1975 Vintage Aladdin Stanley Thermos - 100 Cup - Straps and handle addition Performed some research on this particular Stanley thermos. The gentleman that owned it was an ironworker and it appears as though the handle was made by him and attached to the thermos with clamps. The bottom of the thermos indicates A 75 which means it was made in 1975 between January and March. "This vintage Aladdin Stanley Thermos 945b is a rare find that will be a great addition to any collector's collection. The unique 'Will Not Break' feature of this thermos makes it a highly sought after item in the market." This thermos is missing the stopper and it is not usable in it's present condition. It was clearly loved, used a LOT and stored for some time. During my research, I came across ways in which these can be "cleaned up". However, I would personally refrain using it for its intended purpose. I would consider this to be more of a display / collector's item. This thermos is a two cup and measures 16 1/2" high with the cap. It's 14 1/4" round.
