Been a while, but here’s a long overdo setting sketch. Trying to break outta art block by throwing myself into some new experimental styles.

One last tree experiment (for now). I wanted to mess with the branch shapes and leaf colors. I was going for a very ‘fantasy’/space look.

Just some more testing with making different sorts of trees using a combination of brushes. This time I tried to make some birch trees.

Did some drawing practice, one for trying out methods of making effective color palettes with the least amount of colors, using only filters to add additional levels of shades or highlights. Feel free to use the color palettes in there too, I made sure to make it easy to eye-dropper them out.

Second part is mostly seeing if i could make a brush preset to quickly create trees and such, I’d say it was a moderate success, now I just gotta make a leaf brush for other tree species so I can knock out some backgrounds real quick!

While I do draw, all the illustration worthy ones I end up with tends to be very spoilery and also usually uploaded hours/days after completion because reasons. Now enjoy some unexplained character conflict while I sketch more designs between days of playing games and pissing around on youtube. XD

Some late uploads of slightly more recent drawings. From top to bottom, we have a chibi  of the precious snek child,Madella(a naga), and below her the lovable dork Sophia (An angel). Both characters belong to @warlock0103 , I wanted to draw both because neither characters are as well-known as some of his others, and therefore needed some doodles.

This has been on my ‘I owe list’ for a while, so here’s a Tanner! He’s @warlock0103 ‘s character. I had a lot of fun working out a pose and embellishing a bit on the original design, along with using it as an excuse to pick up a new drawing program. XD
