        Cerberus smirked to himself. It wouldn’t be Harley unless she was giving someone in the club HELL. Not that he really MINDED at all, just kept the wolves on their toes. This was no different, maybe then Rafe would learn not to challenge his authority after this. Poor pup. 

        “Sorry it took me so long to say I love you.” Should have said it that night, but he was so caught up trying to keep his hide on his skin and not be kicked out of the pack due to being CAUGHT kissing the ALPHA’S daughter. That was the night that her father had learned he wasn’t dealing with just any other stray wolf on the streets too. If Cerberus wanted that crown then he would have taken it, but being young and dumb and no ready to lead their people at the time he only fought to LIVE.

       “How could I ever FORGET?” That kiss was fresh on his mind for years. When the two got back from their hunt and run it was right around the time that Harley’s birthday was coming up. The moon wasn’t helping him hide his feelings any. A small grin crossed his lips “You was wearin’ my leather jacket and the night was unusually cool for that time of the year.” 

their YOUTH felt like a LIFETIME ago but harley could remember it all as if it was YESTERDAY. through all the CHAOS and TURMOIL -- mostly caused by her father -- cerberus had been the BRIGHT spot through all of it. she could FONDLY recall the day her father brought him home -- and a part of harley SWORE that was the moment that she fell in love with him. time only made them CLOSER but she never thought she’d be in this position with him now. where she was not only an ALPHA but one that was reigning at his side. 

            harley wouldn’t have it any other way.

                    “Better late than never, hm?” she responded, a RARE moment of OPTIMISM she’d only save for him. harley’s loved cer for MOST of her life but them being together NOW felt right. “Plus, you were always a lil’ slow. Don’t blame ya for not catchin’ on soon ‘nough.” was added PLAYFULLY, grinning up at him. 

                       the moment he recounted played VIVIDLY in her brain, the smile on her face one of CONTENT and WARMTH. “I don’t think I eva felt safer then when you pulled me into your arms.” harley added, blue eyes GLIMMERING with every ounce of love she harbored for him. “I didn’t want you to let me go.”
