I swear it's so annoying to get these "reminders" to hate a certain type of character. I see it in every fandom and I don't understand the logic at all. First, they're fictional. I am fully capable of differentiating between fiction and reality without someone holding my hand, thanks. Second, if a villain isn't compelling in some way, what's the point? Often times in media villains are created to point out a flaw in society, and teach a lesson. To just 'hate' them because they're 'bad' is missing the entire point they were created for in the first place.

Get this "reminder to hate this villain" trash rhetoric out of my face.

After carefully placing the hot mugs filled with green tea on the coffee table, you turned around, focusing your attention on Overhaul, noticing how his eyes were following your every single action, with a glint of suspicion in them. You scoffed.

“Stop that. It’s becoming rather annoying.” You said, going back to the kitchen to take a straw. Overhaul quirked an eyebrow, eyes following your figure as you came back into the living room.

“Stop what?”

“The perpetual stare of distaste. I’ve been taking care of you more than half a year now, the least you could do is to treat me like a friend or ally, whichever you prefer.” You mumbled, now focusing on the blanket that covered his lower half. You put some additional pillows behind his back and one under his head, tucking the blanket under his body. 

Overhaul narrowed his eyes, mouth twitching in annoyance under the black mask.

“You’re no friend to me.”

rights to peaceful protest no longer a thing, AND what really gets me is the fact that police can arrest you if they THINK you're going to a protest or being disruptive. you're disabled and you walk by a protest about disability rights? police can arrest you on suspicion of partaking in a protest. couple of teens hanging out on a street corner? police can arrest you if theyre having a bad day and can say you are suspected of protest.

stop and search warrants. this goes back to the protest thing. you've just been to a DIY store and have bought some DIY equipment. police can now stop and search you with no reason and say you were using that equipment to incite a protest.

most UK press being in parliaments back pocket and therefore we get no real truth unless its leaked
