Hey, everybody! So, this has been a long time coming for a while, I think. I haven’t seriously used this website in a long time, way before the higher ups decided to go all Handmaid’s Tale about sex and start flagging our posts at random.

But since I still list this url on some promo material I haven’t been able to reprint yet, I thought it would be a good idea to officially state:

THIS BLOG IS CLOSED FOR BUSINESS

I’ll definitely miss tumblr, the same way I’ll miss college. It brought me both amazing connections and a ton of awkwardness I’d rather forget, and I made a lot of great and terrible art in the name of both. But it’s time for me to move on.

Assuming Tumblr doesn’t find a reason to nuke it, I won’t be deleting this blog. It’ll be good to keep around as an archive, but I’m definitely not coming back to this garbage fire website.

Thanks so much to everybody that’s stuck around with me for so long, for enjoying and sharing my artwork. I can’t express how much I appreciate it. If you haven’t already, please check out some of the other online spaces I hang out in:

And please bookmark my website, because I’m planning on continuing this blog in a different form over there eventually. In this time of idiotic social media crackdowns, I think the best place for me to keep updating the world about what I’m drawing is somewhere I’m the one paying the rent.

So I recently planned a trip to Fort Lauderdale in mid-June with the excellent @chriscalmdown and now it looks like he has unmissable schedule conflicts and can’t come. The AirBNB is already booked up (and, for that matter, the flight is all booked) so if you’re up for taking over Chris’s share of that situation and spending a few days making beach-proximate bad decisions in South Florida, let me know and we’ll make it happen. If you’re concerned that I’d be terrible company - that’s valid, but also references available upon request, if that would be helpful? Probably need to sort this out soon before flights get pricey and vacation time gets tricky. I’ll be reblogging this a few times over the next few days, so apologies in advance for that.
