im 12 years old sitting on my bed reading it’s midnight it’s summer my window is open the crickets are very loud but very soothing my room smells dusty and warm and no one else exists. im 12 years old. the feeling never goes away.
“Do you imagine yourself or an oc when reading x reader fics?”
Me if I imagined myself in x reader fics:
The alternative ending, where Lute died instead of Adam… 🥀
This is how I deal with the fact that I’m slowly developing the fainting part of my disability. It’s not fun
I don’t think Moon (or Sun for that matter) would be good at handling someone fainting around them (they’re like yay!! Finally sleeping!! :DD …wait a minute-)
He’s a lil confused
Awgh <//33
“Okay kids we are going to learn a new word today, traffic violation”
I’ve been seeing these headcanon generator posts lately and thought it would be fun to doodle some (mainly to distract myself from stuff going on irl)
Next up is moon
Bonus doodle based off my friends comment because I thought it was funny
WHOA no way i actually have something finished to post on here 🪩💥‼️✨🌈‼️❤️🔥💥✨⚙️✨
sun and moon separated under the cut 👇
HRR GRRR
tumblr user cacaocheri is having inconsolable thoughts about sun fnaf.

I'm sorry I did something weird if it makes you feel better I torment myself and consider suicide about it every day
images of cleopatra from night at the museum 3, found on this website
If ancient Egyptians believed that the dead could view the world of the living through depictions of themselves does that mean Ramses II can see me when I watch Prince of Egypt
oh my god I just solved Night at the Museum lore
One of my top natm existential crises is "are the statues of historical figures actually those people? What makes them 'real' or not in a meaningful way?" but the tablet that brings the museum exhibits to life operates under ancient egyptian cosmology, so the fact that they believed statues of people were vessels through which their souls could see means that OF COURSE its the "real person", the tablet isn't just bringing statues to life its also allowing possession of the statue in body as well as in eye. Don't ask me what this implies about fictional characters like Lancelot or "incomplete" historical representations like Jedediah and Octavius that's not gonna send me anywhere normal
Sometimes, life is formed by the intention of the maker, the vessel giving it a path which it completes

Honestly, this makes so much sense though...the souls of these historical figures are literally in the museum each night. I can also see this transferring over to great people of fiction and myth and lore though, because when so many people believe in something or create a worldwide understanding of something, doesn't that give that character or story life? With how many stories have been told of Lancelot, doesn't the fact that so many people know his story to the point that some people probably don't even know he's not real - doesn't that take on a life of its own? Does that give someone a soul?
...perhaps.
But don't even get me started on the fact that the exhibits have hunger and can eat and can gain injuries and bruises and can even pee (Dexter), but - in the case of Teddy - getting run over by a carriage does nothing and reveals only disconnected wax when he's cut in half. That's a conversation for another day

i still love you so what does that say abt me 🤨
not to take the natm game as pure canon, but it does provide some interesting facts about the timeline of Ahk and his family! When you access the Smithsonian and come across Kahmunrahs sarcophagus, it says that he was “a Fourth Dynasty tyrant chiefly known for his reign of terror across Egypt.”
The fourth dynasty of ancient Egypt is known as a “golden age” of the Old Kingdom, lasting from c. 2613 to 2494 bc. It was a time of peace and prosperity, and “no other period in Egypt’s history equaled Dynasty IV’s architectural accomplishments.”
Also, two of the ruling Pharaoh’s bear a significant resemblance to Ahk’s parents names (Merenkahre and Shepseheret). The second to last Pharoah of the dynasty was named Menkaure, and the last was named Shepseskaf, or Shepsesket.
