Been thinking...
((Of opening up another side-blog for another character, since activity in this one has slowed down a bit. And because I sort of feel like it. How exactly would I go about it))?
Twitch snuck into the bear's office invisibly. It wasn't hard to get to since Zaun was under Piltover. He saw him sitting in his little comfy chair. Good. The rodent quickly closed the door to block off any witnesses. "Hello!" Twitch whispered rather loudly. "Hehe.. You know this stupid bright surface city right? The Goopy One left for his creators for this thing called 'Snowdown'. He said that the creators live somewhere in the outskirts of this miserable city.. Tell me where they live bear."
Volibear smelled Twitch coming first, followed shortly thereafter by hearing the little scratches of his claws on the floor and of him opening and closing the door. Though, that much was hard to miss. The Ursine replied to the rat’s greeting with only a deep, heavy sigh and a roll of the eyes hidden behind his shades. To the rat’s question, he only answered with a quirked brow. Even he was not terribly familiar with the human concept of Snowdown, but he’d been around long enough to understand it was a time to spend with family. Always one to be blunt, Volibear cut right to the chase.
“I don’t know,” he answered, truthfully as ever. “You should have asked him, or someone that might know. But there’s very few places where people actually live on the outskirts. Tracking him down should be simple.” And with that, he lowered his gaze once more to the paperwork atop his desk, with every intention of focusing on it once again.

((Excerpt from a letter to the Ursine. Translation.))
There are far, far more Yordles in this city than in the Freljord. Strange creatures. Difficult to get used to their presence, and more often than not I seem to bump into them without even noticing. Odd and tiresome, for the most part. It is apparent that they are accustomed to a much better place than the Freljord. One such individual - I cannot even recall his name - acts often like a child despite their supposed longevity. Either way, they’re also quite a bit more deadly than most would suspect. If nothing else, they harder easier to tell apart than humans.

Z.A.C
Esteemed Mrs. Bakington,
We have received your concern and complaints (on numerous occasions, at that) about the frequent presence of an ‘enormours, fetid goo monster’ near the Border Markets. You are correct to assume he is Zaunite in origin, however, I can assure you is all but dangerous.
It goes by Z.A.C and if you spoke to it, you’d find it is one of Zaun’s more noble children, for what that entails, and he would not even hurt you if you asked him to. So, you’ve nothing to worry about, and yes, your children will be safe at night and not ‘devoured’ by Z.A.C.
We thank you for your concern.

...not the only case of a “talking animal” in the city, as humans like to refer to us. There are a few others, here and there, but I believe you’d be most interested in hearing about the rat. Small to us, but quite large for a thing of his kind. Sadly, he seems to let the intelligence he’s gained fester and rot away under a pile of violent tendencies and obsessions, likely born of the poor place in which he’s had to live. I find him to be a great shame - with much potential, but squandering all of it. Only sometimes do I believe there might be a chance of redemption still in his mind.
And yes, the fish is extremely good! I-...

