ok so for like a month and a half I have been making a plush toy for my younger sister and I finally finished making this little fella

it's supposed to be a hedgehog and hope it DOES look like one

im very proud of how it turned out because I have never made toys before that

so I hope he's going to be loved and cherished

ok and now a bonus process of making:

so first of all I needed to make a pattern BUT I don't know how to make one, there is a website that lets you make a pattern from a 3d model, but I don't know how to 3d model, so.. my solution is — make a 3d model in real life

I took aluminum foil, clay, paper duct tape and made needed shape

tinfoil + clay

make a mummy with tape

draw a pattern

put it on paper

after which I cut out a pattern, added needed details and put it onto the fabric

then it was time to make a prototypes

prototupe 1, where im trying to figure out the body

(this one has the ideal face shape that i couldn't recreate again for some reason)

(a cat break, he's not allowed to be on the table)

cut out the pieces and sew them together

now he can sit

also i added some weight to him so he's a bit heavy, which is good

(and i added a little secret which is a heart inside)

BUT

he's still naked

what kind of hedgehog is this if he doesn't have needles

so i decided to crochet some for him

almost finished

then i sew the needles on him, to keep them in place i put a lot pins

and thats it

Hello! I made a dress from scratch for the Renaissance Faire. It took me six months to make the chemise, hoop skirt, under skirt, over skirts, French knot embroidered bodice, crown and jewelry. I am very excited to wear it this year despite how serious I look in the photos! (2025)
