of Jacob's follower and caretaker.
Blissed Wisp - a long time friend of Joseph Seed, his angel and in some cases lover. A result of a prolonged scientific experiment with Technocyte virus (protoframe, heavily inspired by Warframe and Dark sector games) she is presented to people of Hope County as an actual angelic entity, who participates in quite a few cult activities.
✨In Seeds & Witches Wisp is John's long time friend, a forever young and seemingly immortal witch, who was pretending to be a ghost in the woods before John asked her to live with him and play the role of his aunt.
✨In Family Tree she only arrives at Hope County when it's time for Joseph to leave the bunker, and after she signals him to finally come outside to see the new world, Wisp becomes Eden's mystic protector.
Restless MindMina - young woman with a memory loss, messy military paper on her name full of blank spots, and deep yet unrealized feelings of fear and envy.
⌚️In Seeds & Witches she is a witch with time related abilities, a character who would basically act as a Save file manager in my imaginary game.
⌚️In Twisted Untitled she is a lost lamb that was easily lured into the cult by Joseph himself and trusted to John for he was supposed to teach her their faith. They become lovers first and then connect emotionally on their similarities. Though it is hardly possible to see them treating each other in a friendly manner, since both Mina and John are utter brats.
Character sketches made as commissions. They have a theme this month.
While making these, catching myself fantasizing about new characters of my own and finding myself between two wolves: one doesn't think that these new ideas are gonna stick for long so there is no need to make any art, but another one's just whispering to my ear aggressively "Give a Wife to any maidenless character, even female ones, and then draw, draw, draw all of the ideas you have about them, even the small ones, even the stupid ones, go for it".
FC5 fans are saying that "Only you" will never be the same for them, that song now is cursed forever for us. Yup. Sure.
I would like to add to the list though, but maybe it's just me lol
My list of things that now make me turn my head or shiver because of Far Cry 5:

- the mention of Montana (I'm not American, so what other mental connection to Montana I would have really)
- that one audio clip from New Dawn (which I played only bc of it's connection to FC5) of Joseph screaming "RELEASE ME!" that I hear in youtube shorts more often that I would like, bc every time it feels like an electric shock through my body

This is how majority of my canon+OC pairings start in my head: they just met, and I couldn't tell you for the life of me what they do after, but I sure can tell you how it ends. Dramatically.

Because I forget about that blog all the time, and it doesn't even work for me as an archive. Of course doesn't get much traction either... reasons are obvious, I know. Including the lack of soul, I think.

Really want to switch from these sketches to colored drawings... paintings? Wanna add some color to it! But I'm only testing the waters right now.
That colored one is all mindless sketching really to test out the tools.
Small struggles of an imaginative person who likes to make fan-characters, when hooked on a new setting:
"Do I let this one short scene I fantasized about slide and forget about it OR am I now supposed to dedicate next 6-24 months of my life to writing fanfiction and drawing sketches of my OC that I came up with to ship with a specific fictional old man?"
So I finished Yakuza 0 plot recently, and only after that, after I beat the shit out of all the guys that required to be beaten by the plot to progress, after I had cried over losses of friends, families and potential lovers, after all that, when I, it seemed, was ready to let it go and settle down with another game, my brain pointed my own finger at Tsukasa Sagawa and said
"This one"
Therefore a little sketch inspired by him, I guess. Woman is random. My knowledge of Japanese attire basically nonexistent too, so
references of all kind were used with various level of success. Maybe I'll drew something else. That would be nice.
Some practice work done with digital "watercolor" and "pencil" colors.
Feels so weird to call them that, but this software was made to simulate traditional materials properly, so... what? I can't choose.
