Clara Juliet Lin (C, Lara, Jules) was born forty two years ago in Maple Brook, on December 30, 1980. Her mother - Colette Murray-Lin - was an author that taught Clara storytelling from a young age. Her father - Hao Lin - a chef that worked in the kitchen his parents owned raised her and her sister Alice Lin - together in a small two bedroom cottage in Richmond, right here in Maple Brook. Once she'd grown - her mother's love for books and her father's love for cultural cuisine deeply embedded in her roots - Clara moved to Seattle, Washington where she recieved a Bachelor's in English Literature with a minor in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington. After graduation she began working for a publishing company that was about an hour outside of Maplebrook, and was later joined by her younger sister. It was after a fall out with her sister - one that happened a decade ago at this point - that sent her packing, building her own life outside of that of her family. She now works as a librarian at the local library. She is single, lives in Culver's Point in a renovated greenhouse and lives her life as best she can with her blue Russian cat Darcy.
