Soooo, Study Café turned one on the 23th of October and I didn't notice until now :D.
First of all: Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading this, thank you for liking and reblogging my posts, thank you for writing me and thank you for spending time on my blog! This community is amazing and I am so glad I found my way into it.
My life is crazy. Just crazy. I'm living my dream.
Think of everything you've ever dreamt of, everything you're working towards right now, your daily motivations. And now imagine that everything works out and comes true. Amazing, right?
I wish you guys all the best and I'll be back soon. (This time for real ;).)
Love you! 💕
🌻About my life at the moment 🌻
I figured I should maybe tell you what's going on in my life since you're kind enough to still be following me even though I'm barely posting at the moment.
Most importantly: Thank you for being here! It means a lot to me and I really appreciate it!
So ... I turned 18 y/o a few days ago. 🎉 Kinda amazing, kinda scary, kinda really not my thing but working it.
But the big thing I've been wanting to tell you for ages is what's happening in the next few weeks. As you probably know, I have graduated high school and got my A-levels - and then I didn't post much. BUT in that time I did a bunch of acceptance tests and what not and got accepted to my dream-universities.
I'll be doing a Double Degree in my home country Germany and in England! (I would love to tell you where but the internet is a scary place, you know? All I can say is that both universities but especially the university in England are rated top ten :) ... )
I'll be moving to England in just a few days and have a hell lot of things to do until then. I didn't want to start posting things that weren't my original stuff just because I didn't have time. Once I'm settled at university and my courses have started I'll post a lot! I promise!
As always fell free to message me or ask away! I love to hear from you guys!
All the best! 💕
Anna :)

My late breakfast and the beautiful poem "Because I could not stop for Death" by Emily Dickinson. And yes I ran out of space when I wrote it down.

Photos I took during a trip to Hamburg with a friend who is going to begin her au pair in another country tomorrow. Since I will move to another country as well we won't be able to see each other for at least half a year. As exciting as all the things that are to come are - all these farewells make me sick ...

My go-to stationeries ^^
A fineliner from Stabilo in whatever colour, a golden edding 1285, a black edding 1200, a plain pen and a 2B pencil.
Moving to University ...
Let's be honest: Moving in general is a challenge and when it comes to moving to University for the first time it doesn't get any better. In my case I'm even moving to another country which comes with some extra challenges such as opening an extra bank account and buying adapters. Anyway, here are
🌻10 things to do before going to university
(which also gives us studyblrs something to post while there are no exams, tests or anything else to post about ;))
The 5 stationary essentials you have to bring with you to University - take photos and explain why you love them. Find an etui for them.
(Re-) Organize your Planner: Find or craft the one planner you love, add pages you find helpful (a map of the city, the train or bus schedule, helpful telephone numbers etc) and rip out the ones you just don't like - a fresh start is always great :)
Make sure you have the addresses, numbers and whatever you need to keep in touch with your friends and your family. Go and buy some letter paper, try the old-fashioned way!
Try to become familiar with your new university. What societies or clubs are there that you might enjoy? Where are the buildings located? This way you won't feel as lost once you arrive if you wasn't able to attend one of the open days because your university is to far away from home.
Deep clean your laptop/Ipad/Tablet/Phone and I'm not talking about the outside here. All those files from highschool and the images you drew with paint ages ago - throw them in the (digital) trash. You won't need them. Fresh start - remember?
Write a packing list. Maybe you can bring everything you want but maybe you have to restrict yourself a loooot (like I have to - I can only bring 1 1/2 suitcases, no decorations, no books or other heavy stuff since I have to go via plane) then look for minimalistic concepts such as the konmari method or the capsule wardrobe.
Revise your packing list. Scratch at least five things.
Try to find out as much as you can about your future room. Maybe you have pictures, have already been there or have a ground plan. Now imagine how you can arrange the room. How do you want it to look? Go for a (online) shopping spree. Even small things can make a room feel like home. Fairy lights, art, pictures, plants or a carpet - imagine the colours you want your room to be. Make an effort. You'll be living there for the next years.
Speaking of home: Serach for pictures. A lot of pictures. Of everything you'll miss and/or you want to take with you. Print them out and think of a way to hang them up. Many colleges don't allow you to pin or tape something to the walls but maybe you can find another way to hang them up.
Make a list of the things you want to achieve while you're at university. What's your overall goal? What places do you want to discover, which adventures would you like to experience? With whom would you like to keep in contact and how? Which sports or courses would you like to try? Write everything down.
10 1/2. Have fun! This is supposed to be one of the times of your life! Don't stress yourself out and enjoy whatever may come your way. I wish you the best of luck! ❤️

28-06-2018 I treated myself to some books as my graduation present ... to myself (? :D). Sorry for the picture overload I just wasn't able to pick a favourite.
I graduated High School on the 22nd of June 2018 in a beautiful ceremony where I gave the graduation speech ^^
03-06-2018 Oh boy look, it's already June ... Which means more beautiful flowers from the garden for my study space ^^ Have a lovely week everybody!

100/100 Days of productivity

Yay, I did it ^^ Even though I wasn’t equally productive each day I still finished the challenge! So here’s a bonus picture of my cactus Gertrude. Don’t ask me why, it’s the name that suited her the best :D.
Tomorrow is my very last exam and I’m excited and frightened all at once …
91/100 Days of productivity 06-05-2018 I'm back ^^ and I'm feeling much more like myself again. I still have to master my oral exam and I'm not getting my marks until June but until then I'm doing my best :). Wishing you all a wonderful week!
It's been a rough time ...
So I'm almost finished with my A-levels (only one written exam and one oral examination left ^^) and it's been going very well. So in total I'm very happy about how it's going so far but in the mean time I keep messing up my time schedule. I forgot two appointments I had - something that never happens to me - and in general I'm feeling like I'm not on top of my stuff concerning everything but my school stuff. And I really don't know how this happened. I keep telling myself that it's because of the A-levels and that it's totally normal to be such a mess but it really bothers me and I feel so bad - it just keeps dragging me down.
Since I'm desperate to such an extent I'm willing to give bullet journaling another try. Hopefully it will be able to ease my mind ...

Some pictures of my very messy desk. I have my final exam in biology tomorrow and I’m so nervous - my hands are literally shaking. Hope all of you are doing better ^^
