I'm a yumejo with a ton of OCs and lore but my main one is Snowglobe 🧸🪆 alongside their children ( Nona, Aisa, decima, Brian). Snow and White are canon character from Mahoyaku.
There's several aus (kitty, witch au, April fools, etc.) but they usually follow a similar beat to canon unless Clara names goes to Chiara then is usually a more darker story.
You can find most of my oc art/content in toyhouse! Lore itself is a bit of a mess but I try keeping everyone updated.
And Shino too. You were the one who asked Shylock to invite me if there was a ticket, right?
Shino: Heath, you’re into delicate craftsmanship, aren’t you? Mechanised puppets and such.¹
I thought you would enjoy it if the puppets used in the theatre were made intricately and beautifully.
Heathcliff: But it’s such a popular theatre, so there were surely others who wanted to go besides me.
Were Rustica and Mitile fine with it?
Chloe: Yep, because Heath likes stuff like this the most.
Rutile: Mitile also said he can’t wait to hear Heath’s impressions of the puppet show.
Heathcliff: I see…
When I get back, I’ll tell them both about it.
And I’II thank them for giving me a spot.
The wizards who were nearby then and Heathcliff are taking part in the current investigation.
Chloe: The theatre staff guided us to watch the spectacle first…
But is it alright that we’ll see the show first, instead of investigation?
Shylock: If you first point out what is causing concern and ask for it to be checked, it will immediately stand out.
They want us to observe without prejudice first, and only then decide if strange rumours stem from the catastrophe.
Rutile: Perhaps because I rarely get to see puppet shows, I still can’t help but feel excited, even though I fully understand that we are on a mission.
Figaro: The audience has started to gather, so why don’t we go too?
Right, our seats… Ah, they are over there.
Per the manager’s arrangement, we were assigned seats right next to each other.
Shino: Heath, what luck.
Heathcliff: Yes, since we’ve been given the chance to watch from special seats, we should make an extra effort with the investigation.
Chloe: The auditorium is filling up quickly…
As expected, the theatre is extremely popular.
White: Sage-chan, can I sit next to you?
Akira: Of course!
Snow: Then I’ll sit to the left of Sage-chan!
Host: Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for gracing our theatre with your presence.
The creations of the most talented puppet maker are delighted to welcome you.
Please enjoy the world of the puppet show, so wonderful it appears to be truly alive.
The host withdraws behind the scenes and the curtain immediately begins to rise slowly.
In the centre of the large set stands a miniature bed, along with a small table and chairs.
From behind the curtain stepped a puppet girl, moving in a surprising natural way.
With every movement, her lavender hair swayed slightly.
She flipped back her long hair and focused her eyes, a pure sea blue, on the spectators.
And, just like a human, she blinked several times.
Akira: Amazing, she seems so alive…
Snow & White: ……
White: This presence…
Snow: Somewhere already…
The girl puppet, moving incredibly naturally, walked over to the cabinet and pulled open the door.
Inside were many dolls, each small enough to be held with both hands.
She gently embraced each and every one of them in turn.
Puppet girl: Have a good night, I love you all.
The light gradually fades.
The moment the girl fell asleep, the cabinet door opened, and the dolls stealthily approached her, careful not to utter a single sound.
All for the sake of not disturbing her sleep by accidentally waking her up.
If her blanket started to slip, the dolls would adjust it.
If the sleeping girl was tormented by a nightmare, they would sing her a lullaby.
The lights then flared back on, announcing a brand new sunrise.
The dolls returned to the cabinet before she woke up.
As soon as the girl woke up, she walked over to the cabinet and greeted the dolls:
“Good morning, I love you all today too.”
Day after day this repeated, until her lavender hair had completely turned gray.
She walked to the cabinet with an unsteady, shaky gait.
Akira: (Ah…)
I nearly cried out when she reached the cabinet, fell down, and stopped moving.
The cabinet flew open and dolls tumbled out in a rush.
The dolls carried her motionless body over and covered her with a blanket.
In that same moment, a single tear rolled down from each of the dolls’ eyes.
Akira: Eh…
The dolls placed lavender the colour of her hair next to her pillow, then plopped down as if wanting to struggle up.
Soon, they all became motionless.
Wishing to sleep an eternal sleep, to be with the one who cherished them.
The lights cut out and the curtain came down.
The crushing silence was suddenly broken by cheers.
Everyone gave non-stop applause for the stage.
Snow: Hohou, that was impressive.
White: Yeah, we were shown something magnificent.
Akira: …Incredible…
When the main character stepped out from backstage, she looked genuinely alive…
And the other puppets felt so lifelike, almost as if their emotions were shared through the show.
Chloe: …..
Ugh…
I can’t stop myself, the tears are about to flow!
Rutile: It gave the impression that we were observing the girl’s life along with the dolls.
The dolls loved the girl and vice versa…
Shino: Speaking of tears, didn’t the dolls cry?
Heathcliff: Y-yes. So I didn’t just imagine it.
I wonder what kind of mechanism that is…
Shylock: I must admit, if it is a mechanism, it’s marvelous engineering.
It felt as if puppets were feeling real emotion.
Figaro: Considering it’s a Western Country, it wouldn’t be a shock if they created such a mechanism.
But…
Akira: (Now it’s clear why this theatre is so well known in the Western Country, just as Chloe mentioned.)
(Haa… It genuinely turned out to be a good thing to watch.)
Letting out a sigh of admiration, I looked again at the two sitting on either side of me.
White: ……
Snow: ……
White and Snow were silently observing the stage.
The expressions on their faces, despite their compliments, were like a placid ocean.
There was neither joy nor sadness.
It was as they had just seen someone’s life off, accepting everything as it was meant to be.
That was the look in their eyes.

