Nodding as if to officially agree to the plan, he held his hand out to grab the umbrella from her, entirely hell-bent on paying for it, at the very least, to pay her back for the calming presence that she probably didn’t even know she had given him. “Yeah, where are you headed? I’ll walk you there.” Truthfully, it didn’t entirely matter to him whether they were going in the same direction, it wasn’t as if his superiors could kill a ghost for being late to a meeting. He’d manage. “I’m Sungmin, by the way,” he tacked on at the end, certain that a walk in the rain might be less awkward if they felt like they knew each other better.

Hanui was surprised at first that he had thought the idea was a good one --- She didn’t think he would actually agree to do such a thing, but then again, she was very thankful. She smiled warmly at him, feeling completely at ease in his presence which was rare whenever it came to strangers on the street most of the time. She didn’t have her guard up, and again, she felt herself relax with him beside of her. She mimicked him, nodding as well as they somewhat had a silent agreement to the whole plan which would now be taking place --- “I, uh.. well..” she smiled some and looked down from him for a moment and at the floor. “I was going to go home and grab some clothes to change into since I kind of got these ones soaked and order in.. but, you don’t have to take me all the way home” she assured him, her line of vision finally coming back up to meet his again. Hanui was stuck, staring at him, she felt nervous, but then before she knew it these nerves would disappear --- It wasn’t how she usually felt, so she wasn’t too sure how to act without making it very obvious that her nerves were slowly getting the best of her; but who’s wouldn’t? He was a very attractive man.

“Sungmin?” she repeated his name, something she usually did to make sure she remembered it --- She had a feeling his was a name she didn’t want to forget, given with how hard it was for her to keep anyone in her life. “I’m Hanui.. it’s really nice to officially meet you” she smiled at him, again finding herself admiring him up close as she handed over the umbrella. “Would you do me the honor of keeping me company just till we get to....” she stopped for a moment and thought about a location that was in said direction that they agreed upon going, she didn’t want to make it any awkward for him if he took her home, so the next best place popped into her mind finally. “The hospital where I work? I know I have extra clothes there... and you can leave me at the front doors” --- She nodded, hoping her attempt to make things not so much awkward would prevail. 

Hanui quickly plunged her hands into the purse that she had and removed some money, so she could at least pay half of the umbrella with him, “here... I don’t want you paying the whole thing for this.. I would feel bad since I’m gonna be using it as well” --- She admitted, a shy smile now creeping upon her features before slowly disappearing. “Or I guess I could let you pay for it and I could owe you coffee sometime soon whenever we can officially enjoy the fall weather without all this rain coming down on us?”