📨 also hello
((📨 for a text my muse would send to yours.))
Greetings Oriaanna.
Thid iss Volibear. I apoloogize if this is clumsu. I cannto get used to this contraption.
Anyhow. We were wondering if you’d seen a man. Tall, dark hair. Prblby Shuriman.
He’s wanted.
...
This is a random passerby. I’m helping the officer with his message. ...the way he’s glaring at me is kind of scary. Anyway, he just wants to thank you for your trouble.
💒 for the toast my muse would give at your muse’s wedding.
"Ahem. Unsurprisingly, many of you present today are human. First and foremost, I will let you all know that my people do not truly have a concept of "marriage", in the same way that humans do. It is but one of many customary differences between our kinds. And though we do not make all these grandiose celebrations, nor have I had to prepare such a speech before, we certainly have an equivalent to the bold decision of linking oneself to another for all of time.""Despite our many differences, you, the humans of the Freljord, know as well as the Ursine of the hardships of this land. Perhaps, even more, as you make do without fur or claws or the capacity to swim easily when the streams are melted. And yet our land remains the most beautiful in all of Runeterra, for these ugly hardships only make its beauty purer, like the white snow that is our ground or the radiant lights of the sky. Love, too, is to many a beautiful thing, and to find such a thing amongst the white and cold is a warmth that remains in one's heart even when parted from their mat-... ahem. Partner. Though few plants may, it can bloom even here.""Lady Lissandra of the Frostguard may be supporting the Avarosan in the current conflict, and yet this is of little concern to me. I simply wish to see Freljord strong enough to resist the horrors which I know are coming, and today is not a day to speak of these horrors, but to build some of that strength that is sorely needed. Love is a form of strength. The Frostguard, despite their allegiances, devote themselves to preserving the Freljord's ancient wisdom and customs, something even my own people regrettably stopped doing for some time, until very recently. This is an endeavor that cannot be ignored, and one for which we should all be grateful. On this day, I hope, Lady Lissandra will be making her ancestors proud. Thank you."...(Mumbling, after sitting down again.) "Human traditions are stranger up close."
Post a song that best describes your muse
Then tag 5 people to do the same. Tagged by: @a-rat-and-a-blob
Clearly, it’s this.
Nah. I’m actually not sure which I’d go for, since there are many fitting songs. However, I can always link others in case I see this asked again. For now...
Here.
Why? Firstly, the wintry tone of the song is already an obvious bonus. The way it starts is basically perfect to close your eyes and suddenly picture yourself climbing up the steep, winding, rough side of an enormous mountain, unable to see much more than your own breath in the flurry of snow thrown about by wild northern winds. And yet the wind is hardly as loud as the thundering storm, constantly raging above your head, at the mountain’s peak. Anyone else would turn back, but you know you have to do this.
Basically, it’s a perfect song for Volibear’s classic lore. When it reaches the hype-y, main part, it’s perfect for envisioning all sorts of things, from the Ursine people charging into war, to the wide, sweeping motion of Volibear’s claws in battle. The drumbeats can hit just as thunder booms. And the way the song persists and never loses its ‘strength’ is a perfect analogy for Volibear’s own resilience and goddamn tankiness why does he never die.
I’d tag someone, but I’m new. Again. (In fact I saw this three days after I was tagged, sorry.) Anyone who wants to do this, should!

"Oh! Volibear! You're back! Nice to see you again," ZAC greeted. "Also, me and Twitch live below you now, so... that's good!"
“Mhm”, he grunted, by manner of greeting. The trip to Freljord had taken longer than expected. He hadn’t remember it and Piltover being so far apart, before. Maybe he’d have to quit the job.
“I see. Yes.” He clears his throat. “Good.”
Oh no.
*hands a muffin* "Welcome back."
“...oh, thank you!”
Not that he’d have come back sooner if he’d known. Totally not.

((So yeah.
Sorry to everyone for disappearing like that. A mixture of real-life business and dwindling interest on here seemed like a good moment for me to duck out, catch a breath of fresh air, and then dive right back into the fray! I’ll be updating more frequently and trying to find more... well, people. Because you’re all great, and I’m sorry again for disappearing.))

ZAC looked around, opening many locked doors as he could. He couldn’t find anyone.. Where could he be..? He would shout for help, but he didn’t want to be heard in the eerily quiet, dark halls of the facility. He should head towards Volibear now.. Maybe they could find him together.. He ran towards the stairway and used his large green hands to open the door. A loud creaking sound came out. Footsteps came over immediately.. The soldiers nearby.. The blob slid through the door and slammed it closed. He dropped down to the first floor with a loud splat.

Luckily enough, the Ursine didn't seem to encounter anyone on the stairs. Luckily, clearly, not for him, but for whomever might've had the misfortune of encountering an irritated Volibear alone. That solitude only lasted until he'd made it almost entirely up the stairs, where he encounted Z.A.C, and he looked like he'd been in a hurry. Before he even got to ask any questions, the experimental being's arms were around his bulky frame, and Volibear could do little more than awkwardly stand there as Z.A.C expressed his relief. "Of course I'm alr-..." he began, but just then the power went out. At Z.A.C's question, Volibear gave an instinctive nod, then realized it wouldn't have been seen, and rumbled out "I believe it can." It was worth trying, anyway. The bear approached the place where he remembered the door being, placing his paw on a console that had been by it, and sending a surge of electricity through it. Sure enough, there was the wooshing sound of the way opening.
The bear grinned to himself for an instant and stood aside so that Z.A.C could go through first. "No sign of Twitch, I see," the Ursine commented dryly. Obviously if ther at had been there, he knew well enough that he'd already have been able to smell or hear him. Probably both. "We should stick together if we can now, though, just to be safe," he added, with a quick nod to Z.A.C.
