It bothered me when I did my figure sculpture assignment of this character I just sculpted a generic face, so I tried to sculpt how the character actually looked in the movie with this bust. Wasn't necessarily successful, but it looks kind of cool.

This was a figure sculpture class assignment I basically just did Pan's Labyrinth fan art.
BABY’S FIRST SCREEN PRINT.
Color done in PS to get an idea of what colors I'll use to screen print this. I call it: SPACECRYSTALHEADTHING... I'm very creative.

Another Sci-Fi illustration class assignment, this was "Where None Have Yet Traveled" I think it's pretty self explanatory. This is just the value drawing for that'll have color applied to it later.
This was my first assignment for my Sci-Fi illustration class, the subject was to do a domestic event, I might have stretched those boundaries a bit but basically it's like a future library run entirely by one robot.
I've totally been neglectful of this blog so I'm gonna make a bout of "new" posts today, I uploaded this on facebook and it's in about the same state it was in before... A lot of issues but it's better than my previous Portraits so there.
My thesis illustrations based on the Hunchback of Notre Dame, approached as environment concept illustrations.
Overall looking at these is like rubbing sandpaper on my eyeballs but I think it's good just to post this stuff.
Now I have an obligation to make more.
My final Illustration for my thesis class at SVA, I decided to do something NOT environment related. It was definitely time for a break from that madness. It's based on the original book the movie The Thing was based on "Who Goes There?". There was this one scene that stuck out at me where each crew member's blood was being tested to figure out who was the impostor.
Some final renders of the Humphrey Bogart model I made, ultimately I feel like it could have come out better especially around the eyes. OH WELL.
Werkin' on a new study.
I've been wanting to do more hard surface modeling so here's my attempt at a helmet. Comment or critique is nice. :D
Color + likeness practice trying to force myself to use color which a desperately avoid like the plague.
