Lily put her phone down with a sigh, âDefine okay?â She asked, âI donât know how to fix this, itâs like roadblocks are meeting me at every turn.âÂ
âWhatâs wrong with it?â he asked.
jacquelinexhendersonxadamsâ:
âHuh?â Jack looked up from her work on her altered prosthetic leg and smiled, âMe? Yeah, Iâm fine. Sorry, were you saying something? If Iâm in the zone, youâve either gotta yell or throw something at me to get my attention,â She joked, âEverything okay?â
âYeah, Iâm fine,â Christian said. âYou just looked a little like your were in pain or something, maybe itâs just your concentration face.â
cassiaxxrosiâ:
âUhâŠâ Cassia thought about not telling him. She hadnât told anyone a whole lot about her family and especially not what she had done. But this didnât have anything to do with the latter, âItâs my fatherâs birthday today,â She said finally, âItâs not a big deal really. I donât even do anything but I was just thinking about it and what my life would be like if he was still around, if he was still in my life. Itâs fine. Iâm fine.â
âNo youâre not,â Christian said, he took a seat next to her. Like she knew about his past, Christian vaguely knew about Cassiaâs. Mostly how her Dad wasnât exactly the greatest person, just like his. âI think about that too,â he admitted. âIf I had stayed in Florida. I think itâs normal to think about that.â
âHey,â Christian started, going over to the other who looked slightly distressed. âAre you alright?â
noradeansâ:
âHow can you not like sunsets?â Nora questioned, âThatâs like saying you donât like the northern lights, or you know, anything thatâs naturally beautiful.â
âOkay, sunsets and the northern lights are two completely different things. Plus, with sunsets, comes night time, which means it gets cold, and dark, and neither of those things are very pleasant.â
charlottesdawsonâ:
âExcept youâre an adult now, youâre allowed to watch trashy shows like these. Whoâs going to stop you now?âÂ
âHumans are creatures of habit,â Christian replied with a slight shrug.
jacquelinexhendersonxadamsâ:
âAgain, I think itâs more about being able to than actually wanting to.â
âCome on Jack, if anyone can overcome insane odds, itâs you. No offense, but youâre the most stubborn person I know.â
pcnclopcxcarmichaclâ:
âWait, are you crazy? I thought I was the crazy one in this friendship,â Penny joked.
âYou are if youâre going to take on the task of teaching me how to swim,â Christian replied with a laugh.
noradeansâ:
đ â our muses watch the sunset together
âIâm surprised you havenât got your camera out for this,â Nora grinned at the other. âSunsets are much more beautiful than the photos you have to take for the Gazette.â
@christianohareâ
Christian shrugged slightly. âI donât really like sunsets.â
sadiematthewsâ:
đ- our muses come across a wild animal in the forest
âWhat the heck was that?â Sadie tensed up as a shadow quickly crossed their path. âChristian⊠what the hell? What do we do? Please tell me you were a boy scout or something as a kid.â
@christianohareâ
âA boy scout? Who do you peg me as?â Christian asked. âUh, back away slowly maybe?â
valeriasgarciaâ:
đ„- our muses hang out by the fire
âDid you really think I wouldnât come prepared?â she scoffed playfully before pulling out a beer each, handing Christian one with a grin, âWho do you take me for?â
@christianohareâ
âI donât know, but you know my favorite, I think you have like alcohol powers.â
maxswatscnâ:
đ- our muses play ping pong/beer pong
âYouâre not secretly some ping pong nor beer pong champion right?â Max asked with a chuckle as they approached where people were playing. âBecause Iâm decent at either but if youâre a pro Iâm not liking my chances so much.â
@christianohareâ
Christian shook his head. âIâve never actually played before.â
emsreedâ:
âșïž- our muses pitch a tent - @christianohareâ
âRight, uh, I need C.â Emma spoke, searching through the smaller pile of poles next to her. âDid you move it?âÂ
âNo, I have D,â Christian replied. âI thought you had C.â
charlottesdawsonâ:
đ- our muses come across a wild animal in the forest - @christianohareâ
âChris, uh,â Charlotte started, pausing as she stared into the bushes practically frozen her only move was raising her arms to try and stop him from taking another step, âI⊠donât think thatâs a cat.â She said, starting to squint in the distance, âWhat is that?â
âWhy are you asking me?â Christian asked. âI barely know what some cats look like, let along something that isnât a cat.â
sagekingstcnâ:
đČ - our muses go to search for firewood
âSo did you volunteer for this or get stuck with it like me?â Sage asked, laughing a little as she tried to make conversation with the other.
@christianohareâ
âI kind of got stuck with it. My best friend told me I should go do it, and here I am. Though part of me just wants to find a nice tree and draw, but she knows me too well and will come looking for me.â
jacquelinexhendersonxadamsâ:
âAlright, letâs do it. No time to waste right?â
âYep! Iâm sure once youâre up there, youâll never want to come down.â
pcnclopcxcarmichaclâ:
âWell then I can teach you,â Penny said with a smile, âBecause I can think of nothing better than a day at the lake with my favourite boy.â
âYou sure you want to teach me. Itâs going to be a little crazy.â
