Gwaine: "I thought Leon was the one with magic."

Gwaine: "I don't know you're so loyal and you were the only one there with the whole dragon thing so I thought you had learned it to better protect the crown!"

Arthur: "that's why I thought it was Lancelot!"

Lance: "of course it wasn't me!"

Arthur: "I thought that was why you left after the whole griffin thing!"

Elyan: "am I the only one that remembers Percy letting it slip that he was raised by druids or?"

Percy: "but I don't have any magic to do spells in the first place! I thought Gwaine did!"

Gwaine: "huh? Why me?"

Percy: "you can't be serious- you're so suspicious all the time! You're at the tavern more than anyone has any right -or the coin- to! I thought it was a cover!"

Elyan: "so no one thought I could be the one with magic? *Sniff* that's cool. I didn't want to get accused of sorcery anyways"

I believe one of my favorite genres of Sucky is little ol' Jamie Barnes being head over heels for Stevie Rogers since they were kids, before they even knew what it even meant.

The whole neighborhood knows that Bucky and his Steve are a little "different." Bucky's sisters are definitely tired of hearing about it and just want Bucky to pluck up the nerve and DO something. They see the goo-goo eyes Bucky makes with every turn of Steve's head or the quirk of his lip. But still, Bucky doesn't open his dumb mouth.

Then Steve hits his sixteenth year, goes to the Barnes house and discovers his best friend since "forever now" has suddenly become HOT.

"Damn, look at that boy, I never noticed that before! He's been that good lookin' all this time? Guess I didn't notice with all the teasing and flowers he threw my way- OH MY GOD."

Steve can no longer pretend that he doesn't hurt, one rainy afternoon he just breaks down crying with the only person who always supports him. That day Bucky stayed at Steve's house, the next day too, and the next. Bucky promised him that he would never leave Steve alone, 'till the end of the line.

Here’s the Coney Island pic I used as the background reference. The seats on that damn Ferris wheel are all over the place (cuz they slide around on a track apparently as the wheel spins??? Terrifying.) I redrew them where I think Ferris wheel seats normally go just so it didn’t look fake.

It’s called the Wonder Wheel, and if you go to Coney Island, just know this is NOT a peaceful Ferris wheel. This is a wheel that wants to fight. Steve would've loved it.

I hope one day we talk about how similar Astrid and Toothless are, I can even say their character arcs in the first movie are kinda the same.

Two distrustful, proud beings who reject the idea of letting their guard down and showing weakness. They built up their walls and push anyone who tried to break through them.

The difference is that while Astrid had comunity and therefore a duty to protect her people, Toothless was independent and relied on no one but himself.

They are both rejectful at Hiccup at first, both tried to get rid of him and avoid every interaction because of their own avoidant nature and ego, always prioritizing their own independence and reputation, Astrid during dragon training, trying to protect her spot as the best of the class in order to become an official viking warrior and Toothless when Hiccup gave him his prosthetic tail and tried to get rid of him, trying to put an end to their temporal alliance to go back to being feared.

Yet it was Hiccup's audacity, insistence and worldview that ultimately softened them and let them be the children they really were all the time.

Both had to realize that there was more in life that being what they thought they had to be in order to survive.
