Geist surveyed the mansion from the shadows. He had already scoped out the location of the cameras around the building–obviously set up by one who knew the technology. Not that it mattered much to him in the end. The presence of cameras couldn’t stop him from showing up at the house. Of course, not. He was there for a mission.
Not his usual sort of mission, though. He’s used to more intimidation and negotiations than dropping off information in order to benefit. Of course, there wasn’t much of a choice when it came to selecting the best one for this particular job. Anyone else would make it about their egos. The cyborg knew better. It was about getting rid of a common enemy.
Well, there wasn’t any use standing around any longer. He knew their defenses. The guards were busy elsewhere and the one who led those inside the household was standing in plain view, practically staring at him. He placed a hand in his pocket and walked into view, feeling those blue eyes staring him down as he approached.
He stopped at the door and rang the bell. Sighing, he waited for someone to open the door. He knew there was no guarantee that it would be the one he came to see, though the chances were rather high. A strange man in a white suit showing up at this particular address could very well be seen as being associated with the Union. Something he would be quick to deny. He would rather stay associated with G.O.D. than deal with them.
Pulling down the blinds to the window, Frankenstein felt himself quick to make his way to the door before the bell even rang. This was one person he didn’t want to chance any of the others meeting before him.
This felt like one person he needed to meet personally and privately and anyone else might just ruin it. Normally he’d think especially one specific person, but maybe any one of them might mess it up.
One might just get too needy to get information, another might try to goat him into a fight in the middle of his mansion, and who knows what might happen with the others. He felt a small headache form from the thought, placing a small hand on his head on the spot.
They were great guards and together a wonderful team, but sometimes it was like a giant group he had to keep on leash.
This was a case when that leash had to be pulled tight, and it was going to be held far from the situation until he knew just what that situation would be. Hearing the door bell, he knew it was soon that it would all come out at him. Deep breath, a small delay to make it not-as-obvious he hurried silently to the door, before opening it with a small bow.
“Welcome, whom is it I am currently speaking to?” Putting on a butler like persona and putting a ‘who are you and why are you here’ question in the most polite way possible to hide attitude was the best thing he could think of. “Do you have business here?”
