how did edvard and rees both react to being transferred out of miss peregrine's loop? were they sad, indifferent, happy etc?
2. seeing that rees and victor were best friends, how would you describe their dynamic? was rees present for victor's death? if not, how do you think he would've taken the news?
3. and because i think it'd be funsies ... do you think they would've gotten along with my oc merletta? (creepy gorl)

- i would say for the most part, edvard was indifferent to being moved out, and was actually excited to be being transfered to a loop that he was told had peculiars similar to him (people with abilities that revolve around spirits, dead, etc etc). though him and rees were close (and in some weird "we are but you wont commit" situationship that they never actually solved or confronted) and he was sad about that aspect. rees was probably more upset than him to be honest. their last exchange was giving him (giving his new caretaker, miss raven, because he cant hold things) a photograph of them that edvard for a long time had not liked but was conviced by rees to like it over time. edvard doesnt show up in photos well, so it's mostly just rees and a couple of orbs next to him, but rees convinced him that it was special. originally he took it out of pity, but after being in miss raven's loop for a while, he was really grateful that he had it with him.
rees would stay within the peregrine loop a couple years after edvard's transfer and then be transferred out himself. he was sad about leaving, but carinholm was taking too much of a toll on his health throughout the years; he was constantly injured. claire and victor were the saddest to see him go, but they knew why, and miss peregrine had told them that they will stay in touch via letters.
- aw man :( this one is sad and i have thought about it before. rees left the loop before victor died. he left just shortly after victor had started to become bitter to the looping and started to express his disdain, but it wasnt anything serious at the time. miss peregrine would tell rees' new caretaker, knowing the two of them were close, and she would have to break the news to him. he was absolutely devastated...he didn't leave his room for a couple of days. a few weeks afterwards, miss peregrine sent him a letter upset about victor's lose and hoping him well, and along with it was a photograph of the two of them. rees framed it.
- ah merletta....the gorl 🥹 i really think both yes and no! i think her and edvard would get along really well. edvard's presence isn't anything too intense, and he is generally nice and calm and pleasent to be around. he's like enoch if he wasn't so cold towards everyone, which she likes. rees on the other hand...he's a little loud, chaotic, sometimes showboat-y. i don't think she would vibe with him as much, she would probably think he was annoying lol.