Theatre Manager: Sir Sage and honorable Sage’s Wizards.
Thank you for making this long journey.
Sometime later, the manager came over to us.
He looked to be in his early forties.
He is the sort of man who skillfully wears a luxurious suit and makes an impression with his impressive mustache.
Akira: It is us who should thank you.
Although we are on mission, you provided us with the chance to see something so wonderful…
I’m sincerely grateful!
Chloe: I’ve long dreamed of seeing a puppet show in this theatre just once.
Even before it began, I was curious about what awaited us…
Seeing it, it turned out even better than I thought and I was truly amazed!
Especially the scene where the dolls bid the girl farewell!
The dolls had tear running down their faces, and I almost burst into tears myself.
Rutile: Even though the ending was sad and my heart tightened… It truly seemed that there was once a girl who treasured her dolls and was loved by them in return.
Theatre Manager: …Thank you so much.
Many spectators are saying the same and for us that is, of course, extremely pleasing, but…
He said this, lacing his fingers and looking down, seemingly hesitant.
Theatre Manager: For some time now, only in this spectacle have the puppets started shedding tears on their own.
Akira: What?…
What seemed like part of the play turned out to be something completely different.
The young wizards and I were standing wide eyes.
Heathcliff: It was surprising, but I thought it was just a brilliant technical stage effect…
Shino: Then this must be related to the anomalies that are happening around the theater?
Theatre Manager: You are right, but there’s more to it.
The problem lies in the dolls’ behaviour.
Sometimes their eyes suddenly star to move and the dolls that are supposed to be in their assigned places are found elsewhere.
Initially, we assumed we were just imagining things, or that someone else had moved them. Or maybe it was just a simple mix-up.
…But after witnessing the dolls crying tears during the finale, it became evident that this cannot simply be attributed to an illusion or an error.
Figaro: Now it makes sense why we were invited.
…Manager, you knew about the anomalies, yet you still let the puppet show continue.
So there must have been some serious reasons why you couldn’t stop the show?
Theatre Manager: That’s true…
Because of the theater‘s operating costs and the troupe’s fees.
And more than anything… if possible, I really didn’t want to cancel this show.

1. Actually, the dolls in question are Karakuri ningyō or Karakuri puppets, which are traditional Japanese dolls/puppets that move using an internal mechanism hidden from view. You could say they are the precursors to robots.

Why all this silence? No one is doing anything. Israeli missiles bombed the tents of the displaced at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The bodies of children, women and men were charred. No one was able to save them from the severity of the fire. Why all this failure, O world, where are the rulers? Where are the institutions that claim to be institutions that protect human rights? Where are we? We are going. We have never seen anything like this before. Please make our voice heard to every official, to everyone who can do nothing. O God, be with us, O God
Please, I do not want to lose any of my family, any of my friends, or my relatives. Please save us, stop all this injustice, all these massacres.
These are simple scenes from what happens every day in the north. If people do not die from the missiles, they die from hunger. There is nothing more unfair to humanity than this.
