During the course of this semester I have learned a lot learning about what aspects I want to put in my podcast and what I want to avoid in my podcast. Throughout this semester, the podcast I enjoyed the most and got more feedback then the others was “24 Hours at the Golden Apple” because it had excellent background noise that made you feel like you were there and they had a wide variety of different personalities, which made the podcast very interesting. From this I would want to include in my podcast that dining halls gives us the opportunity to eat whatever we want while including different perspectives, for example someone who watches what they eat, with excess to the dining halls, versus someone who can eat whatever they want. I would want incoming freshman to imagine in their head on what dining halls are at the University of Kentucky and how current students are handling on what they are eating, I would also want to include the background noise, just for the people listening that they are actually in the room, eating a meal before class. Many of these podcasts were very effective for me because of the information they gave me on what not and what to put in my podcast. I have also learned what I do not want to include in my podcast. I chose interesting people to give me good and informative answers, instead of broad and boring answers. In some of the podcasts, some of the interviews were very boring, making me uninterested in the podcast. From learning what I want to include and what I do not want to include, makes me confident that my podcast will be very interesting and informative for listeners.Â
