A look back. Art from the 90's mostly. Airbrush. I did NOT know how to use a computer yet.
Working in Zbrush, Blender, Maya, Photoshop--- I explored a pipeline to create comics (hopefully) faster. I have my own original IP stories that I want to use it on. But-- because I would just spend forever trying to get it right, it's faster to use something already familiar to see how it works. So I chose Godzilla. Godzilla has always been my absolute favorite art escape since I was very young. In this case, I thought up a quick story for the 1978 cartoon-- in which I re-imagined it a little differently. I have about 28 pages illustrated all together.
My Godzilla sculpt-- done in Zbrush, rendered in Maya3D.
Just for fun, I re-animated the intro to an old cartoon from long ago. Anybody remember this one? Done with Blender, Zbrush, Photoshop, After Effects. It's just silly fun. It's still WIP and Could use a little more work before I put it in my bag, but it's share-worthy at this point, at least.
THIRD EYE PICKS OF THE WEEK: WEREWOLVES VS. DINOSAURS #1 – Claw vs Talon! Fur vs Scales! Supernatural vs Prehistoric!
Werewolves vs. Dinosaurs kicks off an incredible one of a kind creature feature that will slap you in the face with a heaping dose of awesome!
Cade can’t catch a break. Instead of a sleepy little deserted town, he finds himself in the middle of a supernatural smack down orchestrated by mysterious men in black.
Werewolves Vs. Dinosaurs is a runaway train full of over-the-top carnage and conspiracies that will remind you of the wildest grindhouse film ever made.
Coming in a couple of weeks... At the printers right now.
It’s happening. This month.
