Weird (The Other)
It's kind of weird when you think about it. Everyone complains about what they have. And appreciates what others have. So they try and try and try to obtain that sense of The Other. And when they think they have finally gotten to that point. They look down and they are still themselves. What I want to know is. When did we trick ourselves into thinking we could become The Other? Even if we drain ourselves of what we perceive as fat or ugliness or poor skills. And layer on pounds and pounds of The Other's beauty and prowess. We still aren't The Other. We're just the ourselves, hidden beneath stolen attributes. So when was that day when we started thinking this way? When we started to compare and to tear down ourselves? When did things get so weird?
For when you decide you no longer want to be a Death Eater
YESSS! This is all I think of when I see commercials for these things!
I can’t even explain to you how happy this video makes me. I’ve watched it like a billion times already. You’ve gotta have mad stamina do this and pull off as well as she did! Whenever I have enough confidence to go out and dance in public like this, I’ll know what it means to be at peace with myself. Because seriously, besides stamina, this takes guts.
How to Be Alone - “There’s also the gym. If you’re shy you can hang out with yourself in mirrors. You could put headphones in.”

Chasing Something
Why do steeples chase the sky? Is it love. Or the need for some kind of hopeless symmetry. A yearning for that higher power. A need to touch and receive touch. A restless desire for something bigger. Something more. Or is it just a careless gesture. Hoping a breeze will catch their peaks And show them a cool summer morning.
Everyone's Smiling
Oh look, a positive turn of events. Or so you think. The smile on my face overshadows my eyes But it's okay, If you were to ever look closely enough I could also make my eyes smile. Deceiving leads to believing. Or so I've always found. I just pull out my mask and tape it on. No harm right? Everyone's smiling. Except somewhere along the way I ran out of tape and only had glue. The mask can still be removed but only with great force and great care not to tear the face beneath. Which neither you nor I have the time for.
I freaking love giraffes...
Weakness
Sleep is for the weak is for the mindless is for the heartless is for the soulless. Sleep is for the strong for those who can break past thoughts and worries and stories. Oh the stories How they plague the mind Characters sprouting out of darkness. Weaving intricate voyages and walks in the park. Problems and worries push past plot Ripping holes in the tales Dragging fearful claws to the surface. The sun rises and the thinker rolls over. Sleep is for the weak, (s)he thinks Though the loss of time is mourned Again and again and again until the eyelids of the mind finally slide together bringing true darkness.
