heya sorry i havent been here today to work on starters and replies but ill get to them when i get up tomorrow!

      SHINOBU couldn’t say she was particularly FOND of the Ice Pillar. For one reason or another, he never failed to get on her NERVES and it was to the point she would rather not be near him at times. It wasn’t as if he did her any wrong but it was his PERSONALITY alone that always made her time LESS pleasurable. ❛ Thank you for the materials but you didn’t need to personally come by to do this. I think it’s a WASTE of time, Douma-san. ❜

   “ I’m doing pretty fine, Kocho-san. Thanks for asking! “

   Big words, for someone whose left arm was currently held against his chest by a sling, and whose ribs had been fractured by a few unlucky blows, body a bloody mess by the time he had been picked up… How the hell was he smiling now when he had come close – too close – to dying?     Even with his reputation for recklessness, this was a little much!

   “ I’m grateful that you’re letting me stay here. I guess I’m not too unlucky after all. “

      IT certainly was big words coming from someone who was SEVERELY injured with not just broken bones but with fractured ribs just as well. He truly was FORTUNATE enough to have her manage to arrive just in time before he quickly bled out. It was certainly a wonder to how he kept smiling through all this ( she was quite reminiscent of a certain demon slayer with hanafuda earrings ). Makoto was probably better at this than she was — no that wasn’t right, he was far more GENUINE than she was.  

      ❛ Well, you would’ve ended up DEAD if you weren’t treated immediately so the easiest option was to bring you to my estate. It’s great to see that you’re in good spirits at the very least. Don’t push yourself too hard and rest up. ❜

Again with the phrase which had Giyuu biting his tongue and looking away. He wasn’t TRYING to be disliked by anyone, but he definitely felt disliked by Shinobu right now.

     ❛ OH, but doesn’t Kamado-kun like everyone ? You’d have to be pretty NASTY to get him to dislike you but I suppose you got a start somewhere. ❜ She was still patiently waiting for him to ADMIT it but she supposed he did end up doing so in a rather roundabout way. 

     ❛ Still, you won’t get anywhere with that stupid LONER act. Let’s practice smiling, come on, it’s not that hard ! ❜

Breath was drawn, the homunculus stepped back at the sound of a voice. The woman in front of her is someone of great power compared to other civilians who she’d met before. This one, she was different! Cardia had to think twice before speaking up, hands hidden behind her back as she tried to prove that she didn’t intend to attack another. What did she mean by ‘what are you’, huh? Could she feel… these demons could, so that would mean…!  “Um, I was just trying to protect the villagers. There were several kids who were playing here, they already ran away. I thought it was natural for me to protect them.”  The woman relaxed her stance as she pointed with a nod into the direction where the children ran away.  “I’m sorry, is this your territory? I’m afraid I’m still unaccustomed to the culture of this country.” 

     SHINOBU never meant to STARTLE the poor girl but she supposed she did just present herself before her without any WARNING whatsoever so her CAUTION was warranted. With that, she offered the other a simple smile. ❛ Ah, sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you. It’s nothing like that. I was just CURIOUS to know how you managed fend off those demons but I should give you my thanks. If it weren’t for you, those kids probably would’ve been DEAD by now. ❜ And here was yet another FRUSTRATION on the Hashira’s part but she supposed she should be GRATEFUL that no lives were lost this time around. 

     ❛ More importantly, you aren’t a normal person, are you ? ❜

      ❛ HMM. I never thought there would be anyone else capable of SLAYING a demon aside from us Demon Slayers. You certainly took me by SURPRISE. So, what are you exactly ? ❜ From the looks of it, she wasn’t any ordinary human but she wasn’t a demon either. Shinobu couldn’t deny that she was quite FASCINATED by the woman before her.

      ❛ NAEGI-KUN, how are you holding up ? I heard you were pretty RECKLESS this time around. ❜ She supposed when it came to the matter of life or death, she certainly couldn’t say much to it. Although, it was a fact that he acted ALONE when this all happened so it was a SURPRISE he even managed to SURVIVE this. After all, she heard from him that it was a TOUGH one.

     ❛ WHEN you say things like that, it’s no wonder why you’re DISLIKED by people. ❜ In some ways, she supposed she was EXAGGERATING to an extent ( and being quite a bully at that ) but when he said things like this, it certainly didn’t fail to strike a few NERVES. It only led her to tug on his cheeks harder. ❛ Come now, don’t be shy, Tomioka-san. If you just admit it, I’ll be more than happy to TEACH you how to become popular. ❜
