Tina’s baking adventures: this morning I whipped up some maple honey oatmeal muffins with matcha, chia seeds, chocolate chips and raisins 😇
Baking adventures this weekend! Made different variations of a really nice basic coconut flour vanilla cake in the form of cupcakes with a funny buttercream slime-esque frosting, chocolate chips, chia seeds and more and a pretty Mother's Day cake finished off with homemade raspberry whipped cream frosting and a bundle of mixed berries! Not as decorated as my plant cupcakes but... learning how to make things from scratch is a part of my progress 😇
I GET SO TIRED FROM DISCUSSING MY FUTURE IVE STARTED IGNORING THE PEOPLE I LOVE EVENINGS OF SILENCE AND MORNINGS OF NAUSEA SHAKE AND SWEAT AND YA CANT THROW UP NO NO
Today's doodle while I work my desk job and switch back and forth from this boring word document and photoshop 😇
Last week I made little house plant / cactus cupcakes! Here are some photos. I can't wait to make them again! It was my first time using a piping bag and different tips 😇

Been listening to a lot of Electric Wizard lately
Sketches for a local band’s new single, still unpacking >:)
Currently in the process of moving so I guess it's a good time to say I'll be on a very small hiatus! I was asked to show at a local bar in May so guess what I'll be doing the moment I'm settled in my new place! *cue Rihanna's "Work"*
Here are the other two pieces that were in the Inebri-art Spring Art Show: The top piece is from about a year ago. It was my first painting from when I started my current job and started really making art again and reclaiming “creepiness” and also my personal favorite. (http://christina-scott.com/2016/5/27/2016/5/27/internal-void-being-filled) The bottom piece has been reworked several times. I did this back in like, 2014, and slowly started to fix some bits of it two weeks ago and turned into redoing the entire thing. I like it ten times more now and I think I am finished finally working on it. Ahah, it’s on my website for what it used to look like here: (http://christina-scott.com/my7u5tow3q6p1zbhhknwjyqsmagy39)
This weekend I had three pieces in a local art show and my still-life won 3rd place! This is my newest and the first in my series based on Exposure and Response Prevention, which I’m using in my therapy for OCD. I’ve been setting up still-life pieces using objects that cause distress and trigger intrusive, obsessive thoughts in hopes of exposing myself to them in a creative atmosphere. The goal of ERP is to expose and control your response, which is typically mental or physical rituals. Giving myself a goal, like creating a piece of art, has helped ease myself into this. I am constantly exposing myself to really distressing objects and responding in a positive way. It feels really good to capitalize on my mental illness and produce something productive. I’m really looking forward to finishing up the rest of these and propelling forward off of this accomplishment.

I was featured on Art School Acid Dropout’s podcast Art School Acid Podcast and I talk about growing up and the ups and downs of finding yourself and my mental illness and development and my childhood pet, a tarantula named Margarita, all in relation to my art!! Give it a listen! Thanks to my good friends Maddalena (who I make @Gregorythefetus with!) and Grant for having me both on their live show a few months ago and now their podcast!!
Really enjoying how this cutie is coming along!
Snowstorm means binge watching Are You The One? and painting up a storm for this weekend!
Still-life 1 progress!
