i didn’t cry until drogon landed next to dany’s body and nudged her with his snout. i felt detached, this is not my dany, hasn’t been for a while. these characters aren’t mine anymore, this show is too far off track. but then that stupid cgi dragon tried to wake her up, and she was gone. and i burst into tears. daenerys stormborn, the last targaryen, breaker of chains, mother of dragons. with a gentle heart and a childhood full of fear and loneliness. helping thousands upon thousands for all these years, trying to make it back home to reclaim what her family built. trying to help people escape abuses and find freedom. she became a family with all of these people. became their home. and she was ruined by an idea in a few showrunners heads (or the writer of the books himself) cast aside on the cold ground, blood streaming from her mouth. because they claim she wanted a new world and millions dead. they claim she wanted fire and blood. they twisted her into something evil and unimaginable in a matter of episodes, rather than let her die a good person. if i look back, i am lost. they didn’t truly kill daenerys targaryen, because she was already dead
