What I’ve Done in 2020

This year has been something I’m sure we all could have never imagined, but one thing that I am grateful for is that it allowed me the chance to slow down a bit and actually get all these ideas out of my head and actually put them to paper. Reading all of the amazing Richonne fan fiction by all of the incredibly talented writers in this fandom inspired me to create works of my own and I can’t thank you all enough for the encouragement. To anyone who has taken the time to read any of my works Thank you Thank you Thank you! It means the world to me. Here are my 5 works from 2020.
1.) What the Heart Wants
Status: Work in Progress - My 2021 goal is to get back to this story soon. Fingers crossed!
Summary: Dandy Fic - Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira try to make sense of their feelings for each other. Diving into the lives of the actors who play Rick Grimes and Michonne aka Richonne.
A/N - This was my first fic that I’ve written and I was so nervous to even put this out there because I know it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but the response to this story was so amazing and it gave me the courage to work on some other stories.
2.) New Beginnings
Status: Complete
Summary: Michonne and her son Andre are new to Kings County. She finally gets to meet the father of the her son's new best friend at a birthday party down on the farm and sparks fly. Pure Richonne fluff! Michonne, Rick Grimes, Carl, Andre and a few other familiar faces sprinkled through.
A/N - This was just a fun little one shot I had in my head for a while. I love the idea of Andre still being alive in stories so wanted to write something with him and Carl being the same age and best friends. That of course leads to love for their parents.
3.) Love’s a Brewing - A Richonne Halloween Tale
Status: Complete
Summary: Love is brewing between Rick and Michonne in this fluffy Team Family Halloween tale! Includes the faves Rick, Michonne, Carl, Andre and Judith. Messy Jessie makes an appearance.
A/N - This one was so much fun to write. I love Halloween wanted to write something with Grimes 2.0. Had to include Andre in this one as well. Having Messy Jessie in the story was fun to write too! I love when either her or Lori are around to create a little drama.
4.) Friendsgiving
Status: Complete
Summary: Long held secrets are revealed as the ladies host their annual Friendsgiving dinner. One shot; Fluffy, humorous Richonne AU about Rick and Michonne. Daryl & Sasha and Shane & Andrea, and a few other familiar faces make an appearance.
A/N: These are all my favorite couplings in this story and I loved the idea of them all being best friends and getting together to celebrate Thanksgiving with their friends.
5.) A Frosty Reception - A Richonne Christmas Story
Status: In Progress (Next chapter should be up real soon!)
Summary: Michonne accepts an invitation to visit her sister Sasha's new in-laws for the holidays. The addition of an unexpected guest leaves a salty taste in Michonne's mouth. Will the two stay at odds or will Christmas magic melt the icy chill between them?
A/N: I got the idea for this one from all the Hallmark Christmas movies I was watching so I just took pieces from all of them and came up with this one with the faves.
