fuck it i’m finally making this post because goddamn i wish i saw it when i was younger
to the minors who follow me:
if anyone significantly older than you approaches you on the internet or in real life in a romantic or sexual way, do. not. communicate with them. the second it becomes anything other than respectful or friendly in any way or if they make you even slightly uncomfortable, block. them. cut them out of your life. they are not worth it and they will hurt you. run. protect yourself. and be safe.
They are not different. You are not different. Any adult who feels romantically or sexually toward a minor is just as bad as the types they claim to be different from! You are not mature for your age, you are being manipulated.
They aren’t going after people their own age because grown people know to steer clear.
Do not engage! Red flag! Stay away!! This is not a place of honor, nothing valued is here!
Also be aware of emotional predators (here is a link how to detect ppl emotionally manipulating you)! I’ve had experience with way older adults who are obsessed w seeking validation from younger people that they are drawing you into cult-like groups online!
