I saw Iron Lung last night in an abandoned plaza with only the sign for the movie theater to light up the parking lot. I went in with a migraine and left with a worse one.. very immersive lol. I've never cared enough about a movie to go to an early release, let alone feeling as awful as I did but this was important to me. The movie was awesome. It had a unique identity, not just another Markiplier project (as much as i love those) nor a shitty Video Game Movie™️. Maybe I'll give a more spoilery review after more ppl have seen it the weekend but Ough. I needed this

I get it XD I too hold a real fond spot for the Author/Host, especially with how little is known on the Host. Do you think of him as a separate ego to Author but related to him, a post danger in fiction Author, or an unrelated ego altogether? People vary,,, personally in my interpretation, Host is just Author later on. Same person, no regret besides being pissed he’s gained the knowledge of Actor’s tale, + being shot. Only reason both are ‘around’ at the same time is because of the canon whacky time shenanigans, and because Actor has quite the ego XD

Short answer: different guy but the same guy

Complicated answer: i think of Host as new entity that Author accidentally turned himself into, so a different soul but same body. I have a more arty summary here but basically my interpretation is that Author tried to use his reality bending powers on himself and Host is the fucked up result. I flip flop on whether Host should have Author’s memories or not.

But yea its fun to imagine if they could be around at the same time ^_^ bullshit mcu timeline means no rulessss

Who’s some of your favorite egos? Least favorite?

My favorite is definitely The Host. It’s ridiculous because he has like 30 seconds of screentime, no real lore, and will never appear again but goddammit if he didnt imprint in my mind way back when. I loved cyndago and i still remember the ‘goodbye’ video..everything was so abrupt and tragic when it ended. But the stories are still there. And i think im really compelled by the gaps left, like when youre looking at a shape in the dark; theres just enough there to guide your imagination. So yea, Host is my fav because im sentimental and ive made up a bunch of shit about him in my head.

Secondary favorite is Wilford and Abe as a pair, I think theyre some of the best of mark’s writing and also WMLW is awesome. And theyre sillys <3

Least favorite……Idk if I’ve thought about this before 👁👁 Come closer,,, can i say something controversial,,,,, i do not care for Eric Derekson 🏃
